We stayed at Trinco Blu by Cinnamon for three nights, and our experience was very enjoyable—well above our expectations. The location is fantastic, right on the beautiful beach of Uppuveli. The pool is wonderful, the rooms overlook the beach, and the resort is just a short walk from several lovely beach front restaurants, making it a perfect place to spend relaxing evenings. The staff were genuinely kind, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mahesh, who looked after us during breakfast and made every morning even more enjoyable with his excellent service. We stayed in one of the Standard Rooms on the second floor, and unfortunately they are not quite up to the standard of the rest of the resort. The rooms feel rather basic and a little dated. The biggest disappointment, however, was the cleanliness, which is the main reason we cannot give this property the highest rating. When we arrived, the floor was covered with dust and several long black hairs in different areas of the room. In addition, the corridor leading to the rooms feels more like an old hospital than a beach resort and could definitely be improved. From what we saw, the Beach Chalets located directly on the beach are of a much higher standard. Unfortunately, they were fully booked during our stay. Finally, I would also suggest improving the breakfast. While the quality was good, the selection for a continental breakfast was quite limited. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily return, especially for the beautiful location, the stunning beach, and the exceptional hospitality of the staff.

Stayed at Trinco Blue in June with some friends which was a wonderful experience. All the staff here are so helpful and friendly (Mahesh, Ravi and Avishka - thank you!) Room has a balcony that overlooks the pool and beachfront. There’s also pool table and volleyball available. We were half board and there was a large selection of food so there’s something for everyone, including traditional Sri Lankan food which was delicious! Would definitely come back and stay here again !

​We just completed a fantastic 5-night family holiday at Trinco Blu Cinnamon, and it was a great experience overall. ​The resort has a great beachfront location with incredible views. Our rooms were good—very comfortable, neat, and well-designed for a relaxing stay. ​What really made our trip special was the great service. The entire team was incredibly welcoming and attentive to our family throughout the stay. ​Highly recommended for a family getaway in Trincomalee. We had a wonderful time!

We had an amazing stay at Trinco Blu! The hotel is beautiful, the beach is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful. We especially loved the beach bars and the great service throughout our stay. The food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The beach and pool areas were beautiful and relaxing, making our vacation truly memorable.
