The rooms were definitely the highlight of our stay. They are spacious, comfortable, and have nice balconies, which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service was very disappointing and far below what we would expect from a five-star hotel. The rooms were not cleaned properly, and basic amenities such as coffee, milk capsules and water bottles were not replenished. ‏Breakfast was average and quite basic. The selection and overall quality did not reflect

**Disastrous hotel, deceiving photos, absolutely not 5-star standard, terrible service** I strongly suggest to avoid and am not exaggerating. * The common areas are very dated, with several dirty sofas and carpets (actually stained and dirty). The online photos (while real) are misleading compared to reality. * The mattress is of poor quality and is composed of two beds put together with toppers, so there’s a hole in the middle. Not a 5 star hotel mattress. * The service is slow and poor. I tried to cancel at check-in after seeing the property. Even though I had booked the same day (the reservation was non-cancellable) and they only agreed (after escalating to manager) to refund the second night. No empathy, understanding or sense of service from the front desk manager especially since I had just made the reservation. * The checkout process took 40min as they’re not trained to issue a refund or deal with standard hospitality cases. The valet was not there, due to understaffing. I went to the garage myself and couldn’t find the car. I then had to wait again for the valet to come back. He didn’t so they want finally pointed me to a second garage where I went and got the car myself. * The suites are renovated, but the renovation is incomplete. The bathroom feels old as they kept some of the original marble/finishes with partial renovation, so a half-done update. The rest of the suite is nice and renovated with nice view. * The night time room service only has 4 very basic items to order (yes 4) so it’s practically inexistent. * The pool area is nice compared to the lobby/common areas, slightly dated furniture though. * The front desk and restaurant staff are friendly. Overall, this hotel is terrible and does not deliver a luxury hotel experience. At an €800 / night price point, the condition of the property and service is absolutely unacceptable. Hope this review is helpful to others.

Nothing occurred that would reasonably justify removing me from this hotel. There was no violence, no threats, no inappropriate behavior, and no violation of hotel policy on my part. This happened entirely out of the blue after another guest—whom hotel staff themselves acknowledged appeared to be scamming me—demanded that I be removed from a room for which I had paid over $1,100. Instead of protecting me as a guest who had already been checked in, had my passport scanned, and had paid half the cost of the room, Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá complied with his demand to remove me from the reservation. I watched staff remove my information from their system. Even after I later provided proof that I had paid for the room, the hotel did not reverse its decision or restore my status as a guest. I have never experienced anything like this at a luxury hotel. I paid over $1,100 USD toward a shared room at Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá. Although we had booked a room with a double bed, the other guest changed the reservation to a single-bed room without my knowledge or consent before I arrived. Later, after leaving me behind at another location and forcing me to find my own way back to the hotel, he locked me out of the room I had paid to stay in. When I finally returned, he refused to open the door. Hotel staff eventually let me into the room, where he pretended to be asleep despite my repeated attempts to wake him. When he finally woke up, I explained that I was no longer comfortable sharing a single bed with him after everything that had happened. Rather than attempting to find a reasonable solution, he went to the front desk and demanded that I be removed from the reservation. The situation became even worse when he threw my belongings into the hallway. I was never allowed back into the room to verify that all of my possessions had been returned. I later discovered that a highly valuable silver chain necklace had not been returned to me, and because I was denied access back into the room, I was never given the opportunity to determine whether any other valuables were missing. Most alarming was the hotel’s handling of the escalating confrontation. The other guest repeatedly yelled at me in the hotel lobby while I repeatedly asked him to stop and attempted to de-escalate the situation. Hotel staff told me they were considering calling the police because of his behavior. However, when he approached me again approximately an hour later and continued confronting me in the lobby a second time, the hotel still chose not to call the police or take meaningful action to protect me. Shortly before midnight, I found myself as a young woman being turned out onto the streets with my luggage despite having paid over $1,100 toward my accommodations. Hotel staff told me they would only provide me with a complimentary room for the night if I first helped the apparent scammer—whom a member of the hotel staff had acknowledged appeared to be scamming me—search for his lost iPhone. I found it astonishing that, after everything that had happened, I was expected to assist the very person who had locked me out of my room, demanded that I be removed from the reservation, and thrown my belongings into the hallway before the hotel would provide me with a safe place to sleep. What I find most troubling is that the hotel appeared to accept one guest’s instructions without making any meaningful effort to investigate my claim that I had paid for the room or to protect my access to my belongings. Their actions effectively handed complete control of accommodations I had paid for to the other guest, despite subsequently receiving proof of my payment. I have filed police reports and fraud complaints with local authorities and U.S. government agencies, submitted formal complaints regarding the hotel’s handling of this incident, and am pursuing legal remedies. I cannot recommend Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá based on my experience.

A truly unforgettable stay – made magical by Alicia! Staying at Gran Meliá Victoria Mallorca is a experience like no other. It is such a unique, iconic property, and knowing how much dedication and effort goes into maintaining a hotel of this caliber makes staying here all the more special. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication, but an extra special spotlight must go to Alicia Dzhafarova from Guest Experience. Alicia’s exceptional hospitality, genuine warmth, and proactive care made our stay truly extraordinary. We are so grateful to have had her looking after us—she provides the kind of thoughtful, world-class service that genuinely makes all the difference. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you, Alicia, and thank you Gran Meliá Victoria!

Good amenities with breakfast and drinks. Nice view of the harbour from the rooms and breakfast deck. Staff are so lovely! Decor is dated and needs rejuvenation/spruce up. Round the pool feels heartless with no vibes. They do have hairdrye , straighteners and a steamer! They provide pool towels. There is not a shower cap in the bathroom - a small touch that has been overlooked. 30 minute walk into town along the harbour.
