I was a big fan of the Mandarin Oriental and had never been back since it changed to a Waldorf Astoria. That was until New Years 2026. I was surprised and impressed at how well this hotel has transitioned into a Waldorf. The rooms, the service, the spa and everything else that goes with the hotel is amazing. It’s the best place to be on the strip without being on the strip. Non gaming and non smoking is key to this vegas experience. Add to that the location to access everything else that is Vegas makes it the perfect way to do vegas and have a retreat from all that. The only downside was on our first day. We left our room for hours and hours and yet it wasn’t made up by housekeeping until we called multiple times and spent more time in the bar to let them access the room. We are talking 6pm. That was a bummer. They quickly corrected that though and the service was flawless after that. I do believe they, like many other companies, are experiencing staffing issues which I totally understand. The fact that they corrected the problem and impressed me afterwards gained my five star review. Thank you. I can’t wait to visit again.

The hotel is in a great location — right next to a shopping mall and about a 15-minute walk to the Bellagio Casino. The area is not crowded with tourists, so the atmosphere feels calm and relaxed. The pool is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall design has a refined, elegant touch. This hotel is more suited for business meetings and a quieter stay, as there is no casino inside. Because of that, it feels much more peaceful and cozy compared to hotels with casinos, which are often noisy and overloaded. The tea ceremony is also a must — it’s an important tradition of the hotel experience, and I highly recommend attending it. It adds a special touch to the stay and is definitely worth your time.

Each time I stay at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, I walk away even more impressed. The combination of an unbeatable location, delicious food, and genuinely warm, attentive service makes this property stand out above the rest. Even during an incredibly busy event weekends like Formula 1, when the hotel was at full capacity, the team still delivered flawless service. Rocio, the room attendant, greeted me warmly every day and made sure everything in my room was perfect. And Alex (Alejandro) at the Zen Café was an absolute pleasure every morning, setting a positive tone for the day. From check-in to check-out, my entire 3-day stay was seamless. Waldorf Astoria continues to raise the bar, and this is easily one of my favorite places to stay in Las Vegas. Highly recommend!

The location is great. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly, but not particularly helpful. I come to Vegas 10 times a year for work and usually stay at the Four Seasons. I prefer the Waldorf, but had a frustrating experience. I shipped items in advance of my stay and confirmed the protocols with the team. I needed these items for the marketing event I was hosting, so it was stressful when nothing arrived. Every day, I checked with front desk in the morning and in the evening. They kept saying they did not have anything. I reached out to the hotel after my stay and they were able to find my packages in a matter of minutes. The hotel manager Ozzy said he would be sure to review protocols with the staff, suggesting that perhaps protocols were not followed. He then asked me if I wanted to charge my room to ship the items back with me. I found that more appalling - I had confirming the shipping protocols in advance, paid $200 to ship these items 2day UPS so that they would arrive in time, checked in daily to try to locate the packages, and then have to pay more to return the packages that they could not locate during my stay? Just on principle, that didn’t sit well with me.

In City Center at the heart of the strip, the Waldorf Astoria is a true gem. Gorgeous hotel, beautiful expansive rooms, exceptional service and very good f&b offerings. The spa is very nice, with plenty of thermal features and a whirlpool that overlooks the strip. Services are on par with a luxury hotel, well worth taking a day away from the bustling activity outside. One caveat: this is not a gaming hotel, but Aria is adjacent to the property. I appreciate the fact that there is no casino there, as it reinforces the hotel's poshness and exclusivity. Will definitely stay at the Waldorf again.
