Pure luxury. Everything from check-in to checkout is flawless. The rooms are elegantly designed with incredible Strip views. The spa is world-class. No casino which keeps it serene. The rooftop pool is intimate and beautiful. Staff anticipates your needs. If budget isn't a concern, this is the finest hotel experience on the Strip.

As a Hilton Diamond member, we decided to try this place out....wow...got a great room overlooking the strip on the 22nd floor. The curtains pull back with a flick of the switch. The room was beautifully set up with a great shower, tub and double sinks. They pay attention to detail, got us more pillows, my husband accidentally left a towel on the floor by the toilet...the next day they had a rug there...great staff and it is tucked away from the noise...no casino but located in a great spot to walk anywhere. We actually extended our stay as the bed was so comfortable, we didn't want to leave. I informed my husband that this will be the only place we stay while in Vegas...

We had a wonderful stay! I went with my friend for a girls trip and we had a great time. Great hotel, clean, staff always attentive and friendly. Location was the best, we were able to walk to everywhere we had plans to. We had breakfast and it was delicious. Edward was our waiter and was exceptional. Housekeeper Denise serviced our room and was excellent. Big thank you to Daniela and the front desk team who were able to accommodate early check in. Thank you, will definitely come back.

I’ve stayed at many Waldorf Astoria properties worldwide (Dubai, Jerusalem, NYC, Maldives, Chicago, Beverly Hills, Cancun, Amsterdam, Rome, Bangkok), so I arrived with clear expectations of the brand. This Las Vegas property, while in a good location and with some strong physical attributes, did not come close to the standard I’ve consistently experienced elsewhere. Overall, it felt more like a standard four-star hotel operating under a luxury name. Check-in came with no recognition of my Diamond status and no upgrade, and there was no gesture of appreciation in the room… no note, amenity, or welcome of any kind. Prior to arrival, my interactions with the hotel via text set an unfortunate tone: responses felt curt, defensive, and heavily policy-focused rather than guest-focused. The hotel offers a texting number for convenience, but the way it was used made the experience feel transactional and, at times, confrontational instead of welcoming. Elite benefits and “Waldorf-level” touches were largely absent. Breakfast was not included, there was no welcome gift or snack, and even a simple request like removing the minibar came with a proposed $50 fee. The daily credit structure was also poorly communicated: the $50 credit resets at midnight, which meant the first day’s credit effectively expired just a few hours after check-in. Only when I asked directly was this made clear; to their credit, the hotel granted a one-time exception, but it should never require a complaint for a guest to understand and fairly use a stated benefit. Operationally, several issues added up. Housekeeping did not consistently respect the “Do Not Disturb” indicator and entered my room anyway on multiple days, which is not acceptable at any level of hotel. The message light on the phone blinked throughout my stay, despite repeated assurances that it would be fixed. Requests for items like extra water, towels, or daily cleaning were often acknowledged with a smile but not reliably followed through. The pattern was one of polite words at the front end and weak execution on the back end. Billing and follow-through at checkout raised further concerns. The hotel had agreed not to charge the $50 minibar removal fee, yet the charge still appeared on my bill and I had to catch it after raising this same issue multiple times during the stay. Likewise, the additional $50 credit they offered for the first day was “forgotten” at checkout and only corrected when I pointed it out. It is difficult to ignore that both of these “oversights” happened to be in the hotel’s financial favor, which leaves a very uneasy impression. To be fair, there were positives: the bathroom and shower were very nice, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and once I pressed the issue, staff did eventually provide water and coffee. The location is another strong point. It’s close to the Strip and neighboring properties like Cosmopolitan and Aria, yet relatively calm and safe. However, when even a simple breakfast for one person exceeded $77 without ordering anything special like alcohol or sides. So, despite a $50 credit, it’s hard to feel that the guest is genuinely being looked after. In the end, I chose to check out early and move to other five-star hotels in Las Vegas that offered better service at a fraction of the price. This stay would have been acceptable at a normal, mid- to upper-tier hotel, but at Waldorf Astoria pricing and under the Waldorf Astoria name, it was a disappointment. With more transparent communication, genuine recognition of loyalty, accurate billing, and a renewed focus on basic hospitality and follow-through, this property could align more closely with the rest of the brand… but it is not there yet.

The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas provides a luxurious, smoke-free retreat on the bustling Strip, ideal for those seeking serenity without a casino atmosphere. Visited post-Grand Prix during low season, it offered excellent value with fewer guests and reasonable rates. Property Rooms feature sophisticated design with thoughtful details, including a valet closet for discreet laundry and ironing services, ensuring privacy for business travelers. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide impressive views of the Strip and city, complemented by comfortable bedding for restorative sleep. Wellness The spa stands out with a herbal steam room, sauna, and vitality pool—rare for a central Strip property. The eighth-floor fitness center and massive heated pool deck offer a tranquil escape, feeling private during quieter times. Dining Breakfast and lunch at Zen Kitchen deliver quality, with standout pastries among the best encountered recently, though prices are premium. Service Staff are attentive and friendly, offering warm greetings and efficient handling of needs, including prompt bell service for luggage. Verdict Highly recommended for travelers wanting upscale tranquility amid Vegas excitement, especially off-peak for strong value.
