⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking for a resort with a long white sandy beach, then this review may not be for you. However, if you want to know what makes Occidental Costa Cancún a great place to stay, keep reading. One of the things I appreciated most was their flexibility with arrival and departure times. We arrived early in the morning, well before the official check-in time. Instead of waiting around, the resort gave us full access to all the facilities. Since we had booked the all-inclusive package, we were able to enjoy the restaurants, pools, beach area, drinks, and all other amenities while waiting for our room to be ready at 3:00 PM. The same excellent service applied on our departure day. Although we had to check out of our room at 11:00 AM, we were allowed to continue using the all-inclusive facilities until 2:00 PM. After that, we could still stay and enjoy the resort’s common areas until our late flight, which made our last day much more comfortable and stress-free. The resort itself was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety and quality that often felt more like dining in a good restaurant than a typical all-inclusive buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The excellent service, flexibility, cleanliness, food quality, and welcoming atmosphere made this a great vacation experience. I would definitely recommend Occidental Costa Cancún to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Cancún.

For almost half of the price of other all inclusives that we were quoted by our travel agent, this resort was “good enough”. We have been to many 5 star resorts and this wasn’t too far off besides some missing amenities (not much for kids to do) The resort is small but nice and clean. Food options are limited but sufficient. We all stuck to fully cooked foods and none of us got sick in our immediate family. I would suggest more traditional Mexican food as we missed proper tacos and had to find these off resort. The staff was very helpful with my celiac dietary restrictions as well. The resort is right off a nice walking trail and next to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Great trip overall!

We had a great time here overall. The pool and the beach were great. The food was consistently good across the resort. The staff was fantastic and always willing to help. We had some issues with the rooms and had to be relocated twice. However, they handled it professionally despite a few issues. The rooms are outdated and with maintenance issues, at least the ones I saw. I would stay again here as long as prices are competitive.

I was SO disappointed in this resort! The place is run down. The entertainment was hit or miss….the schedule was never followed. And the food was subpar. I will say the workers were SO very nice!! And the service was great! That’s the only reason for the extra star. You can see from the pictures that the location. Isn’t great. You can only see building and you never get the true ocean waves unless a boat comes by. Looking out of the fitness room was a bit scary too. We made the best of it but it was my sons first all inclusive and I hope it won’t be his last since it was wasn’t great.

Every body was very pleasant and attentive. Juanita was very sweet and cordial. We also like to comment the Michael Jackson staff, they were very good, professional and entertaining. Please also give our best regards to the piano players and the Lady that sang Selenena songs. They all have been very good. Thank you to all for a very pleasant and enjoyable vacation. God bless you all!!!

This was amazing for me as someone with celiac a severe gluten allergy, the staff made me feel comfortable and accommodated my needs. For breakfast and lunch we spoke to the chef explaining the allergy and cross contamination and they did not hesitate to cut us fresh fruit from the back, and make us meals for example for breakfast we had eggs, fruits, gluten free bread, and to top it off the even made us banana pancakes. Also for breakfast on the first day the chef knew right away that the eggs were not okay because they were made with butter that was shared amongst other gluten containing things, which made me happy that they understood the cross contamination. For lunch we had rice and veggies with fish/chicken, they made a gluten free pizza, even made us tacos pork/beef/chicken from the back as well. It was seriously extraordinary, and after a few days we stopped needing to talk to the chef the hostess would go give our order directly to the chef for us and when they’d bring us the food they always mentioned how it’s gluten free. For dinner there was the amazing chef Antonio he was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free at the buffet so for dinner we would go right as it opened before others cross contaminated things that way it gave us options and one night he even came out with tortillas for us to add to our meal. Dinner was the only buffet we ate at since we’d go before things got cross contaminated. For breakfast and dinner since we wouldn’t get there before others the chef would get us stuff from the back. For lunch and dinner they also gave us gluten free dessert options like brownies, apple cake, corn cake, mini lemon muffin, cheesecake, etc. We also did get dinner reservations for the Italian and Mexican restaurants and for both dinners they staff let us know which dishes were able to be modified to be made gluten free (the Italian it was meats just with no sauce, and for the Mexican we got tacos just with corn tortillas and without a certain seasoning since they weren’t sure but for the Mexican dinner we also did have flan for our dessert). Honestly before going on this trip I was really worried that I was not going to eat much, but when I tell you I was super full after every meal with how much options they gave us it was amazing. As a celiac who must have a gluten free strict diet this was way better than I thought it was going to be thanks to how much knowledge and care they staff had regarding my allergy.

