2nd time @ The Fortress. Staff are amazing. Special compliments to Chef Danushka to makes very delicious chocolate cake and Managers Gayan and Madusha who looked after us. We had two beach facing rooms right by the pool, which were excellently serviced twice daily. Breakfasts were great. Dinner service was a bit slow last night , but Danushka made up for it with the chocolate cake this morning and Gayan expertly handled my concerns.

We chose the resort to celebrate my birthday on the 27th, and the team made the occasion even more special with a thoughtful surprise. When we entered our room after breakfast on the 27th, we were delighted to find it beautifully decorated, with an elegant floral arrangement on the bed accompanied by a heartfelt birthday greeting. It was a wonderful surprise that touched us deeply and made the celebration truly unforgettable. Our sincere thanks to the team for such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we were impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of every member of the staff. Their smiling faces and friendly attitude made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained. The rooms were very clean , comfortable, and kept to high standards. The swimming pool area was very clean , and its unique location right beside the beach created the perfect setting to relax and unwind. We particularly enjoyed spending the evenings on the hotel’s tranquil lawn, listening to the soothing sound of the waves while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. It was a truly peaceful and unforgettable experience.
