Very disappointing experience. Upon our arrival, we found the room to be in a very poor and unclean condition. There was a large gap above the room door, allowing numerous mosquitoes to enter the room—we counted around 20 mosquitoes inside. In addition, the bed was not clean, there were small insects in it, and the toilet had clearly not been cleaned properly. We have photographic evidence of all these issues. We reported everything to the hotel staff immediately. They were friendly and assured us that we would receive a refund. Unfortunately, despite this promise, we have still not received any reimbursement. Instead, the responsibility has been passed around without any real resolution. What disappoints us most is not only the condition of the room, but also the way our complaint has been handled afterwards. It is unfortunate that we now feel we have to share our experience publicly, instead of having the matter resolved directly and professionally by the hotel. We genuinely hoped for a fair and straightforward solution. We hope that by sharing our experience, more attention will be drawn to this issue and no other guests have to go through the same situation. Unfortunately, this has been the most disappointing hotel experience we have ever had, and for that reason, we cannot recommend this hotel.

We booked a holiday trip and this hotel checked off many good marks! First of all, the staff was incredible friendly and helped out a lot (we had an incident that needed hospital care) and we were so grateful or their help. The location is very good! A small walk to the beach (but not a problem at all) and the main street around the corner, without it getting busy. The hotel room were nice, we had a bungalow with pool view and the only bad thing with the room was the slightly too hard bed for us. We never needed to worry about seats at the pool (there were two pools) and if there were any problems, it was mostly guests that didn't understand basic guest etiquette: Don't reserve a pool chair, it's rude. The hotel is something we really recommend for people to choose if looking for something affordable and good location.

The hotel is lovely and only a short walk of 10 minutes to the beautiful beach, the walk is totally flat too. Our room was basic but very clean. It was cleaned everyday and fresh towels. Fresh water in the room. Breakfast was okay personally I'd have like more fruit other than melon. We only used one swimming pool it was in a nice setting trees and plants.

This resort is beautiful! Very well set out, quiet & private. The staff here are amazing & super friendly. The food in their restaurant is amazing. Beach access 2 minute walk, town is only a 10 minute walk. Clean, comfortable & great value.

We have just returned from two glorious weeks staying at the Leaf. The location is perfect on the edge of the town but set back from the road. The hotel grounds are beautiful with wonderful sounds of birds and wildlife. The staff were exceptional. Everyone we saw greeted us with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fresh tasty and abundant. Rooms were large and comfortable, ours with a beautiful view of the gardens. The two pools were clean and lovely although as beach people we only used them twice. This hotel for us was perfection. There are changes coming to bring it in line with the Sands. For us this is a shame as making it bigger with more facilities will make it not a hotel we would choose in the future but as staff are being retained and the location is perfect it will be a good choice for families.
