I had a deeply disappointing experience at Taj JLT Dubai due to a serious booking and guest handling issue. I had booked two rooms almost three weeks in advance through MakeMyTrip, and the reservation was shown as fully confirmed. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that the booking had never been received or had been rejected by the hotel system—despite MakeMyTrip continuing to show it as valid and confirmed. The hotel staff stated that the issue was on MakeMyTrip’s side, while MakeMyTrip support insisted the booking was confirmed from their end. As a guest, I was left stuck in the lobby for hours with no resolution, being passed back and forth between the hotel and the booking platform. What was most disappointing was the lack of responsibility or assistance from the hotel. Despite the confusion being clearly external to us as guests, there was no attempt to offer even a temporary solution, alternative accommodation, or any form of courtesy arrangement within the property. We were simply told the hotel was fully booked and left to resolve the situation ourselves. After waiting for nearly two hours without resolution, we had no choice but to book another hotel at our own expense. This experience raises serious concerns about coordination between the hotel and third-party booking platforms. If Taj JLT does not honor bookings made through MakeMyTrip, then those listings should either be properly managed or removed from such platforms to avoid leaving guests stranded upon arrival. At the very least, some form of guest-first handling or goodwill arrangement should be standard practice in situations like this. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property.

We visited on Wednesday 27th of May. All of hotel staff were great specially the receptionist, very friendly environment, the room was great and we choose the golf view and we didn't regret spending more for the a room with a great view. The hotel can look into improving the breakfast as there were not much options, and the pool as the water temperature was is not controlled and it was very cold. Overall, it was a great experience

We stayed in 2 rooms on the 18th floor during mid May when the war was on. However, occupancy was not low and the breakfast table was always at full capacity, quiet comforting especially when tourism was low. Breakfast spread was on order with a limited spread and all the staff was especially lovely & attentive. The gym is well equipped and the view of Shiek Zayed Road, golf course, etc was amazing from all the rooms, especially in the night. Rooms were modern, cozy & equipped with mini fridge & hot kettle. The rooftop bar & pool area the highlight of the hotel.

Staying at Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers felt like having the entire skyline at our feet: JLT, Dubai Marina, JBR, Burj Al Arab… and even Burj Khalifa in the distance. Sunrise coffee with that view? Unreal 🫠 The location is honestly so convenient, everything feels close, yet you still have that peaceful, elevated perspective above the city. The rooms are modern, beautifully designed, and super clean, the kind of space where you instantly feel good the moment you walk in. Everything here just felt… right. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the food was easily some of the best I’ve had lately, full of flavor, beautifully plated, total 10/10 🍲 The views get you through the door, but the comfort, the quality, and the way they take care of you make it so hard to leave 🏙️✨

We had such a wonderful stay at Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers truly memorable from start to finish. 🥹✨ I’m very detailed when it comes to choosing hotels. I really take time to read reviews before booking, and I can honestly say this hotel exceeded my expectations especially when it comes to their breakfast! The breakfast was AMAZING one of the best selections I’ve experienced. What I loved most is that they have a menu where you can order freshly made dishes, not just buffet style. Everything felt high quality and well prepared. I personally loved their eggs Benedict, waffles, hash browns, and their Indian breakfast options they are the best! 🤍 We stayed to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and what touched me the most was that I didn’t even request any surprise but the team themselves offered to prepare something special in my sister’s room. That gesture meant so much to us. Despite everything, they still went the extra mile, and it truly made us happy and grateful. A special shoutout to Mr. Amrit and Mr. Powan, the lifeguards, who were so attentive and kind it made our pool time extra safe and relaxing. The infinity pool was amazing too perfect temperature and very clean! Also, our experience at Paros Restaurant, together with Ms. Camile, was exceptional. The ambiance, food, and service were all top-notch. The front desk team, especially Ms. Apoorav, made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The buffet staff were equally impressive very accommodating and always with a smile. And to the housekeeping team (I’m so sorry I forgot your name 😭) and the bellboys especially the Filipino staff and Mr. Mohamed you guys are the best! Your kindness and warm smiles did not go unnoticed. 💛 Honestly, because of the excellent service, we didn’t even feel the need to go out we were happy to stay, dine, and even try the spa at the hotel. That says a lot. The hospitality of the entire team is truly heartfelt. The room was also very clean and comfortable. All the restrooms in the hotel were spotless clean! I just hope and pray that the hotel management continues to take good care of their employees. They are hardworking, sincere, and truly deserve recognition. Their service really touched our hearts. Every single staff member made us feel comfortable, heard, and valued. Thank you for such a beautiful experience we will definitely come back! 🙏
