5 stars all the way! As someone who has been to many caribbean destinations and different resorts I can honestly say you will not be disappointed with this choice. I will say it is a very very long drive from the airport, And if windy roads make you queasy definitely pack your gravel! That aside everything else was flawlessly perfect. Upon arrival to the beautiful lobby we were greeted by a staff member who granted us a complimentary oceanview room upgrade, The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the buffet and the Japanese restaurant during our stay. Always found something to eat. There is a fantastic little coffee bar upstairs to the right of the lobby we enjoyed evening iced coffees during the entertainment. This resort as I mentioned is quite far from the Airport . Volcano and Pitons are also a distance away. depending on what you are looking to do while you are here I highly recommend a rental car. We were able to have one dropped off and picked up from us right at the resort. This trip we spent most of our time sightseeing and didn't really utilize the beach on the property, From what we seen of the beach it was a bit smaller but Plenty of lounging area. If you're contemplating this resort I say go for it ! we truly had a great time and I would absolutely go back.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm, friendly, and professional service. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, with plenty of great options to choose from. Every meal exceeded my expectations. The overall experience was exceptional. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the outstanding customer service truly made the difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. I can't wait to come back!

Arrived at Royalton Saint Lucia on 8/9/26 check in took an hour due to only 2 employees at the front desk. I received no escort to my room with my luggage and I had to ask several people before finally finding building 6 and my room. Other family members were in building 4 which had no hot water when we arrived. Ordered room service at 1030pm which was a no show. 8/10 the following day I woke up to no water until later that evening. 8/10 around noon the resort had ran out of towels for the pool and beach. 8/10 experienced a flood at the door entrance requested a room changed but was denied, Yearline the supervisor on duty lack customer service skills and maintenance never showed up. 8/11 woke up to paint chipping from the ceiling due to the leak causing the flood which raised an alarm due to lead poison still was denied a room change. 8/11 at the buffet for lunch to find a roach in the pizza I was eating. While waiting to speak with chef Raul another roach was crawling on the floor and the ladies behind the buffet were afraid to kill it. 8/11 while at the Steakhouse a roach was crawling up the wall. My room view was amazing the bathtub could have been cleaned better as well as the floors but overall nice room. After going back and forth with Yearline my room was finally changed without any outreach or heads up, entered the room to find the tv no longer working so I went to the front and was advised of the room change. I was moved to building 4 with no view and in the rear of the building facing the woods. The room was not as nice as my original room. I didn't feel safe because it was in a very dark area of the resort. Requested housekeeping several times and a housekeeper knocked around 8pm on 8/11 she did apologize that I had not received service. The buffet food was a 4 out of 10. The bars at the pools closed at 6pm and the bar upstairs never had a chef during the 3 times I went there was told he stepped away or I was told to come back at a later time. The food truck had always ran out of whatever was on the menu and the food wasn't that good. After speaking with employees at the resort I was told that there was on going electrical and plumbing issues at the resort due to the construction remolding did not do a good job. I'm well traveled and have stayed at many hotels and resorts but this was my worst experience ever. Overall experience at Royalton would be a 3 out of 10 and I would not recommend this Royalton Resort.

Stayed for slightly less than a week in early June 2026. "Off season" was less expensive and less crowded, but the weather was actually fantastic. Wasn't too hot, minimal rain, constant breeze, and manageable humidity (we are from Florida, so we might be more used to that than others). The majority of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were great (with a large selection) and the food was good (but maybe not exceptional). The buffet was pretty large with lots of selection. The beach/bay/view were beautiful. It is not a brand new facility and could use some freshening up, but in general the overall value felt very worth it. We did a long spa session on two different days, and that might have been the highlight of the trip. They treated us fabulously at the spa. Would absolutely recommend to others. The largest pleasant surprise about St. Lucia in general was having english as the primary language. This made traveling from the states very comfortable and easy.

The exterior of the hotel is beautiful. So is the beach and waterfront area. The general on-site staff are warm and friendly. The food is not bad for all-inclusive. Try the Tex-Mex restaurant if you can get a reservation. The outdoor bar staff are great too. Cocktails are nice. Outdoors is definitely better maintained than indoors. Overall what lets the resort down is all the things other negative reviews have already captured: - The service is slow, inattentive of to the point of frustration. - The lifts (elevators) in some of the blocks don’t work so you’re in trouble if you’re on a higher floor with big bags. - Unbelievably long check-in and checkout queues and understaffed desks (expect to wait maybe an hour). - Main restaurant service is painfully slow. You will ask for drinks, or cutlery, or basically anything over and over and you won’t get them. - Dated rooms, finishes and bedding in dire need of renovation or a refresh. - Zero communication from hotel management if and when problems do arise - they genuinely do not care about your experience so save your complaints. - Absolutely overpriced and not a good value for money experience. The pricing is luxury, the hotel is not. On the service front it may just be that the hotel needs to invest in re or upskilling on customer service. The staff are genuinely pleasant but do not seem engaged or invested in providing good service. Not necessarily a mark against them but the location means you’re completely reliant on private taxis *arranged by the hotel* that charge anywhere starting from $50US each way. Even a bus ride to Gros Ilets (the Friday night street party spot) which is 10 minutes away will cost you $20US per person. It’s a 2-hour ride from the airport so pay the extra for the transfers if they’re not included in your reservation. If you’re reading this and your reservation is non-refundable, remember you’re in St Lucia. The island is beautiful, the people are nice and your hotel is at best a mid-range glorified Bed and Breakfast. Enjoy the sea and sunshine. Once you leave the hotel, don’t expect any responses. I’ve been emailing for weeks to get hold of the accounts team and haven’t received a reply or acknowledgment of my query. It’s disappointing but given the experience during my stay I’m not surprised.
