I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and found ants in the bedroom. The pool was dirty. Asked for a different room the staff did their very best. Breakfast wasn’t that bad The reception ladies were very polite and helpful. The hotel needs a lot of work, including cleaning and maintenance, as well as a swimming pool.

Building looked good. Restaurant did not serve dinner. Breakfast was complimentary. Coffee was instant. Some staff were very helpful, but others were not. We were told no dinner, either go out or have delivered. Staff in the evening apparently not helpful in ordering food.

The front guest service was very nice and welcoming. However the hotel is very dated. There were lots of tiny crazy ants in the room we couldn't rest anything anywhere. The restaurant didn't open till 5pm so we had to take a taxi out to get something to eat. Pool was ok but then they closed up the bar and the restaurant at 6:30pm. So we had to order take out for dinner. I appreciate the free breakfast, the potatoes, eggs & bread was really good. Coffee & tea was Luke warm. The waitress kept staring at us, which was uncomfortable, I guess cause we and another family were the only ones in the hotel. At the very least they could have had music playing to bring some sort of Ambience to the place it was very quiet and creepy. Although we were booked for four nights we only stayed one night and left for another hotel.

Literally just checked out following a very enjoyable 10 night stay at Sunbay. The staff are amazing… friendly, welcoming , helpful and knowledgeable and whilst it might out off town it’s in a great location with a lovely beach just across the road and many other beaches within walking distance. There are bus stops nearby for Bridgetown and Oistins, with govt buses (costing BBD$3.50 no matter how far the journey) every half hour or so and also private buses known as ZR’s that run every few minutes. Sunbay has a lovely pool with one section being suitable for families with young children and there are more than enough sun loungers ☺️ there’s also a gym which has a decent range of kit… Breakfast was always a delight with a range of fresh fruit and juices, pancakes, muffins and cooked breakfasts including eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns and corned beef hash 😋 I can’t recommend the Sunbay Hotel highly enough, it’s a 3* hotel delivering 5* customer service!

Good value base for a holiday, tired hotel but it's very good value for the money, do not expect 5 star but it's absolutely fine for what we paid.
