TAN Resorts Marina Cap Cana All-Inclusive

We had a great time at this excellent all inclusive resort, which is now called TAN . Everything was great . The service was excellent. My friend is disabled. So for that reason, everyone helped us get around the property. Otherwise you have to walk or rent a golf cart which I am sure is quite expensive. The pool is very nice; Juanito beach is beautiful for lounging but less so for swimming because of the sargasso seaweed. The most helpful people were the drivers Nicolas and Felix. At the beach Dairis was very helpful. The food was not quite as good as some cruises; it was more Dominican than continental, and we ended up wasting a lot of food. There is a large buffet for breakfast and lunch and 2 night is 5 we could eat for free at La Bambino Italian Restaurant. All in all, well worth what we paid Monster for a very relaxing vacation. The weather in late May was fabulous.

We were very impressed either the staff at the Tan Resort. From the minute we arrived, Maria took care of us. We were here for relaxation and food. The pool was amazing and Dottie & Belin kept us entertained. Francisco made sure food and service was top notch. The bar staff was great! Darlin was our favorite bartender! Recommend this resort for their staff and relaxing atmosphere.

We had an amazing stay at TAN Resorts Marina Cap Cana — one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Cap Cana, Punta Cana. The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful lagoon views, and a very relaxing атмосфера. Everything is designed for a stress-free and enjoyable vacation. What truly made this experience exceptional was the staff. They helped me organize a surprise birthday for my husband, and everything was arranged perfectly. It turned into the best birthday of his life. A special thank you to Maria for her outstanding support and attention to every detail. If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in Punta Cana with excellent service, I highly recommend this resort.

Had a great time at this location. Food was great. Service was excellent. Love the people. Met all our needs. A very “handle whatever you need to be happy” situation. Alcohol selection was solid. Rums especially. Jose handled all the entertainment and was hilarious at all times. You feel like you’re finally on a vacation after listening to him. Sandy was our favorite waiter. Can’t say enough about the staff. Good vibes. Relax, and let go. Way a vacation should be.

My experience was just ok. At checkin, we found out that since my son turned 13 during our stay, that we would have to pay an additional $360. We reached out to Monster, who we made reservations with, and they offered to cover the cost for us. This all happened on a Saturday during checkin. Over the next few days, the concierge and front desk staff would tell us that we need to pay. We insisted that the issue was already resolved. So during our stay, we constantly had to go back and forth between the resort staff and Monster about this billing issue. Well it turned out that Monster reached out to the resort on Saturday (the day everything happened) to let them know to bill Monster, but the resort never opened the email. So this issue could've been resolved the same day, instead of us having our trip interrupted, if the resort checked their email. On Monday, we chose to rent a golf cart. One of the men at the front desk took us to a gift shop where they also rented golf carts. The red one we got drove funny from the beginning, and when we mentioned it to the man at the gift shop, he insisted that everything was fine. We attempted to drive it to the beach, but barely got halfway because it broke down. We were stranded for about an hour, when help finally came with a replacement. We drove the replacement back to the shop. We explained that we didn't want the replacement and would like a refund. Of course he stated that he couldn't process a refund since I didn't pay with cash. The experience was horrible since I rented the golf cart for my kids to enjoy, but with it breaking down on the side of the road, when it was hot and we're in another country, was so disappointing. I wouldn't stay at this resort again for several reasons. Even though the pictures are nice online, our room seemed really outdated, though very spacious. The staff at the resort was not welcoming or accommodating (not all but most), but all of the restaurant staff was amazing (including the bartenders)! Expect people to try and hustle you and try to sell you stuff pretty often. The sales presentation went over 90 mins which is when I became agitated. They just care to get their sell. I would like to visit the DR again, but definitely stay at a different resort that's hopefully updated, bigger property, and much more amenities and things to do onsite.
