We have stayed at the Valparaiso before and choose to return as we received such warm and welcoming service. The hotel is set up over the harbour, which is wonderful to look over. It is very comfortable, lovely swimming pools and garden areas. There is plenty of shade if you need it. The hotel staff are really amongst the very best we've ever experienced, nothing is too much trouble for them. The Hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre of Palma - maybe 25-30 minutes on a hot day but taxi's are plentiful and cost about 15-18 euro. It also means it's very peaceful. Breakfast service is excellent plus the food in the restaurant. We will stay again!

I stayed there with my partner for a weekend after not seeing each other for a while and it couldn’t have been more pleasant than we could have imagined and expected. Everything was as perfect as we wanted to be. The breakfast buffet was delicious, the service at reception was 5 starts superior, the rooms were so clean and comfortable with a wonderful view of Palma city and I couldn’t say anything more than the incredible spa experience we did. We have done lots of spa in the past but this one, was from a different level, all the facilities were fantastic and the message were the best one we have ever had. Definitely a hotel I would recommend staying 100% with your other half if you want to relax and have a romantic experience.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel and would happily return. It was clean, quiet, and offered great value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, with excellent service from both the front-of-house team and the concierge. The room was spacious, clean, and exactly as described, with all the amenities listed. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, and we were able to arrange a late check-out for an additional fee, which was perfect as our flight wasn't until the evening. The hotel is within easy reach of Palma town centre, although it's worth noting that it's situated on a steep, winding hill. This may not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues unless you're planning to use taxis or have your own transport. The upside is the stunning views over the harbour. The pool area was lovely and relaxing, with complimentary pool towels provided and drinks served directly to your sunbed, which was a nice touch. Our only real disappointment was the room configuration. The hotel advertises a triple room, and I specifically checked in advance that this meant three proper beds rather than a sofa bed or camp bed. I was assured it would be three beds, but in reality it was a double room with a camp bed. As three grown women celebrating a milestone birthday, a camp bed wasn't ideal. We also found that the room had only been prepared for two guests, so we had to request a third glass, mug, and other essentials. To the hotel's credit, I raised this directly after our stay, and they acknowledged that the website description was misleading and apologised, which I appreciated. The only other area for improvement would be the daytime food offering. A more relaxed lunch menu would have been welcome, as we ended up eating elsewhere during the day. Overall, these were relatively minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. The friendly staff, beautiful setting, excellent service, and spectacular harbour views made for a wonderful trip, and we would definitely stay here again.

An overall EXCELLENT experience, expertly curated by the staff at GPRO Valparaiso, but most especially by ✨Alicia✨ at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure our momentous milestones were celebrated appropriately! Many thanks to our staff who catered to our special request and prepared our room accordingly. For a fee of €20 per person, hotel residents get access to the indoor pool and thermal spa. Although the amenities are EXCELLENT, it's a disservice for a 5-star hotel not to include all the advertised amenities in the cost of the room! Note outdoor pools are freezing cold for most of the year. Fantastic meal at the restaurant downstairs, where there is a live singer once a week!

Disappointed. 5 star hotels should be luxury? It may well have been 5 star 15 years ago. It is very dated, the rooms are spacious and ares had a great view but again old, twin beds only no doubles. The hotel is situated on top of a steep hill away from any restaurants or things to do, we walked it once but only the once after that it was a taxi ride each time. Palma centre is about an hours walk, or 30 euro in a taxi each way! I would certainly not recommend taking children here, there is nothing to do. You have to pay to use the spa so be aware of that. Staff brilliant. It is clean and very quiet. Breakfast was lovely, can't knock that at all. Poor location & more like a 3 star hotel.
