Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket offers a good experience, and the biggest surprise is how the stunning beachside setting allows for absolute relaxation without ever needing to leave the resort. Situated about forty-five minutes away from the airport, the location is highly accessible and provides free parking options, though it is far from shopping districts and night markets. The hotel facilities are kept in good condition and do not feel aged, featuring stable room internet speed and a swimming pool that is decent for a refreshing dip rather than lap swimming, though the shower water pressure could be stronger. Guests will find the breakfast quality acceptable, with food availability being consistent, even if the selection could offer more diverse options. There are a couple of great restaurants inside the hotel, making it easy to dine steps from the sand. A helpful tip for travelers is to avoid booking rooms near the lobby if planning to sleep early, as they offer live music in the lobby area.

Had an excellent stay at Dusit Laguna Phuket overall. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff were truly exceptional throughout our stay. They genuinely tried to accommodate every request with warmth and professionalism, which made the experience very comfortable and memorable. A special mention to Dragon (Saswatsam) at the front desk, who was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. His service stood out and really added to the positive experience. The only area that could improve is the vegetarian selection at the breakfast buffet, which was very limited compared to what many international travelers would expect. Also, it was quite surprising that the kitchen completely closes at 11:30 PM, after which no food orders are possible at all. For a large luxury hotel like Dusit, the absence of any late-night dining option felt unusual. That said, the hospitality and overall experience were excellent, and we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful family stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always attentive. The location is exceptional, with a beautiful beach and lovely small restaurants nearby. Despite the size of the hotel, the spaces are very well designed, and it never feels crowded. We also especially appreciated the team at La Trattoria, who were very warm and attentive, and already knew my coffee habits after just two days. The housekeeping staff also did an excellent job, always with great discretion, and it was a real pleasure to return to the room after their service. Another point we really appreciated: we did not have any mosquitoes during our stay. A truly excellent family memory.

Family-Friendly at Bang Tao Beach The Beach & Location: The beach itself is beautiful and clean, though the waves can get a bit rough at times(May 2026).A major plus is that the hotel is part of the integrated Laguna Phuket complex. This gives you easy access to a nearby shopping center and includes a complimentary Laguna shuttle bus service to get around. Activities: They offer an excellent selection of water sports right at the resort (available at an additional charge), highly convenient. Kids' Club: Traveling with children here is perfect. The hotel features a great kids' club with supervised activities, and the staff can fully take care of children aged 3 and above(May 2026) The Pool: The swimming pool setup is like beach slope and was our children’s absolute favorite part of the trip. It is divided into a dedicated kids' pool with a water slide, and a main central pool designed with a slopping. Staff is Thai graciousness as Dusit’s standard. Love this part the most.

Really recommended this place at least for a week. Staff is highly cooperative and friendly towards all guests requirements. This resort is very convenient for Indians as vegetarian food is available here from the very good Indian chef harry. They have many restaurants here for dining but ours favourite was La Trattoria restaurant. Ms. Pattra, Nit and PU really served well and took good care of our eating tastes.
