We stayed at Sandals Grande St. Lucia for our honeymoon, and overall the experience and the island itself were beautiful. Multiple people mentioned this was the best of the three Sandals resorts on the island, mainly due to the pool layout and overall atmosphere. We had a swim-up room, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately it was positioned away from the sun, so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we had hoped. The beaches were very clean and well maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. Jaden did a great job greeting us, and the team at Club Sandals was excellent as well. We also had very lovely massages at the spa, which was one of the highlights of our stay. That said, the activities and entertainment on the resort were somewhat limited. The shows were decent but nothing particularly memorable. The biggest downside was the dining experience. While we understand “island time” is a real thing, having a reservation and still waiting close to an hour to be seated was frustrating. On several occasions, some of the wait staff did not check on us, clear plates, or even offer a second round of drinks, which took away from the luxury experience we expected. I highly recommend booking excursions directly through the local guides on the beach instead of the resort — they’re more personal and tend to take you to better spots. Just be mindful that most excursion rides are about 45 minutes to an hour each way. Overall, we had a great honeymoon and truly enjoyed St. Lucia, but we’re not entirely sure the price point justifies staying at Sandals again based on these experiences alone. We wouldn’t completely rule it out, but it’s something we’d have to carefully consider.

We are on the 6th of our 10 day vacation and it has been amazing! There are so many options for activities here without ever leaving. The local excursions have been so much fun and reasonably priced. The Club Sandals crew are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure the needs and wants of every person is being met! Everyone has been amazing but a special shout out to Migel for being WONDERFUL and going able and beyond every single day he is here! The restaurant and bar crews are so warm and welcoming! I love when they sing softly to themselves and don’t even realize they are bringing joy to everyone around them! This was our experience at Tuscanini’s this morning (9/16); they know who they are! Special shout out also to Lisa, Kerlan and Darren for being EXTRA AWESOME! This is my third Sandals vacation and I hate that the next 4 days will fly by! Additional update: Jessie made us the BEST omelettes and was so nice and funny! Cecelia was so kind and kept our room so clean! Kenley was so sweet brought us a fresh cut coconut while they were trimming trees! The Sandals Club manager (I’m sorry I cannot remember her name) was so gracious and helpful with a couple of minor issues we had!

We went for our honeymoon. We are in our 50's and had a great time. Met a ton of people of all ages. You can be as social or as quiet as you want. Lots of places to go. Rooms got 4 stars because there are no outlets in the bathroom. Golf was very good and we golfed 4 times. JJ's excursion is a must. Ask for Queen B. We took the helicopter in and the ferry out. I would highly recommend the ferry. Both were great though. Lots of food choices. Some were ok, some were very good. Friends with bulter service said that by the time food got to them it was tough and cold, but we didn't have a butler. Overall we had an amazing time and the island is beautiful.

This was the perfect place to have our honeymoon! Nothing got in the way of us relaxing for a full 6 days. The food and drinks were awesome, the views incredible, and the facilities/pool/beach clean and tons of fun! Our room was extremely comfortable and we were never wanting for a clean or refills in the minibar. We were fairly close to the pool where activities were taking place which led to some sound at night if we were trying to call it early, but we hardly ever did! The staff was all courteous, professional, and more often than not funny! Highly recommend this as a honeymoon location or a spot to go with other couples you are friends with!

We chose this location for our honeymoon. They do add some nice touches (champagne in the room, newlywed reception), but overall the experience was mixed. Our bags didn’t arrive to our room for quite a while, and I had to call the bell desk multiple times. They said the bags were mislabeled, even though they were the ones who tagged them at the airport and one bag had my ID on it. Since we arrived in the evening with only a few other couples, it seemed like it should’ve been easy to sort out. Food: Dinner options were very good—Kimonos (above-average hibachi), Bombay Club (flavorful Indian), Soy (excellent sushi), and the Jerk Shack (decent beach food) were our favorites. Dino’s pizza was not good. Breakfast was the weakest part: Bayside Buffet was disappointing with guests searching for plates, and room-service breakfast was bland. Toscanini’s had the best breakfast, though waits can be long. Club level Room: The bed was comfortable, but the room overall felt just okay. When we were escorted to the room, a spray cleanser was left on the bedside table - small detail but for the experience they are selling, still a miss. Did not see much benefit from club level - the lounge had some snacks and drinks and they were able to make us dinner reservations. We tried to arrange a boat transfer through the club lounge while moving resorts, but they just directed us to a local company to call ourselves. Even when they offered to “help,” it was just calling the same number we already had. Ultimately, they sent us to an independent beach vendor—so the club level offered little real benefit. Beach & Pools: The beach is beautiful and the drinks were consistently good. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. A big frustration was chair-saving—lots of towels left on beach chairs all day with no one using them. Also, when we left for a 9am excursion, there were no towels available by the pools. I had to ask multiple staff members and ended up getting them from reception.
