    I had the most incredible experience during my stay. I reached out to the hotel to help organise a surprise wedding proposal, and from the very beginning, the service was exceptional. Nittshy made the entire process effortless and stress-free, listening carefully to what I wanted and tailoring every detail perfectly. The beachfront suite was stunning — spacious, beautifully maintained, and with breathtaking sea views. On the night of the proposal, the room was decorated with flowers in such a thoughtful and elegant way, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere. The next morning, enjoying a breakfast basket in our private pool was a lovely way to start the day. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the attention to detail from every staff member truly made the experience unforgettable. Thanks to their support, the proposal turned out exactly as I hoped — and even more special than I imagined. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone involved and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to create a meaningful, memorable moment.

    We visited Le Jadis as a couple for our honeymoon in late August 2025 and ranked it as the best of the three resorts we visited during our stay in Mauritius. This compact, romantic resort offers a private and intimate atmosphere where everything is within walking distance. The staff provide exceptional, personalized service, with a special mention to Yashna at reception. A particular highlight was the live music during dinner, ranging from grand piano players to singers. The rooms are impressive, notably for the private heated pools. While the hotel's own beach is not the most scenic, the pool bar concept and high-end spa compensate well. It is a secure, fully fenced property perfect for couples seeking relaxation and luxury.

    Avoid if you don’t want to be a victim of theft. My Louis Vuitton duffle bag got stolen from our hotel room. Management is ridiculous. And are not taking accountability for anything. Took my experience to social media to find out that we were not the only victims of theft and another couple got there wedding bands stollen. Security is awful. Apparently there is no cameras near the room so they can’t prove anything. Room service took 4hrs to arrive The beach is all rocks can’t enjoy the sea at all.

    Well this place started off great and ended being very bad experience…. So let me start on my last day we had a really bad experience we tried to order in room dining and the guy brought the food 15mins before we need to check out…. We had been trying to order since 1pm and they brought us food at 16:45….. to top it off my Loui Vitton duffle bag has gone missing….i bought this for roughly 92,000 Mur or £1500 gbp from uk we even upgraded the room and we spent lots of money as this was a bday treat to my self. I have travelled to many countries and I have never experienced theft in a 5 star hotel. Very unhappy

    Worst checkin experience | Cold reception staff The Bad: 1. Worst check-in experience: At the time of booking, certain complimentary services were promised, but these were outright denied during check-in. The staff was cold, unhelpful, and showed no willingness to acknowledge or resolve the issue. 2. Misleading “partial sea view”: The room was sold as having a partial sea view, but there was practically no sea visible. The view was mostly other rooms and trees, with a negligible glimpse of the sea at best. 3. Room change handled poorly: When we requested a room change within the same category for a better view, it was first denied citing availability issues. Later, we were told it could be done—but only with an extra charge. 4. Warm private pool not warm: We had specifically booked a warm private pool, but the temperature was clearly not warm enough. The staff refused to adjust or improve it. 5. Private” pool isn’t truly private: The private pool lacks proper privacy, something that is not clearly or honestly communicated at the time of booking. 6. Overtly money-driven mindset: The overall attitude of both the hotel and staff felt focused on extracting more money rather than ensuring a good guest experience. 7. Beach maintenance: The beach area could be significantly cleaner. Shoreline upkeep is lacking and could easily be improved. 8. In continuation of 6, for room service, the food is charged separately, and the service cost for room service is charged separately, have never heard this in my experience. The Good 1. The property itself is visually good. 2. The restaurant staff was polite and helpful, especially Sonah. 3. The room except the pool was good, room amenties were great. Conclusion I would not recommend booking or staying at Le Jadis Beach Resort & Wellness. You will almost certainly find better options in Mauritius that offer warmer hospitality and better value for money. The entire experience felt cold and unwelcoming—very similar to what we experienced earlier at Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel.
