A world of enchanting beauty and pure tropical bliss awaits on the shores of Zanzibar at the 5-star Kwanza Resort. Overlooking the glistening turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, this serene getaway has everything you need for a holiday to remember in paradise.   • Buffet lunch in the Jua Restaurant (12.30pm to 6pm)
  • Tea, coffee and chef selected bakeries, pastries and finger food (4pm to 6pm)
  • Buffet dinner in the Jua Restaurant, with weekly international and theme nights dining concept (6.30pm to 10pm)
  • Birthday, anniversary and honeymoon cake on special occasions

Unforgettable Birthday Stay – Beautiful Resort & World-Class Staff! Our stay at Kwanza Resort was absolutely magical from start to finish! The property itself is incredibly beautiful, pristine, and offers the perfect setting to relax and unwind. What truly makes this resort a 5-star experience, however, is the staff. They are some of the warmest, most helpful, and amazing people we have ever met. It was my birthday during our stay, and the entire team went completely above and beyond to make me feel extra special and celebrated every single day. We want to send a massive, personal thank you to the incredible team who looked after us so beautifully: Elias, Clever, Monica, Abdul, Said, Jasmin, and Shaa – thank you for your exceptional warmth, attentiveness, and flawless service. Dj Isaya – for bringing the perfect vibe to our celebrations and a huge thank you for playing my favourite song on my birthday! Security Ivan – for making us feel incredibly safe, secure, and looked after. Gerald and Andrew – for your kindness and outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. Thank you to Shark, who was so incredibly friendly towards us and made us feel so genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hotel is simply perfect, with an impressive range of amenities, activities, and games to keep guests entertained. The staff are incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience. The only area that needs improvement is the buggy service. The hotel should consider increasing the number of buggies or making the service more responsive. Guests should ideally not have to wait more than 15 minutes to be picked up, especially when moving around the property. Another small improvement would be to have more irons available in the hotel. I was called by reception at 6:00 a.m. to ask if they could come and collect the iron from my room. While I understand the need to manage the limited supply, calling guests that early is quite inconvenient and could easily be avoided by having more irons available. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and genuinely wonderful staff. With a few improvements to the buggy service and in-room amenities, the guest experience would be even better.

We spent seven wonderful days at this beautiful resort and truly enjoyed our stay. The only small drawback was that the food could have been a little more varied, but this was not a major issue for us. Apart from that, everyone was incredibly friendly and always did their very best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A very special thank-you goes to Titus, who took such great care of us and was always attentive and helpful. We would like to send him our warmest regards and express our sincere gratitude for everything he did. We will definitely come back!

This resort is awasame. The venue is a dream on earth. The staff members are very welcoming and professional. We appreciate a lot Miss Elisabeth who seved us. She was so much caring. My family and I look forward to coming back.

Kwanza was exactly what we were looking for: a truly all-inclusive luxury resort where you can completely switch off & feel like you are properly on holiday, the staff & facilities were top notch. As a family of 4, we stayed in a Family Bungalow Suite with a private pool, which I highly recommend. It gave us the perfect balance of family time & downtime, we also really enjoyed the other pools & spent time at the sports facilities & spa. We stayed for 6 nights & could have stayed longer. The food was very good with plenty of choice & the team were incredibly helpful, including with arranging excursions. A special mention to Yusuf & Simon who went above & beyond, Jasmin, Edison & Said the on-site manager, although there were so many wonderful staff that the list could go on. Having visited Zanzibar before, Kwanza is definitely now our go-to place when we return.
