The value for money at this resort is truly amazing! Before arriving, I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, especially since this was our honeymoon — but it turned out we made the perfect choice. We’re not the kind of travelers who care too much about fancy accommodation, as we usually spend our days swimming and exploring, but Vista Sol really exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the animation team keeps the energy up all day — they’re young, fun, and super friendly. Food is available all day long, always fresh and varied. The beach is peaceful, and the resort itself is beautifully maintained — clean, green, and full of charm. You’ll even see ducks and peacocks wandering around, which makes the whole atmosphere even more special. The pools and bars are open all day, and everything you need is easily accessible. Yes, the rooms are a bit older, but for this price, that’s not something I can really complain about. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with a great balance of price and quality, I absolutely recommend Vista Sol!

The resort was lovely, lots of great places to take pictures, a little wildlife, kid friendly without being overwhelmingly full of screaming kids. If I got up early I'd have the beach almost to myself until 8or 9 am and even when it was full I'd find a chair. The rooms were clean, though they did suffer from the humid atmosphere, there was a little rust and wear in the bathroom and one pillow had a mildew smell, but nothing that ruined the trip, were were there for the beach not the room. The water was clear until it rained, then there was a little seaweed. The waves were mild and the sand was soft. Lots of rinsing stations. We went during hurricane Melissa but there was only one rainy day, major storms tend to pass by the DR. The AC in the rooms is very strong and makes a nice white noise screen for early sleepers not to be disturbed by resort noises. It did make us wish for extra blankets, which weren't available. Luckily we brought sweaters for the evening. One drawback is there are some very aggressive sellers. There was a day where there were vendors in the resort, and they went to shake my hand, then grabbed it and started putting bracelets on me. If they stood back I would have been happy to browse and maybe purchase but the aggressive selling was a turn off. There were lots of sellers on the beach as well but they were more open to a polite no, and didn't bother me when I was reading. We had to use the medical facility once, delicate stomach couldn't be avoided. They charged $150 USD for a consultation, and the whole visit was exorbitantly overpriced. $400 USD just for medicine that worked like gravol. Luckily we had travel insurance which covered the visit. The food was good, we loved the Mexican restaurant, there's only like an hour between 10-11 am where no food is available. We didn't catch too many of the evening shows, but the ones we did catch were chatming. We also went during Halloween and despite it not being a big holiday in the DR they decorated the whole resort and did a Michael Jackson/Thriller tribute in the evening Overall a good trip

I had a wonderful experience, the resort has a beautiful beachfront, lovely gardens, and a relaxed Caribbean vibe that makes it easy to disconnect and enjoy every moment. The rooms are comfortable, the entertainment team keeps the atmosphere lively, and the food options are varied and satisfying. What truly made our stay memorable was the staff’s warmth and dedication, always smiling, helpful, and attentive. Their service goes beyond expectations and adds a special touch to the whole experience. A great value for anyone looking for a fun, tropical, and welcoming getaway in Punta Cana!

Terrible experience – disrespectful staff We had one of the worst experiences ever at Vista Sol Bávaro. The staff was completely disrespectful — we arrived properly in our transport and they refused to let us in, forcing us to walk with our things under the sun. Their attitude was rude and unwelcoming from the start. This is not the kind of place anyone should spend their vacation or money on. There are so many better hotels in Punta Cana where guests are actually treated with respect. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Stayed 7 nights with my wife and 3 year old and the whole experience was great. Everything is walking distance, from your room to the beach, the pools, the food, everything is right there. Friendly staff and clean amenities. We enjoyed the place very much and my son did too, the child care staff were very kind. We wanted to stay more time at this resort. Great place for a vacation
