From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. A special thank you to Ms. Dilakshi at the reception for her kindness and support. The location is beautiful, and the hotel is extremely kid-friendly—our 2-year-old had so much fun and truly enjoyed every moment. The room was spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The food was absolutely superb, with a wide variety and incredible taste—truly beyond words. This was our third stay at a Cinnamon Hotel, and once again they exceeded our expectations with their genuine Sri Lankan hospitality, excellent service, and outstanding food. We had a relaxing and memorable stay as a family. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 2 days at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and pleasant, with perfect customer service. The hitel atmosphere was truly eye-catching, and the food was delicious with a huge variety at both lunch and dinner buffets. The rooms were very clean, spacious and relaxing. It was far beyond our expectations. A special thanks to Mr.Sampath and Mr.Samith for their exceptional service.

This is our 5th year in a row visiting Sri Lanka, so we've seen a lot — both good and bad. This time we arrived as a big family of seven, including a wheelchair user, and we’ve been genuinely impressed. The service and staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help. A huge plus: the pool is fully wheelchair-accessible. There are two paths to the beach: • One is just a minute away and takes you to a spot with turtles, waves, and corals. • The second leads to a calmer area without big waves — perfect for people with limited mobility. We’ve already spent 10 days here and still have another 10 to enjoy. Very happy we chose this place. P.S. There are two great restaurants nearby — one with excellent fresh fish and another Italian place with great pizza. The best part? You can order from both at the same time, so everyone gets what they want. Highly recommend — 100%.

We had an unforgettable stay at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with warm smiles and excellent service. A special mention goes to Mr. Pubudu from the reception team, who was extremely friendly, active and attentive from the very beginning. He assisted us with our luggage, ensured our check-in and Check-out was smooth, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. His service truly set the tone for a great experience. Our rooms exceeded expectations - spacious, spotless, and beautifully arranged, with a large comfortable bed and all required amenities. The highlight was definitely the huge ocean-facing balcony, giving us breathtaking sunrise views and the relaxing sound of waves throughout the day. The location is absolutely perfect. The hotel has direct access to Turtle Beach, where we were lucky enough to see sea turtles up close. A beautiful coral reef stretches right in front of the property, making the beach area even more special. The surroundings are peaceful, calm, and great for travellers looking for relaxation as well as adventure. We spent a lot of time by the pool as well — large, clean, and overlooking the ocean. It was the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the breeze. Food was another highlight of our stay. The buffet was excellent with a huge variety, including Sri Lankan favourites and international dishes. Everything we tried was fresh, flavourful, and well prepared. The restaurant itself is large, clean, and well organized, allowing a very comfortable dining experience. We want to give a special mention to Mr. Yomal and Mr. Nadeesh from the restaurant team. They were outstanding, friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to take care of us. Their professionalism, warm personalities, and willingness to assist made every meal enjoyable. We genuinely appreciate their service. Overall, Hikka Tranz offers a beautiful blend of comfort, nature, and true Sri Lankan hospitality. Calm ambiance, stunning views, delicious food, and amazing staff, everything you look for in a beach getaway. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended to anyone planning a trip down south! 🌺🌊✨

Brilliant hotel. We had a great experience, here are our reflections.... Pro's..... - Staff were brilliant, so helpful, humble and friendly. Our room steward 'Madushanka' was brilliant, a real credit to the hotel! - The gardens were immaculate and we loved the pool and all the parrots that came to roost at night. - The food was superb. Lots of choice, well cooked and lots of flavour. - Plenty to do with e.g. swimming, gym, squash, badminton, music etc.. - location is great Con's.... - Some of the rooms are a bit dated and could do with some renovation - The check in staff need to remind all guests at check in that they shouldn't touch the sea turtles. There is one small sign, but far too many people disturbing the turtles. The hotel could do a better job of reminding guests. So my overall impression is that it's a very good 4 star hotel which needs a bit of money spent on it. However, we would definitely stay again as it's worth the cost and will recommend to others.
