Had an amazing birthday weekend! Lilly our pool butler is FANTASTIC. She always makes sure to take care of us with our poolside cabanas. She decorated our cabana this year with a birthday theme and it was sooooo cute! Dulce was our yacht concierge and she made our stay more special than ever. She even decorated our room which was beautiful. The service we received on our yacht trip was one of the best ever. Dulce didn’t miss one detail. I can’t thank these two enough for making my birthday weekend so memorable!

The Bottom Line: If you are strictly looking for an uninhibited, "adults-only party vibe," Temptation delivers. If you expect true luxury, seamless service, or a relaxing beach vacation, look elsewhere. The "Dealbreakers" (Service & Room Issues) The Check-In Disaster: A one-hour wait followed by being assigned a room with literally no furniture is an unacceptable baseline for a resort claiming luxury status. The Downgrade: After waiting hours and battling with Expedia, being placed in a partial ocean view room when you paid for a full ocean view is a bait-and-switch. The "Concierge" Trap: Renaming high-pressure timeshare salespeople as "concierges" is a predatory tactic. Forcing a 2.5-hour pitch by plying you with shots, only to turn cold and rude when you say no, ruins the hospitality experience. The Expedia Letdown: It is incredibly frustrating that Expedia wouldn't support a transfer when the hotel literally failed to provide a functional, furnished room. The Resort & Amenities The Beach (or lack thereof): The marketing pictures are misleading. The actual beach footprint is tiny/nonexistent. The Pool (The Saving Grace): Large, lively, and genuinely fun. This is where the resort actually matches its party reputation. Service here was decent but not standout. 🍽️ Food & The "All-Inclusive" Illusion Nickeled and Dimed: True luxury all-inclusives include premium liquor and decent wine. Being restricted to bottom-shelf well liquor and facing constant upcharges for basic upgrades completely kills the "all-inclusive" value proposition. The Food: Mediocre, Americanized, and uninspired. For someone who travels often, the constant hustling and peddling make it impossible to actually relax.

Our room was fairly average—more in line with a 3-star hotel, especially since we had a garden view. That said, the housekeeping services were consistently good. The property markets itself as all-inclusive, but in reality, there’s a strong class system across almost every aspect of the experience. Having stayed at multiple all-inclusive resorts, this isn’t how it’s typically done. It’s understandable to have a few exclusive perks for VIP guests, but here it feels like nearly everything is tiered. Be prepared for frequent sales pitches for long-term membership plans (up to 25 years) at extremely high prices, which can feel intrusive. Some staff members were genuinely kind and helpful, but overall, the service didn’t reflect the relaxed, inclusive vibe you’d expect from an all-inclusive resort. The nightly performances felt repetitive—essentially the same format each night with minor variations in costumes. Food was particularly disappointing for vegetarians, with very limited and underwhelming options. In one instance, the sunflower seeds in the asparagus soup at the restaurant “She” were rancid. The poolside setup also reflects the same class divide, with restricted seating areas that aren’t accessible to all guests—something I haven’t experienced at other resorts. It would be much better if they created a separate, smaller pool area specifically for VIP guests instead of segmenting shared spaces so heavily. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations for an all-inclusive resort.

Third time here and love the staff at Sultra restaurant the most (Christian Reyes, Juan Tee and Jones). Very attentive and remembered my drink order. The food is fantastic and I never needed a reservation to go there. Treated with respect being alone and its definitely my preferred spot. Pool and beach volleyball 🏐 😎 🤗 Theme nights are fun to dress up for. Security and bar staff are respectful and helpful. Chac-Chi Massage On the Beach, you’ll enjoy a truly amazing time. $45 for 1hr. $65 Jet Ski for 30 min and for para-gliding. This resort is a party resort. Its noisy no matter where you are lol

I feel obligated to warn others about my experience. We attended a sales presentation and purchased a membership package for $16,200 after being subjected to high pressure sales tactics while alcohol was being served. We were promised exclusive pricing, a complimentary cruise, and responsive concierge service. Unfortunately, our experience has been the complete opposite. We repeatedly attempted to book the promised cruise but were left on hold for hours or unable to get assistance. We also discovered that the “exclusive member pricing” was often no better and sometimes worse than rates we found ourselves through Expedia and other travel sites. When we realized the membership was not what had been represented and requested to cancel, we were simply told that refunds were not available because of the contract, despite our concerns about the sales process and the promises that were made during the presentation. If you’re considering purchasing a membership, I strongly encourage you to do your own research, compare prices independently, and avoid making a decision on the spot. Take the contract home, read every page carefully, and don’t let anyone pressure you into a major financial commitment. This review reflects my personal experience, and I hope it helps others make an informed decision before spending thousands of dollars.
