  • A credit of Rs 600 per adult, per night for dinner at Crazy Fish*

The Veranda Tamarin All Add In (all-inclusive) package includes the following:

  • Daily breakfast (7am to 10am) served buffet style at Ye! Man restaurant
  • Daily lunch (12pm to 3pm) served buffet style or table d’hôte at Ye! Man restaurant OR a Rs 400 credit per person, per day at Crazy Fish*
  • Daily dinner served buffet style or table d’hôte at Ye! Man restaurant (7pm to 10pm) OR a Rs 600 credit per person, per day at at Crazy Fish (6pm to 10pm)*
  • Afternoon tea, coffee and selection of Mauritian delicacies (4pm to 5pm)
  • A selection of local beverages, including mineral water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, cocktails, local wines, rums and beers (served by the glass at bars 11am to 11pm, except View bar til 8pm)

We had a lovely stay at Veranda Tamarin and really enjoyed our time there. While I personally preferred the atmosphere at Veranda Palmar, Tamarin has its own unique charm. The property is beautiful and very spacious, with plenty to explore. If you enjoy larger resorts with lots of facilities, it's a great choice, although I personally prefer a slightly more intimate feel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One thing that really stood out was how incredible they were during an unexpected emergency. A member of our family was injured in a scooter accident on a mountain and couldn't make it back. The team showed so much patience and kindness, allowing us to make multiple international phone calls while helping us organise a taxi to go and collect him. Their support during such a stressful situation meant so much to us, and we're incredibly grateful. The food was good, although we found it quite similar from one evening to the next, with a lot of pasta dishes and fewer meat options than we had expected. Despite that, everything was fresh and enjoyable. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Veranda Tamarin to anyone looking for a beautiful resort with caring staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Rooms great - Lovely big comfy bed, excellent bathroom facilities, spacious balcony, air-con and a fridge. Located on Tamarin Beach. The most beautiful sunsets! Food choice is really good. The layout of the hotel grounds and facilities is so nice. Very cool vibes 😎. But, the main thing that really gives this hotel a 5 star feels, is the staff!

I recently stayed for two nights at Veranda Tamarin and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxing and perfect for a short getaway. The room was clean, cosy, and comfortable, which made our stay enjoyable and stress-free. The staff truly stood out.. everyone was welcoming, polite, and always ready to help. Their positive attitude really made a difference and made us feel valued as guests. However, I do feel that the food quality, especially at dinner, could be improved. Compared to previous expectations, it was not as impressive as it could have been. With some improvement in the dining experience, the hotel would easily offer an excellent overall stay. Still, we had a nice time and appreciate the efforts of the team. Looking forward to seeing improvements in the future.

Reception Staffs are friendly and helpful. The downside of the hotel - it doesn't have designated parking space for guests which is very inconvenient. We were asked to park at Public Parking of Tamarin beach. It was difficult to find one as all of spots were already preoccupied by general public. Food at Ye!Man restaurant was a disaster. The dinner buffet items were limited and drowning in oil. Taste also was not good. Tofu used in chop suey were from frozen. Pizza served were placed on normal plate instead of hot plates. Some of the restaurant staffs were careless and not familiar with drinks they serve. Even breakfast was not great. Not value for money. No entertainment except of boring live music. Not much to do. Rooftop swimming pool is very tiny. Only the view is amazing from there. Rooms are very compact, and the toilet sand wash bassins are at two different location. The fans are not cleaned. There were dust on them. Avoid if possible.

Thank you for a nice holiday. Overall we were satisfied, the rooms were nice and clean, with a sea view. The hotel does not have its own beach, (we didn't mind that :-) the public beach is about 50 meters from the hotel. The hotel provides free transport to the more beautiful beach of Flic and Flack :-) about 15 minutes by car. The hotel has beautiful pools and a pool on the roof of the hotel with a view of the sea and the highest mountain in Mauritius and with a bar :-). All the staff were very friendly. The hotel has a beautiful garden, overall it is such an exotic complex, well maintained. The breakfasts were good - everything you need. The hotel is well located for trips - sea trips, kayaking on the river and more, which was very important to us. We can recommend :-) But we also have some complaints : :-( The buffet dinners were weaker. The service at the bar next to the restaurant was slower and sometimes quite chaotic (but the staff was very nice). What annoyed me the most was that they didn't have half of the items on offer at the bar, the first few days they had large beer glasses, the next few days they didn't, that was interesting. Another thing to watch out for is the loud music from the beach, especially on weekends, until about 00:00 p.m. it was played really loudly, it was impossible to sleep. Overall I can recommend the hotel, the price/performance ratio is good :-)
