Dear tourist, if you're looking for a luxury hotel with royal suites, private butlers, chauffeurs, an exclusive spa, and dishes prepared by world-renowned chefs...this isn't the place you're looking for. But if you want to wake up every day to the chirping of birds, be surrounded by smiling people, feel safe, special, and simply have a wonderful vacation, you've come to the right place... I've been there for the fourth time 😊 Why, hmmm🤔? LePalmiste is a very intimate hotel, so you won't get lost 😁 Right at the reception desk, you're greeted by very friendly staff whose help you can count on in every situation. Poonam and Shiva are professionals; nothing is impossible for them, so guests are lucky right from the start of their vacation 😊The hotel rooms are spacious, modestly but tastefully furnished, and thoroughly cleaned daily by a delightful team. The bathrooms are the same: clean, spacious, and partially renovated since my last stay in 2023. If you don't like something in the room or bathroom, just grab a cup of coffee or something stronger😉 and head out to the balcony, and you'll quickly forget about it as you hear the enchanting birdsong in the beautiful garden...by the way, a great marketing ploy! Everything in the hotel is clean and pleasant to look at. If you want to rent a car, you can, of course, but if driving on the left side of the road isn't quite your thing 🤦🏻‍♀️you can be taken care of by the nicest man in the world, the amazing driver Phagoo. He'll take you everywhere, and you'll be 100% safe. If your back starts hurting after too much time on the beach, be sure to go for a massage at Zoyah. She's a magician, you'll forget about the pain very quickly. But to live, energy from the stars isn't enough... The restaurant in LePalmiste, well... Again, let me compare it to previous stays: HERE YOU CAN SEE A HUGE CHANGE FOR THE POSITIVE!!! The food is delicious and varied, both European and local. Everyone will find something for themselves, and it's clear that the chefs put a lot of heart into it. But the dishes and drinks wouldn't taste so good if it weren't for THEM... the entire excellent service team🫶 However, Sunil and Anhit deserve special recognition❤️❤️ These young Nepalese have won my and my mother's hearts, and I'm convinced not only our. Their boss should be proud of them, because they know how to take perfect care of their guests. Truly, thanks to people like them, we tourists can feel at home, or maybe even better. So, dear bosses, managers, and executives at LePalmiste, Ajay and Jean Phillipe bravo to you for your very good management and kind words. Your wonderful staff deserve a bonus because it's thanks to them that guests will return and recommend this wonderful place. Dear guests: don't be stingy with tips, they truly deserve them. And in closing, I'll just add: I keep coming back and will keep coming back...unless they don't let me in anymore because such a long review 🫣😂 Greetings from Poland. Anita and Barbara😘 😘
The Fine Palate !
The Palmiste Resort & Spa seriously needs to review its communication and hospitality standards. I was there as a guest on an all-inclusive package, yet upon arrival, my name did not appear on the list. While this was not the fault of the security guard, I did not appreciate his approach, as I was asked to stay aside while he checked with Reception instead of being properly welcomed. Due to this lack of coordination, I was asked to pay an additional fee to stay until dinner, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. The rooms are clearly outdated and in need of renovation. The sofa bed was crooked and old, the plastic bin was uncovered and unattractive, and overall the room looked poorly maintained. The bathroom appeared to have been cleaned hastily, and the electrical sockets in the bedroom looked damaged, which is concerning. Throughout our stay, every time we ordered drinks, we were repeatedly questioned about whether we were on an all-inclusive package. Even the Food & Beverage Manager questioned us twice. When this issue was raised, his response was that they had not received proper communication—an explanation that is simply unacceptable. I work in the hospitality sector, and I have never experienced such poor service and lack of internal coordination. Management urgently needs to review communication with online booking agencies, establish clear procedures, and implement an effective way to identify guests on all-inclusive packages to avoid embarrassing and frustrating guests. This experience was extremely disappointing and does not reflect the standards expected of a resort and spa.

Staying at this hotel was a pure pleasure! The entire resort has a very lovely and relaxing atmosphere, but what deserves the most praise is the fantastic staff. Everyone is incredibly polite, courteous, and helpful in every situation. Special thanks go to the manager, Jean Phillipe. He showed great empathy and professionalism by arranging a much more comfortable room for us, which was an incredibly kind gesture. Such an approach made us feel truly special. Overall – it was super! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-tier hospitality.

Absolutely Appalling – Avoid Le Palmiste Resort I am incredibly annoyed and disappointed with my stay at Le Palmiste Resort & Spa. For a resort in a beautiful destination like Mauritius, this place is an absolute disgrace. To start, they don't even provide basic drinking water in the rooms—a fundamental bare necessity for any hospitality establishment.I came tired after an overnight journey and on asking water...I was told to Buy it and drink..horrible . When you look around, the rooms themselves are incredibly shabby, rundown, and poorly maintained. What makes it completely unbearable, though, is the service. The staff, particularly the receptionist, are shockingly rude. They have absolutely no manners and have no idea how to talk to guests professionally or respectfully. Save your money and your peace of mind—do not stay here.

So this hotel is nice from the outside. I'm writing this while walking to the nearest atm at 22:30 when my flight leaves at 8, because hotel does accept card payments but not for tourist tax, that NEEDS to be in cash, WOW. First checkin: Idk what to say. We showed our voucher after a 13h flight and the first thing they mentioned is why we have a car not by the hotel, sorry what ?! booked a car at the airport?? We got a „premium" room next to the open restaurant and party area. There is no way to sleep next to the „party area" till 23:00-24:00, while most activities on Mauritius start at
