We stayed at the Marriott for 3 nights this July. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the hospitality provided was excellent. We were shown 2 rooms to choose from. Awsaf the bellboy who showed us to our rooms was extremely proficient and he helped us settle into our rooms with ease and no request was any trouble at all. He always approached us in the lobby with a smile and made sure we were looked after. The room itself was clean and well-maintained. A great place to rest after a day out in the desert. We got the breakfast included and were glad we did. We were welcomed in with a big smile to our table. They cooked eggs as per our request and provided hot tea/coffee. The buffet selection was varied and changed every day. Shubham and Sabri made our daily breakfast routine a pleasant experience and Jallow made sure our coffee was topped up with a smile. All in all a great experience for my family and we look forward to going back again soon! Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay and enjoy the beauty and sights of Dubai.

Great stay at this Marriot hotel. What made our experience more memorable was the service we got from a young African gentleman at breakfast, I believe his name was Jallow. Service with a constant smile, friendly and always making sure if we needed anything. My only complaint was the fridge in the room. After taking the kids out shopping, I was looking forward to a nice cold beer only to realise that my beers were warm due to the light staying on, even after the door was closed. I had to put some tissue paper in between the light switch and door to keep the light off so in the morning after checking the fridge, it was cold. Regards Michael

Pros: Spacious rooms, Staff, Views from the roof top and from the room (depending on your room). Huge Fitness center, Laundry, Amicable staff, Quality of food that they serve at the breakfast buffet (though less varieties were served, they were very delicious and well cooked/prepared) Cons: Connectivity, Limited buffet spread (may be because of the present situation, earlier they had a wide spread buffet), The chest press at the gym is poorly placed, the floor mat makes it an uneven posture. One foot will be on the floor and the other will be couple of inches high on the mat, making ot uncomfortable while using the machine. Also one of the angle adjustment knob is missing. The treadmills were also poorly placed because, you won't get enough breeze from the air vents while working out. If u push them a little under the vents, air from the air-conditioning will help you get more air and eases your breathing while running. Part of the terrace is isolated and not properly maintained, it was filled with dust. (But the paintings on the terrace walls are mesmerizing). I feel like they are under staffed. Overall: Ambiance 9/10 Food 9/10 Location 7/10 Value for money 8/10. I keep posting this question in all my Hotel reviews, WHY DON'T YOU LET THE RECEPTIONISTS SIT AT THEOR DESK, WHY DO THEY HAVE TO STAND CONTINUOUSLY THROUGHOUT THEIR SHIFT? PLEASE ARRANGE A CHAIR AND DESK..

Had a wonderful dining experience at The Marketplace in Marriott Hotel. The buffet offered a good variety of dishes with fresh and delicious food options. The ambiance was pleasant, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout Overall. Special thanks Chona, Dora, Ricky, what a great experience and definitely worth visiting again.
