Review Raffles The Palm Dubai We had a wonderful stay at Raffles The Palm. The location is fantastic, the rooms are absolutely breathtaking, and the views are simply spectacular. The hotel itself is beautiful, with gold accents throughout and a luxurious atmosphere, making it a truly memorable place to stay. However, we felt that the hospitality could sometimes be a bit more 5 stars/ personal and warm. While the staff were friendly, the service did not always feel as attentive as we would expect from a hotel of this caliber. In the restaurants, there were several occasions when it took quite a long time before we could order drinks. Although we stayed in a large suite, we did not receive the complimentary Raffles summer hat, nor was it available for purchase. It is a small detail, but these little touches are what make a luxury stay feel truly special. Having also stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, where the level of hospitality and personal attention is exceptional, we noticed a clear difference. Raffles offers stunning surroundings and outstanding accommodations, but there is still room to elevate the guest experience through more proactive and personalized service. Overall, a beautiful hotel with amazing rooms and spectacular views, but with some room for improvement in the classic five-star service experience.

This hotel is true pleasure even for a day visit. Lovely decor inside, greenery otside, lovely garden, large pool and live warm sea with plenty of sunbeds. Staff was helpfull and welcoming. Clean spaciouse walkways, tasty food and drinking cold water dispencers. Surprised by the absence of hot water in the showers and a tiny changing cabins but that did not spoil whole experience. Highly recommend and will be coming back for sure.

I had an unforgettable stay at Raffles The Palm Dubai. This is truly one of the most beautiful and elegant hotels I have ever visited. The classic European-style design is completely different from the modern hotels in Dubai, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. The lobby is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning chandeliers, luxurious décor, and a royal atmosphere. The pool is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. A very special thank you to Husna and Henry for their outstanding hospitality. They were incredibly kind, professional, and always smiling. They made us feel genuinely welcome and took care of us throughout our stay. Their excellent service made our experience even more memorable. Everything about this hotel feels luxurious, elegant, and peaceful. If Raffles ever offers an affordable membership or loyalty package for frequent guests, I would definitely join because I would love to stay here every time I visit Dubai

We have just left the hotel after a five night stay. Some of the previous reviews were putting me off booking, however we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We arrived after a night flight and our room was ready. Karina was very kind with an upgrade and allowed us to have breakfast and then go to our room, where the luggage was waiting. Super comfortable room, large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The loo is a separate room with a bidet. There is a walk in wardrobe with full length mirror and plenty of storage. We took a Palm view room, which had a small balcony with table and chairs. We found the breakfast adequate for the price we paid. It was buffet style with options to order. We enjoyed the pool area and beach which had plenty of seating. If you required service, we found there to be enough staff to help with the limited number of guests currently at the property. If you want to use the gym, there was detox water with fruit plus a fridge of canned mineral water. The indoor pool was rarely busy and a much cooler temperature if that’s what you prefer. We would certainly rebook a stay at the hotel again soon.

The check-in experience was a very positive start—the gentleman at reception was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. During our stay, however, we felt that some aspects of the service, particularly around the pool and beach areas, did not quite meet the level we would normally associate with Raffles. The pool was very busy, and when we asked for help finding sunbeds, we were asked to look ourselves. While we completely understand that this can be challenging during peak times, a bit more assistance—whether in locating available beds or helping with towels—would have made a noticeable difference to the overall experience. We were also surprised and somewhat disappointed to find that there were no à la carte restaurant options available. The only choices offered were the buffet restaurant downstairs or the club lounge upstairs. Having visited the lounge earlier, we found it somewhat underwhelming—more of a canteen-like atmosphere than a premium experience, with a lot of noise from children and details such as creased, unironed table mats, which detracted from the overall impression. We would also like to mention the breakfast experience, which unfortunately did not meet expectations. The pastries did not seem fresh, my husband’s omelette was quite dry and lacked seasoning, and my fried eggs were not prepared in the way one would expect—they lacked any crispness and the whites had a soft, almost poached texture, which made them very bland. On a more positive note, the salads at the pool bar were very good. However, we did notice some inconsistency in quality overall—for example, my son’s pizza was excellent on the first day but quite disappointing on the second. Overall, it felt as though the hotel may have been operating at a high occupancy level, which may have impacted the level of service and attention to detail in certain areas. That said, there were also positives—the room and beds were excellent, very comfortable and well-appointed, and the initial welcome set a lovely tone.