I have had an amazing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico. The first thing that stood out to me was the cleanliness. The entire resort is exceptionally well maintained, from the rooms to the restaurants, pool areas and gardens. The housekeeping team does a fantastic job and everything is spotless. The staff are truly wonderful. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with a smile. Their hard work and positive attitude made my holiday even more enjoyable. The food is another highlight. There is a great variety available every day, with plenty of fresh options, local dishes and international cuisine. No matter what you fancy, there is always something delicious to choose from. The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely facilities, a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of activities for guests who want them. Whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy the beach or stay active, there is something for everyone. Overall, I have had a fantastic experience and would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for making my holiday so special!

For travelers coming from the United States, this hotel offers good value for the money. The prices are reasonable, and the amenities are decent, but you generally get what you pay for. I would compare it to the Motel 6 of the Barceló all-inclusive brands. It's not a bad resort, but it is smaller and more basic. The savings compared with the Barceló Maya Grand Resort, just a few miles south, may only be around $30–40 per night, and in my opinion the Grand Resort is well worth the extra cost. If you stay here, I recommend requesting a **ground-floor room**. During our stay, the air conditioning in our second-floor room never cooled below about **24°C (75°F)**, making the room warmer than we would have liked. We also had issues with insects in the room. We placed towels under the door to reduce the number coming in, but we still found insects inside. My son developed several itchy bites on his legs during our four-night stay. I can't say whether they were caused by insects entering the room or by bed bugs, so I can't make that conclusion. After four nights, we moved to the Barceló Maya Colonial at the larger Barceló Maya Grand Resort, where our experience has been significantly better.

Very small resort and quiet. Perfect for relaxing. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are small but clean. Not a lot of storage space but fine for a week. Beach is absolutely beautiful. Lots of beach chairs and palm trees for shade. Beach service is fantastic. Food is fine. You will always find something but the buffet and a la cartes are definitely not for foodies. Very repetitive. We would come back for sure though. A nice touch is that every room has a patio with a hammock. Great resort!

Nice resort for a stay with family and friends. Food is quite good, although a wider variety would be much appreciated. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The beach is quite big, with lots of space for the family, although a little bit more of shade would be great. There’s a kids club well equipped for the little ones, my kid enjoyed it a lot The entertainment/animation staff were also very friendly and had several activities to keep the guests entertained (bingo, trivia, contests, among others). Annet and Angel were great at this area!

Our recent stay at Allegro Cozumel was another unforgettable experience, and it’s exactly why we continue to return year after year. The resort, staff, and atmosphere make us feel like family every time we visit. A very special thank you goes to Arbey Aguilar Lopez and the entire First Club staff for going above and beyond to make our family celebration extraordinary. Arbey helped coordinate the most intimate and beautiful marriage proposal for my son and future daughter-in-law. Every detail was perfectly planned, creating memories that our family will cherish forever. As if that wasn’t enough, Arbey also arranged a wonderful anniversary dinner for my husband and me, surrounded by our friends and family who traveled with us to celebrate these special milestones. The evening was absolutely perfect, and we were even lucky enough to make new friends, including a wonderful couple from Oklahoma who joined us in celebrating a birthday during our special dinner. The entertainment team is truly top-notch and keeps us coming back every year. Their energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to making every guest feel included are unmatched. We especially love the beach volleyball and all of the daily activities that bring guests together and create lasting memories. The entire staff consistently ensures that guests are well cared for, welcomed, and appreciated. Their dedication is one of the biggest reasons we love introducing new friends and family to Allegro Cozumel so they can experience the same exceptional hospitality that keeps us returning year after year. Thank you again to Arbey Aguilar Lopez, the First Club staff, the entertainment team, and everyone at Allegro Cozumel for another amazing vacation filled with memories we’ll treasure forever.

