We had a wonderful stay at The Mora Zanzibar and would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were always spotless, and the food was absolutely delicious with a great variety to choose from. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is stunning and the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful view. One thing we especially appreciated was the peaceful atmosphere around the pool. There was no loud music or intrusive entertainment, making it the perfect place to truly unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The service was outstanding. All of the waitresses were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and made us feel truly welcome. A special thank you to Zaida at the main pool for her exceptional kindness, professionalism, and warm attitude. She made every visit to the pool even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. We would love to come back!

Our stay at The Mora was one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. Everything about the resort exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, with a great variety of high-quality dishes. The beach is absolutely stunning, and both the pools and the entire resort are kept in perfect condition. The waiters and waitresses were always smiling, attentive, and served excellent cocktails and refreshing drinks. Their service was outstanding and truly made our stay even more enjoyable. From the moment we arrived at The Mora Resort in Zanzibar, we felt like we were being welcomed home rather than just checking into a hotel. There’s something really special about this place and it’s 100% because of the people. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, warm, and always went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Whether it was a friendly greeting in the morning or checking in on us throughout the day, it never felt forced—it felt real. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Our room was absolutely amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a day in the sun. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully put together, which made it even easier to just unwind and enjoy every moment. And we have to talk about the bar—because Peter is hands down the best bartender. Not only were his drinks incredible, but his personality made every visit something we looked forward to. Huge shoutout as well to Jennifer, Jackson, and Pascal, who were all so much fun and made our nights even more memorable. Honestly, it’s hard to name just a few people because everyone at The Mora was truly amazing. The level of care and friendliness we experienced here is something we’ll never forget. We would recommend The Mora Resort to anyone without hesitation. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, relaxing, and genuinely special, this is it. We already can’t wait to come back.

The Mora Hotel is a beautiful property located right on the beach. It is spotlessly clean, and the staff is genuinely helpful, warm, and always smiling. One of the biggest advantages for us was the relaxed atmosphere — there wasn't an overwhelming amount of daily entertainment, making it the perfect place for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The Mora Hotel clearly prioritizes cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort at every turn. A very special thank you goes to Khadija from the beach, Reuben from the beach bar, and Benjamin from the Horizon restaurant, who took such amazing care of us during our week-long stay. It was so heartwarming that, despite a fully booked hotel, the team remembered our names as well as our favorite drinks. Thanks to their exceptional hospitality, our stay was even better than we could have ever dreamed of!

Beautiful resort. Great pools, work out area and spa. The service is fantastic. William checked us in and was efficient and took care of all of our needs and concerns. At the grill, Simon was great and provided the best service for our meal and beyond. He communicated well and kept us apprized of our meal progress. The food was cooked to perfection and ever was fresh and delicious. I woold Highly recommend this resort if you’re traveling to Zanzibar.
