If you fancy venturing out, you’ll find restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk, and more as you keep walking along the coast. The historic city of Galle is within easy reach of Hikka Tranz, just 20km away. This area of Sri Lanka is a great destination for seeing some wonderful wildlife. The hotel can provide a number of experiences and excursions during your stay, including whale watching (October to April), diving and nature walks amongst many others.

The Crab

We had a wonderful experience during our stay with our family. The entire hotel team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. A special mention goes to the staff for the patience and kindness they showed towards my grandfather, which meant a lot to our family. We were truly touched by their hospitality and care. We would also like to thank Deegayu and Sampath from the main restaurant for their exceptional service. They were always friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. My wife and I visited this property on the 5th of June to celebrate our first anniversary, and we had a wonderful stay. Positive: The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary cake and beautiful room decorations, which made our anniversary celebration even more special. I would especially like to thank a few team members who made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived until check-out, Ms. Vishmi was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always greeted us with a beautiful smile. Mr. Madusanka and Ms. Renuka were also very kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thanks to the rest of the team as well. Although I don’t know everyone’s names, every staff member we interacted with was courteous and friendly. Thank you for the excellent hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again soon. Negative: I had to wear slippers inside the room, as there were sand particles on the floor from the moment we arrived.

As usual, Cinnamon Hotels never disappoint us. The hotel is quite old, in fact it’s one of the older properties but it offers great value for money. The food is excellent, and the staff are very helpful, polite, and attentive. The beach in this area is among the best, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.
