The whole experience was amazing. The staff are so friendly, helpful and always with a can do energy. Bianca at the front desk was so nice and welcoming. The food variety is decent, always something different but with safe options for those who are afraid to try different foods. The only downside is the rooms are not noise cancelling, you hear everything that happens in the corridors, outside and the rooms next to you.

We’ve just got back from a stay here. Our room, a family room was clean but very tired which is a shame as it lets the hotel down. There are cracked tiles in the location but they’re not sharp or anything. On the whole aside from that the hotel we found to be clean, the staff were perfect, especially Edward from in the restaurant, and the food was nice and varied. If the rooms were modernized it would help massively, the air con didn’t get turned on until 1st June and wasn’t really very effective. The kids loved the slides and some of the lifeguards were very good ensuring people’s safety. On the whole I’d say it’s a 3 star hotel rather than 4 as advised by Jet2. We read people’s reviews and worries about it but overall we had a good stay, nothing really to complain about other than the family room and air con but that said the room is a base and we survived the air con situation.

Linda’s Royal is a decent hotel. Needs a little upkeep. Buffet food is good you will not be disappointed. Resort is a short distance from Lindos town. Local bus and taxi available. Night entertainment ok, better than most I would say. The health spa is the best part. Treatments are very good and the staff are really nice. Local boat trips available, we used captain Visalis which was really good. Stopped off in Hiraki for lunch which was good. Lots of eating places. Not much to do outside of the hotel. Lindos town is best for that.

We stayed here expecting a 5 star experience. It’s was honestly the worst hotel and service I’ve experienced in my life. Entertainment was hit and miss, served drinks in plastic cups, lunch bar sometimes just never opened. There was a wedding put on one night for a family member of the owners where music , fowl Language were blasting out all night until 4am, when we went to complain we were told to go away and there is nothing we can do. We went into lindos every night to get away from what was a horrific experience. On leaving the hotel there was €5 outstanding for a Coca Cola at the bar, we said given the terrible experience and the service we’d received could this be knocked off, they refused and when we refused to pay they threatened to call the police. Utterly disgusting experience, please avoid at all cost.

I visited the Royal Lindos Resort for just 2 nights as I was attending a wedding, and it was the closest place I could find. Unfortunately this meant I flew in late on the first night, and left early on day 3, so I only really had 1 full day in the resort but it was enough to be able to form an opinion. I am not sure if it was because i was only staying a couple of nights, but I was charged €383 per night including taxes, which I think qualifies it as the most expensive place I have ever stayed. The main Reception Area of the Resort does feel very premium and could easily qualify as a 5 Star Resort, everything thereafter sadly felt more like a 3 or 4 star, so I felt like the €800 EURO i had spent was largely wasted. My room was small, but clean and quite modern, the AC worked incredibly well, which is important when visiting Greece in September. The main gripe I had with the room was the large gap under the front door, aside from letting some light (a lot of ants) in the room, it did nothing for soundproofing. This means as people trapsed up and down the corridor, the sound was as good as having the door open which I found disrupted my rest especially early in the morning and late at night. The Pools I did not use, but they looked nice enough and in good condition. The Buffet Food was OK, all looked freshly cooked, but none of it would class as 5 Star. I have stayed in 5 Star resorts in places such as Dominican Republic, and the food is Fresh, Varied and Served to you. The Food on the Buffet, looks like it was from a packet / frozen, and it was almost all self served apart from a few small kiosks. I am not much of a drinker, but as it was ALL IN I decided to try a Pino Colada, this to my suprise was served in SMALL cups, they were first filled with ice, a shot was poured in and then a drinks machine dispatched the remaining ingredients. The taste was shocking, very strong taste of alcohol, the mixer was VERY sweet and it just did not taste good. From a 3 Star Resort I would not grumble, but in a 5 Star surely they can actually mix coctails, rather than knock them out in this fashion :| The private transfer from the Aiport cost €75 Euro each way, this was well organised, and I cannot knock it as the journey is roughly 1 hour from the main airport... BUT Can I recommend the place... NO, if it was half the price then I think it would reflect the value, but this in my eyes is no way a 5 star resort. It has a nice location, the rooms are OK but the food, drinks, service and facilities are better reflected by 3 Stars at best.
