An amazing place, whether you want a comfortable base or simply somewhere to relax and unwind. The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk to the town of Bang Naing and also conveniently close to the beach. The staff are exceptionally friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay special. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast package with a swim-up pool, which was fantastic. The breakfast selection was extensive and catered to all tastes, offering everything from traditional Thai dishes to a full Western-style breakfast. I had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making me feel at home straight away. The room was beautifully presented—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail clearly considered. The staff were incredibly attentive and extremely kind, always going above and beyond to help with anything I needed. The facilities exceeded expectations, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was both relaxing and luxurious. Everything ran seamlessly, and any requests were handled quickly and professionally. It’s rare to find a place that delivers such consistently high standards across service, comfort, and experience. I would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience.

Had a lovely 7 night stay at the waters. Our first impressions was a nice clean hotel. Our room had a beautiful swim up area. Sun shone from 8am all the way through the day. Not far from reception and bar. Room service was used several times. Maids were very good, leaving plenty of water and other items. Bed was comfortable and cleaned daily. Definitely would stop again.

Loving staying at the Waters! We originally had an upstairs room over one of the pools, but upgraded to a grounds floor room with direct access to the water from our patio area. The rooms are clean (and well cleaned daily - loving the artistic towel animals from the maid!!) and spacious with great bathrooms. Breakfast is good and they have special order sheets with options for vegetarians and gluten free. It is central to Bang Niang with loads of restaurants and bars within easy walking, as is the night market. Really recommend!

Firstly, my booking was through booking.com. I’m a solo traveller and I booked the waters as it’s a sister hotel to the Little Shore. But sadly there are zero similarities. I used the ‘contact the hotel’ button a day prior to arrival to request a transfer from a local hotel. To which no one bothered to reply. I booked a pool access room but was told the pool closed at 7pm (I checked in at 7pm). The room was tidy but there were ants on all the surfaces. And from the moment I walked into the room I felt as though I was being bitten all over by tiny bugs. This stopped the moment I left. I called reception to ask for info about the markets but she sent the bellboy to take me to reception. Here I was told the markets are too far to walk and a taxi would be there in 10 mins. I’d previously researched this and found the conflicting info a bit odd. Especially the taxi being 10 mins away as they are everywhere. I’m assuming she knew the particular driver as she quoted me before he arrived. Whenever I use public transport in areas I’ve not been before, I always use maps to verify the route. In this case I had no idea where he was taking me, but using maps I watched as the driver went so far out of the way then doubled back again before dropping me off. What should have been 4 mins took 12-13 mins. I would’ve walked!! It appears as though she gets a cut of the extra money charged. After that I lost faith in the taxi drivers and had to walk another 30 mins at night to get to my next destination.Very disappointing experience. Glad I’ve booked private transfers out. The 2 stars are for the pool. It looks inviting, but it’s closed so I can’t say for sure. I definitely know I won’t be returning nor recommending The Waters resort.
