Wonderful Family Getaway – Outstanding Service! Our stay at Heritage The Villas was absolutely fantastic. The facility itself is wonderful, offering everything we needed for a perfect family vacation, and the service was genuinely outstanding from start to finish. The staff consistently made sure we were well taken care of. The only piece of constructive advice I have for the property management is regarding the windows and doors. The weather during our stay was so lovely, but we couldn't leave the doors or windows open to enjoy the fresh breeze without inviting bugs and insects inside. Installing screen nets on the doors and windows would completely solve this issue and allow guests to fully enjoy the beautiful climate indoors. Overall, it was a superb experience, and we highly recommend it!

Overall, the resort is beautiful and well-designed. The villas are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The atmosphere is calm, the facilities are attractive, and the general level of maintenance and cleanliness is commendable. The location and overall concept clearly have strong potential and reflect a high-end resort experience. However, there is one major issue that significantly affected our stay, and it is important to address it clearly and honestly. The problem is not related to the staff. On the contrary, the employees were polite, respectful, and tried to help whenever possible. The issue appears to stem from a strict executive policy applied specifically to the villa section, not the hotel rooms. The villa policy seems to be built around excessive restrictions and constant additional charges, even though the accommodation itself is already priced at a premium level. Almost every basic request is met with “this is charged,” “this is not included,” or “this is the villa policy.” This includes essential hospitality elements such as bottled water replacement, basic toiletries, and simple guest needs that are normally standard in a five-star resort. Dining options for villa guests are also unnecessarily limited. Breakfast is restricted to a single option and location, despite the presence of well-equipped restaurants and open buffet facilities within the resort. The same applies to dinner, where guests are directed to only a couple of side restaurants, with no flexibility or access to the main buffet experience. This limitation feels artificial and unjustified. Even simple requests often require long discussions and approvals, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience. In a resort of this caliber, guests should not need to negotiate for basic hospitality services. High-end hospitality is about anticipation, generosity, and ease — not procedures, debates, and repeated reminders of extra charges. Additionally, enforcing an early checkout time of 10:00 a.m. for villas, with uncertainty and hesitation when requesting a reasonable extension to 1:00 p.m., further reinforces the feeling of rigidity rather than guest-centered service. In summary: The resort itself is excellent in terms of design, cleanliness, and infrastructure. Unfortunately, the villa management policy undermines this quality and negatively impacts the overall image of the resort. This is not a staff issue, but a decision-making and policy issue that deserves serious reconsideration. With a more generous, flexible, and guest-focused villa policy, this place could truly match its five-star potential.

We stay in the villas and it’s amazing. however the stuff is not helpful and the breakfast buffet for the villas is very cheap and no variety. they charge you for everything even tiny thing which is normal usage of the villas. We have been charged a small spot in the table.

Nestled in the pristine beauty of Bel Ombre on the island’s unspoiled southern coast, this luxurious retreat exceeded every expectation I had, blending the privacy of a villa with the top-tier amenities of a five-star resort. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality set the tone for our stay. The villa itself was a masterpiece—spacious, impeccably designed, and equipped with everything we needed, including a stunning private infinity pool that overlooked the lush tropical gardens and distant views of the Indian Ocean. The interiors were modern yet cozy, offering the perfect balance of luxury and comfort, while the outdoor area, complete with a gazebo and BBQ space, made it feel like a true home away from home. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional service, particularly from Adarsh and, Pritesh. Their attentiveness, positivity, and genuine care made all the difference. Whether they were arranging a seamless golf cart ride to the C Beach Club, ensuring our villa was spotless, or checking in to see if we needed anything, Adarsh and Pritesh went above and beyond with a smiles that were infectious. Their dedication to making our stay perfect was evident in every interaction, and he truly embodied the spirit of Mauritian hospitality. The access to the nearby Heritage Golf Course and the two five-star resorts—Heritage Awali and Le Telfair—was a fantastic bonus. We enjoyed delicious meals at the C Beach Club, lounged by the ocean, and even indulged in a spa day that left us completely rejuvenated. The natural surroundings, from the Frederica Nature Reserve to the serene beaches, added a layer of tranquility to the experience that’s hard to put into words. Every detail of our stay at Heritage The Villas was flawless, but it was Adarsh’s outstanding service and hospitality that made it truly memorable. My family and I are already dreaming of our next visit, and I’d recommend this paradise to anyone seeking a luxurious, peaceful escape in Mauritius. Booked a villa for a week for our honeymoon. Honestly could not fault anything, everything was incredible. The villa was beautiful and spotless clean. 2 bedrooms, en suites, pool with poolside BBQ grill and loungers and sofas and tables with chairs, outside showers. Fully equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine and drier. Each villa gets their own golf buggy to drive around the resort and golf courses (this was great). The resort: had half board options at 2 restaurants but we tried most of the other 12 or 13 on the resort. The beach was beautiful and huge, lots of sun beds/restaurants/palm trees. The spa was brilliant and had lots of offers. Food: As mentioned, excellent restaurants everywhere. Most importantly they catered for my allergies perfectly; every menu at every restaurant was clearly labelled with allergy info on each dish. All food was also halal according to the resort (apart from the pork products of course) Staff: We could not have wished for more helpful and kind staff at the resort. They were on hand 24/7 to answer any queries + helped a great deal giving advice regarding things to do in Mauritius. Overall: 10/10. Big thanks to all the staff at Heritage the Villas, as well as at Heritage Awali and Telfair. Big thank you in particular to Adarsh who was the main staff member assisting us.
