Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes and make us feel valued. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and their attention to detail was remarkable. As a Diamond Member, I have stayed at many Hilton properties around the world, but the level of recognition and care we received here was outstanding. We were genuinely spoiled throughout our stay, with thoughtful touches, personalized service, and a sincere commitment to ensuring we had the best possible experience. The hotel itself is beautifully set up, offering a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. Combined with the welcoming atmosphere created by the staff, it made for an unforgettable stay. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mauritius Hilton. We have stayed in the best hotels around the world and were pleasantly surprised by this resorts offering. They were responsive on email, made special arrangements for our arrival / departure and put an enormous amount of effort into making our visit feel special. The breakfast is plentiful, the grounds are well maintained and beautiful, while the smaller pool has an incredible view early in the morning. There’s also a nice sunset bar which doesn’t get enough recognition for the views and design. I must commend all of the staff who went above and beyond to do everything within their power to accommodate any and every request. This is probably the best Hilton I’ve ever stayed at, bravo!

Despite the relatively low overall Google rating, I decided to stay at Hilton Flic en Flac after reading the detailed reviews, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere throughout the resort was excellent, relaxed, and welcoming. During our stay, we dined in all of the restaurants except the evening buffet. The possibility of having dinner in à la carte restaurants instead of being limited to a buffet was actually the main reason I chose Hilton over several nearby resorts, and it definitely met my expectations. The food was consistently very good, both in presentation and taste. The only downside is the beach for swimming. The water is very shallow, and there are many coral fragments near the shoreline, making access to the sea a bit less comfortable. Apart from that, the hotel itself is of very high quality, with great service, excellent dining options, and a pleasant atmosphere. In my opinion, the current Google rating of 4.4 is significantly lower than what this resort deserves.

Had an amazing time in Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa and it was beyond my expectation.First of all, upon arrival, we received an amazing warm welcome by the staffs, th room was very clean and neatly arranged. I was very amazed about how clean the swimming pools were, clear water. Amazing architecture. Well trained staffs 👏,one of the hotel's best elements is its staffs, always smiling, and welcoming, no discrimination between local clients and tourists clients. Special recognition due to Mrs. Jeannick, she is an angel, a person of good heart, always listening to the clients, always having a smile on her face, secondly, Adarsh and Nikkil, the restaurant waiters, very friendly, helpful whenever we were in need of something in the restaurant. Concerning the food, many varieties are offered, the restaurant is very hygienic and serves new delicious food for clients to try. Great hotel to explore. You will not regret for sure.

Overall, we had a good stay at Hilton Mauritius. The property itself is beautiful — spacious rooms, great architecture, well-maintained grounds, and good food. The location and overall resort vibe make for a very relaxing family vacation. That said, there were a few guest experience gaps that were surprising for a luxury resort. One policy felt particularly odd — despite paying for the dining experience, even basic table water during dinner was chargeable. Not premium bottled water or packaged consumption, but basic hydration during a meal. It felt less like hospitality and more like monetising a necessity, especially while dining with family and kids. The kids activity centre also felt largely inactive during our stay. Activities rarely ran as per schedule and the space lacked enough engagement or amenities for children. There were also a few operational misses — for example, it took more than 30 minutes and multiple follow-ups for a luggage trolley to arrive during checkout. None of these individually ruined the experience, but together they created some inconsistency in the overall guest experience expected from a Hilton property. Still, the stay in general was enjoyable and relaxing. I also shared detailed feedback addressed to the GM — hopefully it reaches the right leadership team and helps improve the experience further.
