We were fortunate to spend 7 wonderful nights in a Private Pool Villa. What truly sets this resort apart is its exceptional staff. Every interaction was warm, genuine and professional and the level of hospitality made our stay unforgettable. Special thanks to Wawa, Am Okay, Pop, and the lovely young receptionist at the onsite spa — each of them is a real asset to the resort and played a big part in making our holiday so memorable. The resort itself is modern, beautifully positioned on the beachfront, and within easy walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants. We also thoroughly enjoyed dining at Sassi’s Restaurant onsite, which was excellent throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic time celebrating my partners 40th Birthday while away in Khao Lak. We were extremely happy with our room and its surroundings which were all kept very clean. We were greeted by enthusiastic, happy staff every time we entered the reception area. Breakfast was lovely with food in abundance. All the breakfast staff were inviting and happy to see you each morning. Lunch and evening menus also had a great choice of both Thai and western dishes. We enjoyed all our meals during our time there. The pool was lovely and clean but also a good temperature. We enjoyed the swim up bar where Tony served a good cocktail at happy hour. Overall we had an amazing first time at Ramamda Khao Lak, hence why it won’t be our last. We will be returning as soon as we can.

As a top-tier Diamond member of the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, I expected a certain level of service and recognition during my stay at Ramada Resort by Wyndham Khao Lak. Unfortunately, this property failed to deliver on almost every front. Aside from the welcome drink upon arrival, the entire experience was a massive letdown. At check-in, the staff completely ignored my elite status and did not offer a room upgrade. I literally had to remind the receptionist about my benefits, and only after I brought it up did they "generously" grant a one-category upgrade. According to Wyndham rules, they are supposed to upgrade to the best available room, and higher-category rooms were clearly vacant. To make matters worse, despite the availability, I was forced to wait about 40 minutes just for them to get the upgraded room ready. The resort itself is well past its prime; everything feels old, tired, and worn out. However, the biggest issues were regarding basic amenities and hygiene. The hotel provides bottom-shelf, cheap toiletries the shower gel and shampoo were awful, and there was no hair conditioner provided at all, which is unacceptable for a beach resort. Even worse, I found visible traces of bugs on the bed, and on a couple of occasions, I actually found live larvae in my sheets. This is completely unacceptable for an international hotel chain. The breakfast was the only saving grace of this stay as the selection was decent and included smoked salmon. However, the service and seating organization in the restaurant were chaotic, and no one greets or seats you in a timely manner. The resort might have been busy, but high occupancy is no excuse for a total lack of hospitality. Furthermore, the hotel seems to cater mostly to elderly European package tourists, making the overall atmosphere feel very outdated and stagnant. This property does not live up to Wyndham standards and has no idea how to treat loyal status guests. I will definitely not be returning, and I cannot recommend this resort to anyone looking for a true experience. And it was absolutely horrific the slippers provided in my room had clearly been used by previous guests and were never replaced. They were heavily worn out on both sides and covered in dirt stains. It seems the hotel doesn't bother changing or even sanitizing slippers until guests wear them down to holes, because mine were visibly filthy.

Omg what a great experience at this place. Spacious rooms, the best staff and service you can ever think of. Food was amazing and we wish we could have stayed more than 9 days. Staff was friendly and attentive all the time and never hesitate to go an extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Big variety of international buffet which has food for every fuzzy eater. Great location and cannot wait to come to this heaven again. Thanks so much guys.

We really loved our stay. We couldn’t fault anything at all. Good sized rooms all of which overlook the garden and many have a view of the pool and ocean. Well appointed bathrooms. The pool is large but only about 1.3 metres deep and it was very warm in May. The ocean was a nice place for a swim. Breakfast is great with so many choices and refreshing juices. Food was delicious. We had a Luxury Escapes package which included daily lunch or dinner for our 8 night stay and there was a generous range of choices. The Spa was excellent. Thanks Tik Tok. The restaurant staff were amazing and always ready to help. Special mention to Joe, the Food and Beverage Manager, and his team including Aui, Nony and Pop. You are friendly and professional. We can highly recommend Ramada Resort by Wyndham at Khao Lak.