We had an amazing week at Allegro. Our absolute favorite was the entertainment staff (Diego, Arbey, and Angel). They made our week so much fun! The beach and views are so beautiful. The rooms were clean and our housekeeper kept us stocked with everything we needed. The wait staff at the pool, Itzel and Danna, were always asking us what drinks we wanted. Victor who gave the towels always had a huge smile on his face and was so sweet. We are looking forward to a return trip!

It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t great either. The biggest disappointment was the food. I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts and understand the food is usually average at best, but this was noticeably worse than what I’ve experienced elsewhere. The buffet options were very limited and lacked flavor, and surprisingly there weren’t even tacos available, which felt odd considering we were in Mexico. The best meal we had the entire trip was actually across the street at Iguanas Restaurant, which was excellent and a highlight of the trip. The drinks were also disappointing and tasted very watered down most of the time. Another issue was the limited dining availability. Only one restaurant was open each night, and reservations were difficult to get. The last reservation slot was around 9pm, which filled up quickly. There were also several small things that added up. The hot tub was barely warmer than the pool, the pools closed early at 7pm, and the beach was completely closed at night. There were no hammocks or beach daybeds to relax in during the day. Entertainment in the evenings was minimal and not very engaging. We were traveling with a group of 12 people, and there really weren’t any good hangout areas large enoughfor groups besides the lobby couches. Overall, the resort felt pretty average and lacked the little touches that make an all-inclusive experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, based on this stay, we wouldn’t choose to return.

Hans Pruter

We were very disappointed with our stay. Overall, the experience did not live up to the expectations we had when booking this resort. The staff was generally not very friendly or welcoming. While we understand that hospitality can be demanding, the overall atmosphere made it seem like employees were unhappy. It gave us the impression that there may be management issues or that employees are not being well supported, which unfortunately showed in the level of service we received. Throughout our stay, the resort was constantly running out of basic items, including drinks and food. Even when food was available, the quality was below average and not what we expected from an all-inclusive resort. When we checked in, we specifically asked whether reservations were required for the specialty restaurants. We were told that reservations were not necessary. Later, we found out that reservations were in fact required, which meant we missed the opportunity to eat at some of the restaurants because they were already fully booked. This lack of accurate information was extremely frustrating. The coffee machines around the resort were also frequently out of service, making it difficult to get coffee in the mornings. The entertainment was another letdown. It felt like it had a lot of potential, but the shows and activities lacked energy and organization. Compared to other resorts we've visited, it simply wasn't very engaging. The biggest disappointment, however, was the water park. One of the main reasons we chose this resort was because of its advertised water park for families. Our children are still young and were not comfortable using the slides without an adult. Unfortunately, we were told that adults were not allowed to accompany them on the attractions. As a result, our kids were unable to enjoy one of the primary attractions that influenced our decision to book this resort. Overall, the poor service, lack of organization, food shortages, misleading information, and disappointing entertainment made this a frustrating vacation. This resort has a lot of potential, but it seems to suffer from management and operational issues that negatively affect both the guest experience and, possibly, the employees as well. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend it.

The rooms are really small, but nice. The service is good, fast especially around the pool. The food is ok, I loved the fusion restaurant. The location is great I love the beach, the fact that there's two pools around the main area. I love that is no very big, every thing is close. I loved the entertainment especially Arby, he was really great. The show's were really good, my favorite was the international show. The downside, is the food is not the best, just edible, there wasn't a big variety. The second downside is the rooms, there really small, with four people it's very tight. In conclusion, the food was ok, service could be faster, rooms could be bigger, location was amazing and entertainment was really great.

