Our check-in experience was average. The line took approximately 30–45 minutes, and all of the express check-in kiosks were out of service, which made the process slower than expected. The front desk staff were polite but not particularly welcoming. We stayed in the Valley View Tower. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, although the “valley view” overlooked the parking garage rather than a scenic view. Upon arrival, we encountered two issues: the smoke detector was chirping due to a low battery, and the room only had four pillows for four guests. Both issues were addressed, although it took a couple of hours for them to be resolved. The beds were clean and very comfortable. One of the biggest frustrations was the Wi-Fi policy. Although our reservation was for four guests, only two devices could connect to the complimentary Wi-Fi for the duration of our stay. Adding additional devices cost $15 per device, per day, which seemed unreasonable for a room booked for four people. Which according to research after the fact is a policy for all Caesar’s properties. Dining on the property was expensive. Most “fast food” entrées (burger or chicken tenders) were around $15, sides (fries) about $5, and beverages—including bottled water—were approximately $7 each. On a positive note, the prices in the lobby gift shop were surprisingly reasonable. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but there are definitely areas where the guest experience could be improved.

We're locals who wanted a change of venue for a couple of days. We found it at Harrah's. We had a little bit of trouble finding their parking--more on that in a moment. But at check-in Angela took us over to the check-in kiosk and we ended up beating the line. She also noticed we were retired military--not sure how she picked it up--but she ensured we got our "Salute" card, which entitles us to free parking! She also loaded us up with bottled water and we were on our way. We started the evening at Ruth's Chris. (Reviewed separately.) Fantastic. Then we repaired to the Piano Bar for drinks. What a show the two performers put on! We'd come back just for that! The next night we took in the MJ Live show. It was a lot of fun and we'd see it again. Our room was a little dated (not enough power sources), but it was clean, neat, and in very good repair. Much better than we anticipated. The casino isn't large, but there are plenty of places to sit and play video poker. Too many weird table games--does anyone play blackjack anymore? But that didn't affect the quality of our stay, which was fantastic. I think Harrah's gets a little forgotten amongst all the other Caesar's properties around it. But make a point to check out what's happening in Harrah's and stay. It was a great time.

My first time playing at this casino… and I LOVED IT!!! Seriously played for 2 hours and more than doubled my money. This was AM hours and the bartender Eddie, really was such a breathe of fresh air . Very warm genuine, PROFESSIONAL, attentive and smelled amazing. 💯 serious great employee. The gal that relieved him was also so amazing friendly and made me feel welcomed and valued and appreciated. I did not get her name but give these two a raise . So nice to be treated kindly by staff these days and rare. Will always come here and only here!

I recently stayed here for a work trip and will not be back. This is a review of the hotel room specifically, not the casino or dining options. Within my first 24-hours I had to have maintenance to the room twice, and over the next three days had a couple other things I could have called about but decided to ignore. The room was a good size, and it was nice that there was both a fridge and a keurig coffee maker, though it would have been better if there was ever coffee in the room even with four days of servicing. Hotel beds are always difficult, if you're a soft bed person you'll be perfectly happy, if you like a firm mattress you are out of luck. I do appreciate that there were two types of pillow on the bed to pick from. The counter top mini-bar provided some nice options, if you don't mind $12 for a can of soda that you can get pre-chilled from a vending machine down the hall for $3. I understand there is a cost to convenience, but a $9 upcharge for an in-room warm can of soda basically encapsulates my entire feeling about this hotel. It feels designed to extract as much money from you as possible. Call me old fashioned, but that's the job of the casino, at which I spent plenty of money and had a good time doing it, not the hotel room. It's a shame that Harrah's/Caesars is doing so poorly financially that they aren't able to perform basic preventative maintenance on the rooms and instead rely on guests to report issues, and need to charge so much for such small conveniences to keep up the bottom line. I have stayed in much better maintained rooms, for much less money, and any return to Las Vegas will not involve this hotel.

Stayed at Harrah’s Las Vegas and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Every time I left my room and came back, the room smelled strongly like weed. I don’t smoke weed myself and actually don’t fancy the smell of it. I called to report the issue, hoping management would address it properly, but the customer service experience made things worse. The representative I spoke with, Lori, was very quick to tell me they could not change my room — even though I never asked for a room change in the first place. Instead of focusing on solving the issue or showing concern, the conversation felt dismissive. They eventually sent someone to spray a scent in the room, but that did absolutely nothing to resolve the smell. Overall, customer service was a 3/10. Guests should feel heard and valued when reporting concerns, especially something affecting the comfort of their stay. They really need to do better. Sadly, this experience made me decide I will not be staying at Harrah’s again when I visit Las Vegas.
