Absolutely amazing stay. Highly recommend If you want to be near Stonestown. Grounds were immaculate, service top notch. Was upgraded to gorgeous terrace suite. Food delicious with fresh coconut juice as an option with extensive buffet. Loves their attached restaurant Beach House as well with great seafood and live music. We booked day trips from hotel and worked out well to see historical spots on Zanzibar. Overall luxurious stay that was comfortable and not pretentious!

Beautiful location, incredible service, and the warmest, kindest staff. Best breakfast you can find in the entire island (or probably continent… DELICIOUS!) It’s truly the best place to stay in Stone Town: right in the middle of the vibrant chaos, yet quietly hidden away. A real oasis of peace, while still deeply connected to the heart of the city. They upgraded us without even asking, the view of the room was incredible. Impeccable service and outstanding attention to detail. They even arranged drivers for us every night, making us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout our stay.

I was working from Park Hyatt’s lobby few times, as a walk in guest. That is what made me to write a review. The architecture of the building, design, light breeze inside is just breathtaking. Specially once you are complete remote, I am starving to a place to feel home, make me relaxed. Their library is exceptionally made my wish come true. However the staff completely distroyed these feelings. I felt their attitude rude or discriminative towards me. I mean not kind, friendly. At a high standard hotel I would like to feel welcomed, not the opposite. Also same staff made my payments so difficult. One day the same card machine accepted my bankcard, another day not. Really do not understand why. Also they do not explain anything. Just give me cash …. Really rude. Tried the food also here, which is ok, but nothing exceptional. A place which might be a nice choice for accomodation, as the reputation is amazing of the hotel. Also central location But based on my humble personal opinion - there are cuter butique hotels in Stone town, where as a guest you are warmly welcomed and treated. For same expenses.

Park Hyatt Zanzibar is an iconic landmark in Stone Town, where traditional Zanzibari architecture blends seamlessly with modern elegance to create something truly special. The rooms seem to float above the Indian Ocean, and from the moment I arrived I felt completely immersed in the luxury and tranquillity of the setting. The service and cuisine live up to the beauty of the surroundings — refined, attentive, and memorable. Without question, this ranks among my favourite hotels in the world.

Nice hotel but the room had very inefficient air conditioning making nights not comfortable. Quality Bedding and bathroom . In general , hotel staff very friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor pool . The gym is conveniently opened 24/7 with the minimum equipment to keep you in shape .