I stayed at the Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen Adults Only and honestly came away with mixed feelings — but I’d still consider staying again because the location carries this resort hard. The biggest selling point is absolutely where it’s located. You’re right in the middle of Playa del Carmen and can easily walk to shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife, and the beach. If you’re someone who likes leaving the resort and exploring, this location is a huge advantage compared to larger Riviera Maya resorts where you feel isolated once you’re on property. The vibe of the resort was more relaxed and social than luxury. It didn’t feel overly rowdy or like a nonstop spring break party, but it also wasn’t super quiet either. It had a really good middle-ground energy where you could hang by the pool, have drinks, meet people, or just relax without feeling pressured into activities all day. The bartenders and staff were friendly, and the pool atmosphere was honestly one of the highlights of the trip for me. Now for the honest part — the food was probably the weakest area for me. Breakfast was consistently the best meal of the day and had a solid variety of options. Outside of breakfast, the buffet food was pretty average overall. Not terrible, but not something I found myself looking forward to either. To be completely fair, I never made it to the specialty restaurants because I kept getting too comfortable (and too drunk) at the pool during the day and never recovered in time for dinner plans, so that part is probably on me. 😂 The rooms themselves were actually good and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the room size was solid, and I had no complaints there. The bathrooms, though, definitely felt more dated and could use updating compared to the rest of the room. The beach situation is probably the most misleading part if you only look at resort photos online. There isn’t really direct “walk straight onto the beach” access from the pool area like some people may expect. There’s a smaller sand/lounge area on property with chairs, but there’s a bush/vegetation barrier between that area and the actual beach. To get to the real beach and beach bar with the swings, I had to go out toward the front/side of the resort and walk around. Maybe there was another access point I missed, but it definitely wasn’t intuitive. The beach itself visually looks beautiful when you’re standing there looking out at the water — that classic turquoise Playa del Carmen color is absolutely there. But once you actually walk into the water, there were a lot of rocks, which made getting in a little rough in some spots. And unfortunately, when I visited, the seaweed situation was BAD. I know that depends heavily on the season and nature, not necessarily the resort itself, but it definitely impacted the beach experience during my stay. Overall, I think this resort is best for travelers who care more about location, walkability, social atmosphere, and having an easy fun vacation than having a super upscale luxury resort experience. If you’re expecting a perfect beachfront all-inclusive with amazing food and ultra-modern everything, you may leave disappointed. But if you want a reasonably priced adults-only resort in the heart of Playa del Carmen where you can relax, drink by the pool, and easily explore the area around you, Wyndham Alltra does that really well.

The entertainment team has been phenomenal. David, Carlos and Jenica have made our week so fun! Great mix of participation without being obnoxious. One of the best teams we've seen in a while (and we do one or two all inclusives a year) Bar staff is super responsive. Huge thanks to Jaime and Sebastian! They increased our enjoyment of this resort and are invaluable assets. We got a great deal on a standard room so knew what we were getting into (and we're hardly in the room) but the room is incredibly dark, think inside cabin on a cruise ship. Our relatives have a balcony room and the difference is significant. Definitely the worst room we've stayed in at an all inclusive. However housekeeping was great, room was clean, bed was comfy just dim lighting, no windows that you can open and small. If you come here complaining about the beach you've read zero reviews. There is minimal beach and what chairs they have at the north beach, near the beach bar, none have umbrellas. However they probably have 40-50 chairs out there so it's not non-existent. Sargassum in this area is heavy right now so no swimming in the water at this time. Would come back for the staff. Had a great week

