We stayed for 6 days and I’m usually super finicky and ocd when I stay at hotels this long but surprisingly I did not feel this way about Edition. The hotel rooms are super clean, minimalist and to the point. They have everything you need and it’s very well designed. My only criticism is - a mirror would have been nice! I kept asking the staff but they were not able to arrange for one. The staff at the breakfast hotel specially Niten and Rami were so accommodating and lovely, they went out of their way to get me this detox drink I asked for. They made it feel like home and we looked forward to having breakfast downstairs every day. They were super helpful and the staff was just genuinely lovely to talk to.

I had high expectations for this hotel, especially given the reputation of the Edition brand, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The staff were welcoming and polite, however, the level of service did not match what I would expect from a luxury hotel. We had deliveries arrive at the hotel that were left in the lobby without anyone informing us, which was inconvenient and unexpected. The in-room dining was also below standard and was one of the most disappointing room service experiences I’ve had despite staying at many hotels around the world. We booked one of the highest room categories to enjoy a premium experience, but the room itself was not up to standard. The carpet had visible stains, the room felt dark, and the bed linens did not smell fresh. Housekeeping was another major issue. After leaving the room for several hours, we returned to find it had not been serviced. We had to call multiple times before someone came, and even then, the towels were not replaced. There was the excessive noise throughout the night. Doors were constantly slamming, making it difficult to rest. We reported this, but unfortunately no action was taken to improve the situation. While the team was courteous, the overall service, housekeeping, and attention to guest experience fell far below the standard I associate with the Edition brand. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations, and I left feeling disappointed.

This hotel is always a joy to stay at. Personally, the Abu Dhabi EDITION is still my favorite, but this property is lovely in its own way too. I love how that signature EDITION scent follows you throughout the hotel it immediately gives the place a familiar and luxurious feel. The location is also very convenient, especially being so close to Dubai Mall. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable and well designed. Overall, another enjoyable stay and definitely a hotel I’d recommend.

Had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The hotel was spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly, and made check-in smooth and pleasant. The valet service and the staff who assisted with our luggage were professional, helpful, and always smiling. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed. Thank you for the excellent hospitality—I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

A Terrible Experience at Edition Dubai – Service Below Any Acceptable Standard We are Marriott Bonvoy members and have stayed at many Marriott and Edition properties. Unfortunately, we have never experienced such a poor level of service. The problems started at check-in. Although we had made a reservation for two people, we were told that the reservation was registered for only one person. We had to wait approximately 15 minutes until the issue was finally “approved.” When we entered the room, we found lipstick and makeup smeared on the floor. The room simply felt as though it had not been properly cleaned. For two consecutive days, we experienced the same issue at breakfast. Each time, we were told that the room was registered for only one person, forcing us to wait approximately 15 minutes and go back to reception so they could resolve the issue with the restaurant. But the worst part was when we discovered a large cockroach on our bed. We have a photo documenting this incident. As if all of this wasn’t enough, after checking out, we discovered that we had been charged twice, while the amount that had been held at check-in was still not released. For approximately two weeks, we had to repeatedly chase the hotel for answers, without receiving a clear explanation or anyone taking responsibility. When we tried to receive an apology, a solution, or compensation for the considerable inconvenience and distress caused by this experience, we not only failed to receive an appropriate response, but one of the customer service representatives actually hung up on us. We are extremely disappointed with both the hotel and the way our complaint was handled by Marriott. After this experience, we are seriously considering cancelling our Marriott Bonvoy membership. For us, this is a warning to anyone considering staying at Edition Dubai: do not expect the level of service normally associated with the Marriott brand. A disappointing, frustrating, and completely unacceptable experience for a hotel of this standard.
