What can I say this is absolutely top hotel with delicious food. Beautiful and clean territory,polite stuff and friendly people. Spa was absolutely worth every euro. Thank you for two tiny ladies that made massage and made me snore 😴 room very comfortable and clean and very comfortable pillows. Good view. I wish that my vacation last longer.

Sadly last day at Barut Hemera and what to say about our experience other than a-maz-ing! Service teams are first class and can't do enough for you at the many bars and restaurants throughout the resort. Entertainment could not be faulted as a packed programme available everyday. Wonderful also to see so many children having a wonderful time at the mini disco before the start of evening event on the main stage. Beach is comfortable with easy access. Hotel benefits from several pools from a family pool to a quiet 16+ pool as well as indoor pools. Truly a place for something for everyone. Hotel has a handy app where you can order drinks and meals via QR codes as well as pre-book restaurants plus other information. If coming back to Side; we would definitely book here again. Thank you to all the team at Barut Hemera for making this holiday that much more special!

The minute we arrived we were treated absolutely perfectly and courteously by all the staff, check in was so swift, we were taken to our room by the concierge, who was informative about the room etc. The staff here make this hotel and I mean all the staff, to me they are on equal terms no matter who they are. I have to mention the staff at the beach bar and restaurant who looked after us so well, to Mustafa, who will know the names of his work mates who made us and our holiday so special and how you remembered our drinks you are amazing, you all worked the places like clockwork. I just wish I could have remembered all your names, but my memory fails me! We have to mention all the other staff in all areas, every single one of you are a credit to the Barut chain. Thank you to Jonah at the 16+ pool for keeping me in Turkish tea and coffee, you are fantastic. Osge and colleagues in the lobby bar you are fantastic too. The food was super and tasty, what folk moan about I don't no, why. Drinks terrific. To every single staff member we wish you all well and will see you again in 2028. Kim and Dale

Stayed at this beautiful hotel in February 2026. Amazing grounds, kept so well. Loved the wood sculptures around the site. Room was lovely with generous balcony and very nice shower room. Lovely walk through the grounds to the beach. If you're going to this hotel, make sure you take the 30 mins (ish) walk into Side and see the stunning ruins at the Temple of Apollo. Couldn't recommend Barut Hamera highly enough.

Me and my wife have just finished our 9 night stay and overall we really enjoyed it. Service: the service was fantastic. You normally did not need to wait long for someone to offer to get you a drink if you are by the pool and the staff were all very friendly. Also if you have a request they fulfil it almost immediately. The only time service was hit and miss was the buffet restaurant. They have 1 person per section and they seemed to struggle to keep on top of everything. Clearing plates was the priority but rarely did we get asked if we wanted our wine refilled. Food/Drink: there was plenty of choice and presented very well. It all tasted good. We found ourselves always going to the bar by the beach for lunch as thought this had the best options. It had a buffet and you could order simple fresh dishes. Lots of fresh fruit and salads which we liked. They also have a Patisserie. The coffee here tasted much better than the restaurants and they have great deserts. Room: this was the biggest disappointment. The room was lovely inside and had lots of amenities. You could even request a special pillow if the standards ones are not to your liking. Unfortunately the rooms have no sound proofing so you hear everything from the neighbours tv, furniture moving in the room above and any guests/housekeepers in the corridor. The doors are also not soft close so they constantly bang when people enter or leave a room. We found it impossible to relax in peace in the room between the hours of 9am - bed time due to the noise. Pool: the hotel has a good selection of pools. We always went to the adult only/quiet pool which was a more relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately it is surrounded by the swim up pools so if children are playing in those pools then the adult pool is no longer quiet and doesn't feel like an adult only area. Hotel gounds and Cats: the grounds are beautiful and well looked after by the garden staff. You will also see cats about the hotel grounds. I am not a cat person but they are very well behaved and looked after by the hotel. Due to this they are not pests and more like the hotels pets. I think all hotels should copy how Barut Hemera takes care of animals. I was very impressed. Overall we did enjoy our stay but would not return due to finding it a bit too noisy.