Here’s a rewritten version that keeps the same points but uses fresh wording so you can post it elsewhere without sounding like a copy: ⸻ We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back. What stood out most was the staff—they were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel special. Before our trip, I was a little worried after reading reviews about the sargassum, beach, and other complaints. In reality, none of those things affected our vacation. Sargassum is unavoidable during the summer, but the resort works hard to keep its beach as clear as possible. The beach itself is on the smaller side and has some rocky areas, but there are also stretches of soft sand, comfortable cabanas, swings, and a beach bar. We never noticed any seaweed smell while we were actually on the beach. The location is excellent and made it easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. The main pool is huge, and we never had trouble finding lounge chairs. Poolside service was outstanding, with staff constantly checking on guests—even while you were in the water. The smaller pool has the swim-up bar, so it tends to be a little busier, while the main pool features a pizzeria and offers plenty of space to spread out. The sushi bar by the smaller pool was another nice touch. The bartenders learned our favorites quickly and always kept our drinks full. The entertainment team was energetic and engaging, and the silent disco ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. We also thought the room was very comfortable. Despite seeing reviews criticizing the beds, we slept well every night. We have an extremely soft bed at home, and even after having back surgery, I woke up without any discomfort. We stayed in an ocean-view room, and while you could occasionally notice the seaweed smell from the balcony, it was nowhere near as noticeable as some reviews suggested. The food was fresh, well prepared, and enjoyable. It definitely leans heavily toward American tastes, and some restaurant menus overlap, so adventurous eaters may want more variety. Still, everything we had was tasty and made in-house. One unexpected highlight? The resort’s raccoons! They’re adorable, mostly come out at night, and keep their distance from guests. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this resort to couples or adults looking for a relaxed, kid-free getaway. Passing by nearby family resorts with lots of excited children reminded us how much we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere here. Went for a 3 night stay with my husband and this place wasn’t the best. The food was disappointing, gross, and just not good. It’s very cheaply made and nothing looks fresh. The elevator was broken which they blamed on weather but I don’t know. The pool was very nice and the servers were eh okay. They seemed annoyed that they had to work outside. The drinks were decent. The pizza place was actually really good but they’re only open for lunch basically. The entertainment was LAME and very loud which whatever but if it was good which is was not lol they also have a guy around the pool all day trying to get you to take pictures and obviously pay for them. Kind of annoying. There’s no beach access which is okay but still kind of boring. 5th street is fun but sucks that you have to leave your all inclusive when that’s kind of the point?

I had an absolutely amazing time. Everyone was professional, the food was excellent! I was especially treated with professionalism by Jesus in making reservations for excursions and helping with awesome recommendations. He made sure I was calm and I did not have to worry about details. The breakfast buffet was great and Jose Luis provided exceptional service at the restaurant. I looked forward to going there every day. Thank you for a wonderful getaway. As a solo traveler, I highly recommend!

Alexandra and Nubia Dzul at the Buffet beach were awesome. Very nice with a warm welcome. They took care of my family several times throughout our stay and were amazing every time. The resort is awesome a well. Clean and welcoming. The pools are large and accommodating for everyone. This is our second time at this resort and I will be recommending this resort to all my friends and family.

I had a great experience at the Buffet. The service was professional, the team was friendly, and everything was handled efficiently from start to finish. They communicated clearly, delivered what was promised, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I appreciate their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. I would definitely recommend the Buffet to anyone looking for reliable service and look forward to using them again. thanks to Luis and Miguel for the excellent service.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant tonight. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to our waitress, Alejandra. She was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Her great service made our dinner even more enjoyable. Thank you, Alejandra, and the whole team! We really appreciated everything and would be happy to come back again.

