When you hear “Hilton” and “5-star hotel” in the same sentence, you naturally have high expectations.Unfortunately, upon arrival, it became clear that this hotel falls far short of those expectations. The hotel itself was outdated and in clear need of renovation. The overall condition of the hotel does not reflect a 5-star rating. I would personally rate it closer to 3 stars at best. The bathroom and shower was exceptionally small. Breakfast was underwhelming, with cold food being served, the gluten-free food selection (I am a celiac) was extremely limited, despite being assured beforehand that suitable options would be available. This was frustrating and did not meet expectations. Because of the breakfast, we did not even think to try the 45€ pp. dinner. Another disappointment was the adults-only area, Vista de Rey, which was closed all the time during our stay, with no explanation. Upon arrival, we payed additional deposit, which had not been clearly explained beforehand. We also never received a proper breakdown or explanation regarding this charge until we went back and asked. On the positive side, the gym was great and the views from the hotel were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable and cozy My disappointment comes not from expecting perfection, but from the significant gap between the 5-star branding and the actual experience.

I booked a 2 night stay at the Hilton Mallorca Galatzo through the Hilton app, and unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. Due to a flight delay, we arrived just past midnight. While the front desk agent checked us in quickly, he was clearly in a rush to end his shift. He forgot to write down our room number until we asked, and we later discovered one of our keycards didn't work. When my wife went back to get it reissued next day, the receptionist was remarkably rude, offering no apology and simply handing it back with a blunt "this should work now." Additionally, the parking situation is inconvenient, requiring a very long and sweaty walk back to the lobby. Worst of all, for a hotel claiming to be 5-star, they do not provide ice buckets. When we called to ask for ice to chill some wine, we were told to walk all the way to the pool bar ourselves. When my wife walked to the pool bar, the staff informed her they didn't have buckets to lend either and that we would need to buy our own ourselves. I am glad I only booked two nights here before moving to a Hyatt property for the rest of our trip. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Outstanding Stay with Stunning Views and Exceptional Service This hotel is truly a hidden gem. Located away from the busy tourist center, it offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that is hard to find in Mallorca. One of the highlights is the breathtaking view overlooking a beautiful bay – waking up to that scenery every day was simply unforgettable. The entire property is impeccably clean, and you can tell that great attention is paid to every detail. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well maintained, making the stay extremely comfortable. What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Every single team member is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to fulfill any request with a smile. A special mention goes to Victoria at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Her professionalism and warmth made a lasting impression. In terms of quality and overall experience, this hotel feels much closer to a Hilton LXR or Conrad property rather than a standard Hilton. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for Mallorca visitors who prefer a more शांत and refined setting instead of staying in the middle of crowded tourist areas.

The travelling bear

One could argue that the location isn't the best but for us, it's perfect: It's away from all the hustle and noise on the beach and it's perfect if you explore the island by car, which we do. Rooms are great and you feel like a valued loyal customer of Hilton. The view from our family suite is only slightly towards the sea but it's fine, actually maybe even nicer with the trees to the left (see picture). Great services with indoor pool and saunas, as well as padel. I'm sure the outdoor area is fantastic during the season. Only minus: No executive lounge for Diamond members / Premium Suites.
