My wife and I stayed here for seven days after sailing St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Anse Chastanet was wonderful! The staff are amazing. From the moment you arrive, throughout many moments during your stay, to the moment you depart, you are made to feel appreciated. The facilities are great. We did a six dive package and The Pinnacles dive site was my favorite. So much life and coral + sea turtles! We got a couples massage at the resort day spa. Best massage either of us ever had! Loved it so much, we went back again two days later. The staff are really special. Helpful, attentive, and friendly. My only concern was the food quality was and variety was just meh. As other reviewers mentioned, it’s not easy to pop into town so plan accordingly. Overall, great diving, wonderful spa, top notch staff, comfy rooms, and I can’t wait to go back! Surprisingly good WiFi and cell service too.

the location is amazing and you are well prepared by a one in a life time driving experience :-) the room was exactly as described on the web site. the staff is very welcoming and people are super nice. food is excellent. we took the half board option but I would recommend the all inclusive one. Our son received a lot of attention and sugar cane :-) there are tons of activities around. we really loved our week there. super relaxing. kayaking, SUP, sailing, snorkeling are all available on the beach for free. and beach people are really nice and helpful. Scuba was great too and I will enter a specific review for scuba. there were a couple small glitches that make me say that service is sometimes below (my) expectations. I will happily report these to Andrew, the new hotel director who was extremely courteous too. a place we would love to go back to.

This hotel resort in St. Lucia feels genuinely unique and never once like a cookie-cutter stay. It’s a thoughtful mix of nature, relaxation, and adventure. Beach time, spa visits, jungle hikes, mountain biking, snorkeling, and scuba all fit together naturally. 🟢 The rooms The rooms are spacious and truly feel like a treehouse tucked into the mountainside. Jade Mountain is the sister property of Anse Chastanet and beautiful if your budget allows, but we loved how connected to nature our room at Anse Chastanet felt. The windows have bug screens and adjustable louvered slats, so they’re essentially open all the time. At night we heard tree frogs, wind through the trees, and the ocean in the distance. It felt immersive and special. The balcony was perfect for morning birdwatching. We visited in December, with daytime temperatures around 82°F, cooler at night, and were very comfortable with just a fan. The decor is local, integrated with nature and the culture, and rustic, not modern. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. Some rooms face the Pitons, which are stunning, but our jungle-facing room was more economical and still beautiful. 🟢 Food The food was a highlight. Ingredients are fresh and local, much of it grown on their own farm. We chose the all-inclusive food package and felt it was worth it. You can taste that the food is made with care. Flavorful, thoughtful, and creative. The West Indian cuisine was our favorite. Open-air dining made every meal feel relaxed and connected to nature. 🟢 Local employees The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely kind. I appreciated that Anse Chastanet hires local employees. Tipping is voluntary, but I wanted to tip in cash (local currency when possible)…just like in the US I think this means a lot to the workers, and the dollar goes far here. 🟢 Nature & activities Nature is literally right outside your window. We loved the easy jungle biking route and the onsite hikes. If you enjoy plants or birds, this place is incredible. Birds often visit balconies in the morning, and sea birds are easy to spot from the beach or beach-level restaurants. 🟢 Spa The spa was lovely. If you can choose your therapist, Andia was excellent. Skilled, attentive, and very experienced. 🟢 Scuba I don’t scuba, but my husband does, and he had an excellent experience. The coral and sea life were vibrant, colorful, and active. Having a scuba center right on the beach made everything easy. Short boat rides directly from the hotel beach, lockers for heavier gear so you don’t have to carry it back to your room, rinse stations, and beach showers right behind the dive center. The logistics alone made diving here feel stress-free. 🟢 Accessibility notes Some rooms require walking uphill and the beach requires using several steps. It’s doable, but could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The resort provides a cell phone to call for shuttles, which made getting around much easier. 🟢 Departure lounge tip If you’re flying out of Hewanorra International Airport, the Iyanola Executive Lounge was worth it for us. It’s not fancy, but it has air conditioning, snacks, bathrooms, and quieter seating. We booked through LoungePair and used the QR code on our phones. Anse Chastanet is ideal for travelers who love nature, snorkeling or scuba diving, and a slower, more intentional kind of resort stay. I’d absolutely come back.

First, let me say, I'm still reminiscing on the amazing trip I took to this fantastic resort 2 weeks ago! My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary with a stay in, quite possibly, the best vacation destination I've ever experienced! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Rajesh. He helped us get settled and acquainted with the facility and left us to get comfortable to begin exploring everything Anse Chastanet had to offer. The food was AMAZING! Everything we ate was a step above other resorts we've visited. Absolutely delectable! And a special thanks to Marilyn (I may be misspelling this) for suggesting the Salt Fish at Balawoo. It quickly became a daily staple of my morning meals during my stay. Throughout our stay, our every request was compassionately received and just about any and every accommodation was made to ensure we remained in a state of bliss throughout our stay. For this, I give a special THANK YOU to Monica and Gifter! My man Melvin was the best Mixologist, everything he made was GREAT! The pampered feeling extended to both beaches, as we were waited on by the kindest, most attentive staff while visiting both gorgeous beaches. Brenda and Sunshine Biscuit provided all the amazing gifts we brought home to the family. As far as extras, we took advantage of a private half day cruise (shout-out Tory and Brad!), a water taxi to Soufriere and the Four Hands Anpagal massage, all amazing. If you find yourself in Soufriere, we recommend visiting Felicity's... the Lobster Thermadore was the tastiest thing I've ever eaten! This place is heaven on Earth! I only have two things I should point out to others looking to visit Anse Chastanet: 1.) We stayed in the Superior Hillside Room and... what a gorgeous view!!! The only downside, there was no air conditioning and the nights were really, REALLY hot. The staff provided several fans, but I still found myself uncomfortably hot, preventing me from getting quality sleep. Next time we visit (and there will most certainly be many more next times!) we will likely get a room with air conditioning. 2.) This majestic resort is literally built into a mountain. As such, you can expect quite a bit of walking on a significant incline. If you are unable or unwilling, they provide shuttles to the restaurants and the beach, but if you up for it, you will brave 131 steps from the beach to Balawoo (yes... we counted!) and then a steep walk back to your room. My wife and I didn't mind, as we aim for 10,000 steps every day (and it justified all the gourmet food we ate ;P). All in all I simply cannot WAIT to return to this little slice of heaven over and over and over and over again! Most certainly felt like home away from home!

I wanted to share some thoughts with you about the staff. After all, it is the employees that really make things happen. We were so impressed with the quality of the people and will never forget their warmth and caring. More than that though, it appears that the personal commitment they all possessed was indeed a rare thing. From Peter to Daniel, from Ricardo to Michelina, and so many others, it is hard to imagine a more dedicated group of people. You can have all the great food, scenery, and romantic atmosphere, but “nothing” is more important than the employees. Cherish them all, as they are the reason Anse Chastanet is the fabulous place that it is. I guess you can tell we enjoyed ourselves.
