They especially spoiled our one-year-old with fresh fruit every morning, which was such a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert for two nights, and the experience genuinely exceeded our expectations. It is rare for us to stay at a hotel for several days without encountering even one service issue, delay, misunderstanding or small disappointment, but during our entire stay, everything was handled exceptionally well. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the team seemed to anticipate what guests might need before they even had to ask. From the moment we arrived, both check-in and check-out were quick, smooth and very well organised. Every member of staff was polite, welcoming and attentive, and many of them addressed us by name, which made the service feel personal rather than formal or scripted. Whenever we called from the villa, the phone was answered almost immediately, and every request was handled efficiently. We travelled with our four-month-old baby, and the way the team treated us as a family deserves a special mention. When we entered one of the restaurants and our baby suddenly started crying, the staff immediately arranged a separate and more private area for us. We did not have to explain anything or ask repeatedly. They simply understood the situation and made us comfortable straight away. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference and showed genuine awareness and care. Another small example perfectly demonstrates the level of attention throughout the resort. We were arriving at Zuma by buggy, and the driver noticed that I was filming the approach to the restaurant. Without me asking him to do anything, he reversed the buggy so that I could record the arrival properly. It was such a small gesture, but these are exactly the details that separate standard service from exceptional hospitality. Our villa was extremely spacious, even though we had booked one of the more standard villa categories. The size exceeded our expectations. There was a very large bedroom and living area, a spacious bathroom, a huge bathtub, a separate shower and everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The layout gives you a real sense of privacy and space, and it never feels like an ordinary hotel room. The villa was also very well maintained and properly cleaned throughout our stay. Housekeeping was reliable and thorough, and complimentary juices and other thoughtful touches were provided in the villa. Room service was also excellent. Our orders usually arrived within approximately 20 minutes, the food was presented properly, and everything arrived exactly as requested. Nothing was forgotten, which sounds simple, but is surprisingly rare in large resorts. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and very good-quality food. The buffet already offered plenty of choice, but what impressed us was that the team was also happy to prepare additional items upon request, even when they were not immediately visible on the buffet or listed in the standard selection. Most of our requests throughout the stay were accommodated without any hesitation. The food across the resort was consistently delicious. Zuma was also a fantastic addition to the experience. The restaurant, atmosphere, food and service were all excellent. Everything was served efficiently, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience matched the quality we expected. The spa was another major highlight. I have lived in the UAE since 2013 and have visited many spas and experienced a very large number of massages, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best massages I have had in the Emirates. The therapist was highly professional, the treatment was excellent, and the entire experience felt properly personalised rather than routine. The spa facilities and treatment rooms felt new, fresh, clean and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful, the service was attentive and there was nothing I could criticise. I would return to the resort for the spa experience alone.

Without question one of the most memorable luxury resort experiences I've had. From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by complete tranquility. The villas are exceptionally private, beautifully designed and blend seamlessly into the desert landscape, creating a feeling that's both luxurious and deeply connected to nature. Watching the oryx and gazelles wander past your private pool is something I'll never forget. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the people. Every interaction felt warm, genuine and personal, with a level of service that anticipated needs before I even had to ask. It's the type of hospitality that defines The Ritz-Carlton. The experiences throughout the stay were equally impressive, particularly the signature Rainforest hydrothermal journey and the desert activities, which added another dimension beyond simply staying at a beautiful hotel. This isn't just somewhere to spend the night, it's somewhere to disconnect, slow down and create lasting memories. I left feeling completely recharged and already planning my return. An outstanding property that represents luxury at its finest. Also, make sure to eat at Farmhouse - incredible!
