Highlights - The food was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t realise before booking that meals are fresh and organic, and we absolutely loved the à la carte style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. - Portion sizes are on the smaller side and the food can be a little hit or miss, but we didn’t have a bad meal during our stay. - Cocktails were good. Expect simple rather than elaborate and it’s a nice touch that you can take a cool box down to the beach. - The staff are truly wonderful: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made a big difference to the overall experience. - The location is fantastic, right in Rodney Bay. There is currently a new hotel being built opposite, which didn’t impact us too much, but it can get noisy. - Rodney Bay itself is lively and busy, often late into the evening, so this is worth bearing in mind however, the hotel itself is very peaceful. Lowlights: - The pool area is very nice, although a few cushions could do with replacing however, not a major issue. - Portions are small, and while food quality is good overall, expectations should be managed if you’re used to a more traditional all-inclusive experience. - The gym and spa were closed for most of our stay. This wasn’t a big issue for us personally, but they shouldn’t be advertised if they’re not available to guests.

Our experience at Soco House was fantastic. The thing most worth mentioning is the staff - the friendliness and warmth we were treated with throughout the week was special and made us feel very welcome. Huge shoutout to the ladies in the restaurant - they made us feel very welcome and smile at each meal. Barry is the MVP when it comes to booking tours - make sure go to him for any tips you might need for planning your visit. The facilities are exactly what we expected them to be - clean and well maintained. You get new beach towels everyday, and a cooler for drinks for the beach which is just a few minute walk away. At arrival we were greeted with a glass of bubbly. Thanks again to the staff at Soco House for a remarkable stay

This resort definitely needs higher ratings! My husband and I were staying at another “fancier” resort for our honeymoon and got stuck in St. Lucia for an extra week; we found this resort and were nervous due to the overall rating (3.8 stars when we looked) but we decided to try it out and I’m so glad we did! The location is in a very nice area of rodney bay. The resort is not right on the beach, but it is literally a 2 minute walk. The beach is gorgeous and clean with beautiful views. we stayed in the base level room. It was very clean and spacious. There are definitely some improvements that could be made: there is only instant coffee in the room, no coffee maker. The showers don’t close all the way, they just have 2 panels and a completely open side so the bathroom floor literally floods every time you shower. The food was good! We only had one meal that wasn’t good, I got the red snapper at lunch and it was overcooked. But everything else we had was super good! The drinks are strong and yummy! They will give you a cooler to take to the beach and you can bring beer from the resort which is awesome. There is a beautiful pool with lots of cozy lounge chairs. There is a rooftop area that has a beautiful view as well! Lastly, this place is very affordable for st. Lucia. It’s a great value option for an all inclusive! Their staff is wonderful and friendly. We definitely recommend staying here :)

Ok, so this one is tough because there are highs and lows here… First of all, property overall is clean and looks fairly modern throughout. That being said it does have more of a motel aesthetic than a hotel, simply because of the multiple low rise buildings that comprise it. The pool area is also quite nice, not huge, but lots of chairs and daybeds around it for use. We never had an issue getting a seat. Service- Lobby is very clean and well decorated. Champagne on arrival was a nice touch! Front desk and bellhop staff was very welcoming and helpful, we arrived several hours ahead of our check in time and we were welcomed to use all facilities upon our arrival even though our room wasn’t yet prepared. Special shout out to Charles and Mikayla!! Rooms- clean and modern but very small. Some wear and tear on tiles etc, but overall nice. We also had a small balcony overlooking the pool. Be sure to get something facing the pool area as there is some construction going on around the hotel and you don’t want to face that. Shower had good pressure and towels and bedding were clean and sufficient. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable. Food- we opted for all inclusive to make things easy as it wasn’t much more $ . Food honestly wasn’t very good overall. This is where they struggled. Servers and bartenders were amazing, especially Eloise the restaurant hostess and Kenneth the bartender. The kitchen seemed to fumble on timing and things didn’t come out as listed on the menu. Overall the food quality and taste wasn't very good which made it difficult to find things to eat. but the bar service was great and if you are a drinker then it’s probably still worth it to do all inclusive, even if you eat most meals elsewhere. The small coolers that they pack for you to take to the near by beach requires an additional mention as I’ve never seen that before… nice touch! Location- walkable beach area, some small cafes and stores within walking distance, but you will likely be taking a cab to the street party or nearby attractions because of the way the traffic is routed around the marina. If you are looking for a lively party vibe then this isn’t the place for you, but if you are using it more as a home base to enjoy the surrounding Rodney Bay area of Gros Islet then this might be a good option for you. Don’t miss the street party on Friday night!!!

Very small hotel. All inclusive but the food is served rather than buffet. The food is ok (not excellent) but the waiting time for each dish, coffee, etc takes a very, very long time. With 3 meals a day you may spend half of your vacation waiting for food. The beach is extremely crowded (like in Japan) and in order to get to the beach one need to walk on the road with no sidewalks. All this costs more than twice comparing to a nice hotel on the beach elsewhere. Very disappointing.