My recent stay at Barceló Maya Beach in Playa del Carmen was nothing short of phenomenal. This was my second time visiting—my first was in 2024 for a wedding, and this return trip, from May 22 to May 28, was to celebrate my 50th birthday with friends and family. I can truly say this experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I checked in to the day I checked out, everything was seamless and welcoming. I stayed in the Premium Level, where I had the pleasure of meeting two amazing staff members, Stephany and Marianna. They were consistently supportive, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout my stay. Coordinating a group of 24 guests can be challenging, but the staff made it feel effortless. Every guest was greeted with warm smiles and refreshing welcome drinks, setting the tone for an incredible experience. The level of hospitality at this resort is truly top-tier. I would like to give special recognition to Arturo Salgado and Julio Castellanos They are both managers whom exemplify excellence in customer service. Their entire management team exemplifies outstanding service. A heartfelt thank you as well to my event planner, Christian Mendoza whose dedication and attention to detail helped bring my birthday celebration to life. With the support of Natalie and the team, they created an unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever. From the restaurants, La Trattoria and the Mexican restaurant were all excellent. The lunch Resturant at Captain Morgan, and Maya Tropical breakfast spot, and others were wonderful accommodations our large party . To every staff member we encountered, everyone played a role in making this celebration so special. The resort grounds were always clean, beautifully maintained, and inviting. We also enjoyed dining at both the Italian and Mexican restaurants, which were excellent and accommodating for our group. Every detail, from service to atmosphere, was exceptional. To Ron in the Transportation Department thanks for organizing my guest list airport travel. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to have shared this milestone birthday with such wonderful people at such an amazing resort. Finally a special heart felt thank You to Estheer Morales who helped me through this journey. Your kindness and compassion and customer service makes Barceló Maya Beach truly holds a special place in my heart, and I look forward to returning again.

I loved the activities by the pool. The entertainment did a great job keeping everyone involved and engaged with the dances and workouts. Everything is very accessible, either by walking or catching the bus that rides through the resort. The buffet area is very clean and provides great food! Laura, Miguel, and Cecilio are some of the servers I truly enjoyed having in the buffet when I was in attendance. They were very helpful by providing drinks and they always kept our table clear whenever we were done with our plates! I truly enjoyed this resort!!

Overall decent stay if you are coming just to do nothing but will get boring after day two. Beach view was beautiful. Not much to do. Good place for kids. All the pools are kid friendly. No entertainment for kids apart from the daycare activity but one parent has to stay at all times. So not really helpful. Food was good at Rosatto and sea by brasa. Market place buffet good for a day or two. Kids liked ice cream and coffee shop was good. Mexicano restaurant not that great. A lot of the menus are excluded from all inclusive part so that is bummer given you are already spending so much for the all inclusive stay. Didn’t provide any information that la ceviche restaurant was under renovation and closed. No information that afternoon lunch was being served at sea by brasa because la cheviche was closed. Bar tenders all of them were really nice. Special shout out to servers at Rosatto including Caesar, Pedro and another name I can’t remember. Room service prompt. But downsides: too much soliciting to get membership, spa treatment, no direction or signs much for people to know where to go, no updated information of which day what restaurant is open ( only posted the day of not ahead of time), most live music or dj or whatever is in lobby bar which is adults only entry. Construction in the front and by the pool. No one at the pools comes around asking for anything. Arrogant front lady named maggy at the marketplace buffet discriminating against us for sure because I watched her behavior towards us and towards others for three days. Heavily liked by locals it seems like. Not sure if we will stay here again.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and honestly, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels relaxing, luxurious, and incredibly well designed. The facilities are beautifully maintained, the rooms are modern, comfortable, and offer spectacular views. The staff service was one of the highlights — always attentive, friendly, and making the stay feel truly special. The food was delicious, the common areas were spotless, and the overall experience was perfect whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or with family. This is definitely one of those places worth visiting at least once. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing hotel with a memorable experience, I highly recommend it. I would absolutely come back again.

We have traveled to many destinations around the world, but this was the first time we experienced such genuinely friendly and welcoming staff along with such amazing food. The Italian restaurant was outstanding—every single dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The 24-hour room service was also excellent and made our stay even more comfortable. My entire family couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything was. We had an unforgettable, happy vacation and made so many great memories together. When we come back to Cancun, we will definitely stay at Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun again. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for exceptional service, delicious food, and a truly relaxing vacation.

We had a very relaxing vacation at this hotel. While the property is not new or modern, it is well maintained, and what truly makes the experience special is the amazing staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and there were plenty of options to choose from every day. We also really enjoyed the pool entertainment—it was fun without being overwhelming, and the music selection was excellent. It created a great atmosphere throughout the day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming back for another relaxing vacation. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so enjoyable!

