Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, refreshments, soft drinks, beer, spirits, etc are served from 11:00-22:00 (except during meal times). I have had the most lovely stay at the Centara Resort. In particular O from ripples pool bar was so kind and accommodating, making our pool experience very enjoyable, he greeted us by name every day and would go above and beyond to provide the best service. The staff at the spa were so welcoming and sweet, making it a very special experience. Panny gave me a lovely massage and the lady who greeted us at the front was so kind. Aoy, Pumpai, and other restaurant staff were extremely helpful and kind, making our dining experience wonderful. The resort and rooms were so clean and beautiful, and food was delicious. Zero complaints, I would love to return here again. 😊

We stayed for 7 nights and had such high hopes but fell short over all. We spent 4 in room 441 and 3 in room 941, after getting to 441 where the view is mostly of the next balcony as opposed to the ocean. It took two separate elevators in two different buildings to get to the room - with a baby and toddler this was less than ideal to get to the pool and back quickly. If you’re traveling with a stroller/wheelchair, be sure to request a room close to an elevator as the resort is very stair heavy and not well marked or practical otherwise. Overall you’re quite isolated by foot if with a stroller as there’s no path along the ocean from the hotel and the only option is along the shoulder of a busy and steep road into Karon. The beach and facilities are beautiful, and great breakfast, but I would not return with children under 5 or who do not walk (or climb copious amounts of stairs) independently. Pros - Fabulous breakfast, loved the fresh pastries, juices, coffee to order and yogurts - Right on the beach at the very end so very quiet - Very beautiful surroundings - Room 941 (deluxe spa) has perfect view and ocean breeze - Hotel Application for speedy responses and service - Plenty of chairs available by the beach and pool - Grab food delivery available for pick up near reception - Friendly and polite staff - Able to move the double beds together for an extra wide bed for 2 babies and 2 adults as baby refused crib - Comfy beds and pillows Cons - Not stroller/handicap friendly. A maze to find the closest ramp or elevator (no signs). Our initial room (441) took 2 separate elevators in different buildings to reach - not ideal with small children. - No shuttle to surrounding city (Karon or Patong), taxi ~200 baht each way - No sidewalk to get to Karon on busy and steep road - No path along beach for stroller - Drink and food prices high (135 baht for a soda, 190 small can of beer). In nearby restaurants soda is 25-35, in 7-11 16 baht. - Very rough bottom of pool - both my son and I were injured in the shallow kids pool from the slide (thank you to the doctor for escorting my son to the clinic!) - Kids club not the cleanest - floor mats were deteriorating and our baby was trying to eat the loose pieces of floor - Arcade games in the kids club only for paid use - Portion of lazy river closed and one of the major 3 pools (full of jacuzzis) was not functional - Room cleaning didn’t happen until 5pm or until requested multiple times - Rooms dated - broken blinds inside and out and peeling/flaking paint outside

We had a wonderful stay at Centara Beach Resort Phuket. The resort is beautiful, with great facilities and a fantastic beachfront location. A special thank you to Tee, Kitty, and Yah at the restaurant for their exceptional service. They were always friendly, attentive, and made every dining experience enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay more memorable. The only downside was that our room was not consistently cleaned on some days, which was a little disappointing. However, aside from this issue, we had a lovely experience overall. Thank you to the team for making our holiday special. We would happily return in the future.

Stop looking - this is the best resort! Stayed with my son, 13 and daughter 11. Fantastic facilities with the pool, lazy river, cliff diving and water slides!! But what made this stay the best was the staff - especially Yah, Aoy, Ray at the Cove restaurant. Always had a margarita(x2) ready for me. Boy and Santa were excellent pool bar staff!! The food was excellent every meal, great spread. Awesome location, highly recommend! Our first time in Thailand and an unforgettable experience. You will not be disappointed

Fantastic place to stay on beach. Close to Patong and also a nice shopping area is just 10mins walk down beach with great local restaurants. The adult only pool is perfect if you do not want children around you when swimming. The pools here are all wonderful. My 2nd visit here and it's still amazing. Highly recommend. The buffet breakfast is outstanding.
