We stayed at this hotel as a family of four. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained with immaculate gardens and heated pools that were perfect for relaxing. There was a great variety of food available, with plenty of options suitable for children, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, a few serious incidents overshadowed what could have been a wonderful holiday. On our first evening in one of the restaurants, my husband bit into a stone that had been left in the rice and, as a result, lost half a tooth. We were disappointed by the lack of acknowledgement and received no compensation for what was a very upsetting experience. While not all staff were unfriendly — our housekeeper, for example, was absolutely lovely — we generally found the service to be lacking warmth and professionalism. On one occasion, we ordered a lemonade for our son, and thankfully he noticed it tasted unusual. We quickly realised it contained alcohol. When we raised this with the bar staff member who prepared it, there was no apology or sense of accountability, and the response felt dismissive and rude. These incidents unfortunately put a real dampener on our stay. With better attention to detail and improved customer service training, this hotel could truly match the beauty of its surroundings. Sharm El Sheikh itself is a beautiful destination with gorgeous weather, but based on our experience, I’m not sure we would choose to return to this particular hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Alcazar in Sharm El Sheikh. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and extremely well maintained. The food was excellent with a great variety of options every day, and the quality was consistently high. The entertainment team did a fantastic job keeping both adults and children engaged, and there was always something fun happening around the resort. A special thank you to Nargiz from the Kids Club. She was absolutely amazing with our children and kept them entertained to the fullest throughout our stay. Her kindness, energy, and genuine care made a huge difference and allowed us to relax knowing our kids were having a great time. Overall, an excellent family-friendly resort with outstanding service. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the food was delicious with plenty of choices every day. The beach and pools were beautiful, making it the perfect place to relax. The best part of our vacation was definitely the animation team. They were energetic, funny, and always made everyone smile. Every day there were exciting games, sports activities, dancing, and evening shows that were professionally organized. The animators created an amazing atmosphere and made our holiday unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at Steigenberger Alcazar in Sharm El Sheikh and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The entertainment team was excellent – there were activities running throughout the day for both adults and kids, and the evening shows were fun and well organized. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the resort itself is beautifully maintained. We also really enjoyed the restaurants, which offered a great variety of tasty food and plenty of options for everyone. What really made the stay special was the staff – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The level of service throughout the hotel was excellent. Overall, it’s a wonderful resort for families and anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely love to come back!

We are completely charmed by this place. So much so that while still being here, we already booked another stay in few months time. The team truly goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels looked after and happy. There is plenty of space around the pools, and I would honestly suggest not being discouraged by negative reviews saying there are no sunbeds at the adult pool- there are. Yes, sometimes people reserve some loungers, but despite that, there is still always space available. And if you simply ask a pool attendant, they will happily bring extra sunbeds and an umbrella for you and place where you like. The food is incredible. We had the opportunity to dine five times in different à la carte restaurants, and we also enjoy lunch in various à la carte venues daily. To be honest, we rarely use the buffet because the selection here is so wide, it’s impossible to try everything. Bottled water is delivered to our room every day, which is a lovely touch. Everything is very clean, both in the rooms and around the pools. The whole experience feels truly luxurious and well taken care of. A special thank you to Saied at La Maison restaurant - his service was absolutely outstanding.