This is an amazing resort. All inclusive with good food, gorgeous beach, and wonderful entertainment. It's very well maintained and clean. Staff are the best...shout out to Jonathan and Ariel in entertainment...possibly the happiest and hardest workers around. Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing birthday weekend! Lilly our pool butler is FANTASTIC. She always makes sure to take care of us with our poolside cabanas. She decorated our cabana this year with a birthday theme and it was sooooo cute! Dulce was our yacht concierge and she made our stay more special than ever. She even decorated our room which was beautiful. The service we received on our yacht trip was one of the best ever. Dulce didn’t miss one detail. I can’t thank these two enough for making my birthday weekend so memorable!

This was an excellent place to vacation. You just need to prepare yourself. For topless bathing suit optional on the women by the pool area. The service was amazing, very sexy atmosphere, romantic for couples even better. If you can upgrade to premium. There are quiet areas, but it's also definitely a party atmosphere..

My partner and I recently stayed at Temptation Resort, and we had an unforgettable experience. The resort has an incredible atmosphere, and there's always something fun going on, especially at night. One of our favorite experiences was having dinner at SHE. It was so much more than just a restaurant—the dinner show was absolutely amazing! The performances, music, and overall production made it one of the best nights of our trip. It was entertaining from beginning to end, and we loved every minute of it. The nightly shows around the resort were also fantastic and kept everyone engaged. We were lucky enough to meet Dany Boy, one of the Playmakers, and he honestly made our vacation even better. He spent time dancing with my partner and me, made us feel welcome, and always had a smile on his face. He has an amazing personality and knows how to get everyone involved.

The Bottom Line: If you are strictly looking for an uninhibited, "adults-only party vibe," Temptation delivers. If you expect true luxury, seamless service, or a relaxing beach vacation, look elsewhere. The "Dealbreakers" (Service & Room Issues) The Check-In Disaster: A one-hour wait followed by being assigned a room with literally no furniture is an unacceptable baseline for a resort claiming luxury status. The Downgrade: After waiting hours and battling with Expedia, being placed in a partial ocean view room when you paid for a full ocean view is a bait-and-switch. The "Concierge" Trap: Renaming high-pressure timeshare salespeople as "concierges" is a predatory tactic. Forcing a 2.5-hour pitch by plying you with shots, only to turn cold and rude when you say no, ruins the hospitality experience. The Expedia Letdown: It is incredibly frustrating that Expedia wouldn't support a transfer when the hotel literally failed to provide a functional, furnished room. The Resort & Amenities The Beach (or lack thereof): The marketing pictures are misleading. The actual beach footprint is tiny/nonexistent. The Pool (The Saving Grace): Large, lively, and genuinely fun. This is where the resort actually matches its party reputation. Service here was decent but not standout. 🍽️ Food & The "All-Inclusive" Illusion Nickeled and Dimed: True luxury all-inclusives include premium liquor and decent wine. Being restricted to bottom-shelf well liquor and facing constant upcharges for basic upgrades completely kills the "all-inclusive" value proposition. The Food: Mediocre, Americanized, and uninspired. For someone who travels often, the constant hustling and peddling make it impossible to actually relax.

Wow! This has been the must fun I've had any resort. We were about worried at first because after we booked it sounded like the is a club for people that are into the "lifestyle." It ended being some of the most fun down to earth people and we met so many friends that were just like us. We never felt uncomfortable at all. It went so well I proposed to my future wife and it had a lot to do with how absolutely incredible the staff was and how much fun they made it. If it wasn't for romeo we would never gotten these incredible reservations because we didn't know how it worked. We went to an awesome little spot on the beach called Sea fit and they made it so special! Giovanni and Alani were so accommodating and even brought out the cutest dessert with our names and congrats. The whole staff clapped and congratulated us. 10 out of 10 and im sorry im forgetting the name at the front desk that was also incredible but if I can grab his name I'll update my post!!!
