Fantastic first time in such a stunning country. Absolutely devastated we have to return home today. But we will definitely be back next year. Staff all friendly and helpful. Location amazing. We had room on ground floor, beach ,bar,pool all within a few steps away from patio seating area. Food was varied and tasty. Wildlife great to see especially large fruit bats flying around at night while sipping a cool drink Only 4 mosquito bites so that's good . Amazing, fantastic, superb !!!! See you next year !!!

We had an amazing stay! Long review here, to say everything that I wanted to read in the reviews here. First of all, the staff was really nice, smiling and helpful. Rooms: it is a 3 star hotel, a bit old, but the rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious, bed is comfortable, you have smart Tv and good air-conditioning. The cleaning is done daily, so they sweep, arrange the bed and change the towels. Go for the ocean-view rooms, the price difference is worth it not just for the really nice views, but it is close to the beach, bar and restaurant. Somebody said they have bed bugs: no, everything is clean, but you do get some bugs, remember you are at a tropical location. We saw a lizard, some crabs on the beach. This is not something that the hotel can control. Beach: there is a small swimming pool, but they got their private sandy beach, with a lot of sunbeds on the beach and on the patio. No need to go and reserve a seat in the morning, like I've seen done (and hate). They put the beds and give you beach towels from 9 and the boat house near the bar. Liked that they put there in the morning an announcement with how the weather would be like. A lot of people said it was windy. The whole east of the island is this way, research where you want to go. We liked how much wind we had because you do not feel the heat that much, so for us it was nice. All inclusive: when you check-in, they give you a list with what is included in the package - a good list of cocktails, alongside the classic non-alcoholic drinks. The meals are o buffet type. Breakfast is the same, but is vast so you have from where to choose. We stayed a week and for lunch and dinner they do quite change it so we did not get bored. We really thought the food was nice and authentic for the region, but even if you are picky, you do find something to eat. Bar is opened from 10 to 23, please try their local rhum with vanilla. Activities: they have a little gym, a pool table and could get board games if you have kids. They offer free water sports: paddleboat, kayak and snorkeling (you get them from the boat house where you take the beach towels). Also, we reserved beforehand a cruise on Viator, but canceled it and got one from the hotel much cheaper. So please talk to the reception about that. You can also rent a car from there, cheaper than at Sixt (50 euros for 24 hours). They can also book you a taxi. Not at last, they have a entertainment show at dinner, not every night, but I think at a two day period. We caught some local music and dances that we really loved. If you are looking to come here, I would recommend.

the WORST hotel iv ever stayed in! 1 the reception staff is beyond rude , 2 the website is very deceiving, the bedding and pillows were worst, towels were not changed during our stay 3 rooms were shady 4 there were bed bugs and roaches 5 a few people suffered food poisoning, the menu didnt change ,the cocktails were limited and not very good 6 the entire staff leaves the building after 22;00 theres no 1 to assist when you have an issue 7 the hotel is sooo far from everything ,you need to travel about an hour for other activities swimming towels offered are old and raggedy(we saw them using these towels to mop the floors) 8 the food menu doesnt change 9 some items were stolen from our rooms 10 we couldnt even leave as they said the booking is non refundable 11 the hotel took advantage and over charged us for a 3 mintue single cab trip which was quoted to us for 200 rupees but they ended up charging 600 rupees , the place was 500m away DO NOT STAY HERE ITS HORRENDOUS -contact me if you need evidence we took pictures i would not even give it a 1 star , there was another 3 star hotel that was 15 min away walking distance which was amazing in all aspects in the same price range i recommend that one whole heartedly its called tropical attitude hotel

We had a great experience in this hotel. Location is ideal with by the ocean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Room was clean and quite spacious. Meals were good although they could improve the choice a little. One small drawback was spotty wifi. Overall highly recommended!!

We stayed towards the end of August 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were informed that just the week before the weather was poor to such an extent that guests had to go and buy jackets! Malini and her staff provided excellent service and were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the meals - if something was not prepared to an individual's taste then there were always variety to select from. We will definitely return to Mauritius in future. Beautiful and clean island with friendly and polite people.
