Me and my husband stayed here for a week in September 2025 for our honeymoon and everything was perfect! Upon check in we were welcomed with a smile and from that moment on, every member of staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. We had a sea view room and the room was perfect, clean, spacious and had a comfy bed and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of wardrobe space and room to store your luggage, the rooms were also cleaned every day and I loved the bed decoration the cleaners did every day! The beach the hotel is situated on is stunning and the sunsets every night were beautiful. The all inclusive buffet was great and we also visited the steak house which we also enjoyed. There was a great selection of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner and this changed every day. The evening entertainment was varied and was enjoyable every night, even got the crowd up for a dance most nights! There is a big enough pool for everyone to enjoy and also plenty of sunbeds available and you don't need to get up early to reserve a spot. There is also plenty of space at the restaurant and bar area in the evening and never felt crowded. They also have shower facilities you can use to freshen up after checkout if you have a later flight. Just a few small negatives, these should not put you off staying, but worth mentioning. - There are sellers on the beach constantly, but if you politely say no they will move on, there are security guards, so they won't ever enter the hotel grounds. This didn't bother us, but worth noting. - A great selection of cocktails on the all inclusive package, but found they were a bit hit and miss in taste. We felt they tended to taste nicer in the evening rather than by the pool. - The hotel is quite far from the airport, not an issue for us, but again just worth nothing. Overall I'd recommend this hotel if you're staying in Zanzibar :)

This is the fourth Riu I've stayed at and it's the best so far ! The staff are all so helpful and friendly. They do everything possible to make your stay great. Reception are efficient and really know how to get things done. Cleaning staff are thorough whether that be bedroom or general cleaning. Entertainment staff create a lively atmosphere. Restaurant standards are high and the food is varied. Being able to book speciality restaurants adds variety. The beachside location is spectacular. I have only praise for the hotel and it's staff !

After being moved to a different room, we were completely satisfied. The hotel responded quickly and professionally, which we truly appreciated. The new room was beautiful, quiet, and spacious – exactly what you would expect from a resort of this level. Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel with a great atmosphere and genuinely helpful staff who make an effort to ensure guests feel comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

The food is fantastic. The best buffet we have ever experienced in a hotel - and we travel a lot! Also enjoyed the speciality restaurants where food and service - again excellent. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. A shout out to Nora (in Gingers) Rhoda on reception and all the pool staff - particularly the activity team - so good. Evening entertainment mainly good - particularly enjoyed the saxophonist and the high energy gymnastics. The lighting needs to be sorted as when performers used the floor around the stage it was difficult to see them. We also found our room quite dark - better lighting needed. Overall, we loved our stay and definitely would recommend

Wonderful resort and staff. Rooms are well kept . Food is amazing vs other places in the island. Great entertainment programs Few points if improved , this place might be one of best All inclusive resorts in the world and earns my 5 stars 1- improve alcohol selection. Poor whiskey and wine options (low quality) 2- more Golf carts for transportation within . Too much waiting time 3- complex app booking for restaurants (although staff was very helpful in resolving the issue ) 4- bathroom water had unusual concentration of chlorine it burnt my eyes (issue resolved after complaint the next day)
