Hotel was lovely, clean, tidy, helpful and friendly staff. Bedroom overlooked the mountains, we didn’t get any sun on the balcony but we got the sun set. The hotel food was great. It backed right on to the beach, the views were beautiful. The outdoor pool was fantastic. With the hotel being on the coast we got wonderful weather and was really nice to have a breeze. The lift seemed to be an issue, it was constantly out of order. There was the staff lift as an alternative which was ok but our bedroom was right next to it so it was noisy especially of an evening with the sound of the lift and the door slamming shut. We paid the extra to do the spa circuit for 2 hours one day. The hot beds, hydro pool and jacuzzi were great. The wet room and sauna could do with an upgrade. It was expensive to get a taxi to places, therefore we used the bus to get to Siam Park and other areas around Las Americas. (Google maps is great for navigating the buses.)

I would give this hotel 7/10. The rooms were good size with a large balcony, although to see the sea views from balcony you need to be standing.......kettle and tea/coffee was a good bonus. Cleaners were OK in my room, however other guests did say that they weren't thorough at all in their room. The food I thought was good. Always warm, could be overcooked quite a bit though. The drinks on the other hand left a lot to be desired.......hardly any cocktails on offer for AI, and those that were available were pretty poor. Gin OK, wine OK, do not pour from wine taps in the dining room. Pool was perhaps one of the best hotel pools I've experienced, very warm. Unfortunately the spa facilitates were out of action due to renovation so I cannot comment on them. The staff were particularly hit and miss..... Maria in the inside bar was very attentive and willing to help and friendly, that cannot be said for all the staff. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the nearest town is 15-20 minutes walk away. Another thing that let's this hotel downside that the AI bar shuts at 11.00 and guests are shooed out to the lobby. If you want a drink after this you have to pay in the basement bar (which closes at 12......). It seems very early to finish all inclusive drinks. In conclusion, this hotel did meet the mark of letting me recharge my batteries, but would I stay here again? Im not so sure......

Aranas del Mar was amazing from beginning to end! The location is perfect—close to the beach with beautiful views. The receptionists and staff were all very friendly and spoke English, which made everything easy and comfortable. The hotel was spotless, with daily cleaning, and the food was absolutely delicious—there was always something to enjoy at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including a great salad bar. The entertainment was a lovely touch too, with karaoke, bingo, and live shows. There’s also a shuttle service on certain days to the markets, and it’s only about a 20-minute walk into town for shopping and souvenirs. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pools were well maintained, and the gym on the top floor has a fantastic view. As it was my birthday, they even surprised me with a bottle of prosecco, which made the stay extra special. Definitely a 5-star experience! €1 refundable deposit for a plastic cup to use by the pool side or you can carry your own insulated cup with lid. The only downfall is public transport to get the bus it is a good 15 to 20 minute walk.

Excellent 5 night stay here from 27th April onwards. Great location right next to the beach. Huge room overlooking the pool & the sea with a lounge & large bathroom cleaned daily. Excellent choice of food all day. Big thanks to the reception staff for arranging to keep my room on til my return pick up time of 19:30. Heated salt water swimming pool & loads of sunbeds to chose from. 10/10. I would definitely return here.

Nice hotel with genuinely friendly and accommodating staff. I was a little unsure about going all-inclusive as a vegan, but I had no reason to worry. There were plenty of healthy vegan options available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and when I arrived late on my first evening after dinner service had finished, the chef kindly prepared a meal especially for me ❤️ The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxing holiday. The hotel has entertainment and even a disco onsite, while El Médano is only around a 20-minute walk away — or a quick taxi ride costing about €5 each way. One thing to keep in mind is the wind. Unless you manage to grab one of the more sheltered sun beds, it can get very breezy. On the plus side, it’s an excellent spot for foil surfers thanks to the strong winds. Just maybe avoid watching them too closely out at sea — especially later in the evening — unless you want to spend an anxious hour convincing yourself they’re fine and debating whether you should alert someone 😳
