Overall experience was positive and don’t really want to dwell on the negatives too much but will list as they are important. The service throughout our family of 4 holiday was on point, met with cold towels on arrival, lift to the room and day in day out the service was impeccable along with the choice of food at each meal time. The rooms were really clean, all pools and services were spotless throughout the whole week. Great access to a small private beach and a short walk to the quaint local town. Now for the negatives - 1 - was sold by TUI an all inclusive ‘bungalow’ which turned out to just be a single room with 4 beds in it for 2 adults, a 13 yo girl and a 2 year old. Was told we should have booked a family room but this really shouldn’t have been sold to us. We accepted this as our fault but the hotel were great and changed our room to a ‘family bungalow’ which worked well. I will accept this was maybe an error on our part but TUI/hotel shouldn’t have accept d the booking or contacted us before hand. 2 - The family bungalow we were put in was situated below part of the dining room. If you are like us you have a young baby and like to eat early, be warned all you will hear until around 9:30 is chairs shuffling around keeping your children awake. Really placing a family room under here isn’t acceptable. 3 - Main pool area is where the main restaurant is, on an evening when everyone goes for dinner the floor is like an ice rink due to the type of tiles on the floor and the floor still being greasy from all the sun cream used throughout the day, be warned watch your step.

What a great time we had as a family of four (two adults and two girls of 7 and 4) in the Grecotel Marine Palace. Everything was exactly as we were hoping for. Very nice sea view from our room, great pools and aqua park (admittedly we were rather off season but indeed the distribution of clients to the equally enjoyable pools, the private beach and the aqua park really allowed to relax by relatively quiet poolsides on pretty much always available sunbeds) The whole hotel is extremely kid-friendly, with several kids clubs and plenty of activities. Major kudos to the animators in these clubs who really make it a great experience for the kids (there is kid's disco almost every evening!!) The one small recommendation we would make related to kids is for the hotel to make cushions available in the different restaurants so they can sit a bit higher on the chairs (our 4 year old was a bit too big for the baby seat and a bit too short to remain seated - had to be on her knees: absolutely not dramatic of course but just a suggestion) In any case the food was generally great and the options to book a-la-carte dinners once or twice during the stay as part of the all-inclusive package is a very nice touch. Finally a very special mention for how friendly and professional the staff is. One would think that at the end of the season, staff could be letting themselves go a little. Absolutely not! Impeccable from beginning to end, from the rooms to the pools, from the meal areas to the bars. Many thanks to all from the whole family! Already looking forward to the next time!

We booked a ground-floor bungalow with sea view and a king-size bed, paying extra because we are traveling with 7-month-old twins. At check-in, however, we were told we had been “upgraded” to a family bungalow. I refused the upgrade, asking for the exact room we had booked, and was told I could change it later if I didn’t like it. Half an hour later, after seeing the chaos of two single beds pushed together plus four unnecessary extra beds crammed into the space, I went back to reception—only to be told that at midnight the hotel was full and no change was possible. Two completely different answers within minutes is simply unacceptable. This was our first holiday with the babies and it was ruined from the first night. When I raised the issue, the man at reception responded with arrogance, saying things like “this is what you paid for” and even “these are our beds.” When I complained about the sea view he sarcastically said, “it’s night now, you can’t see it.” The only positive note that evening was a very kind and empathetic lady at reception who promised a topper for the bed — not a full solution, but at least she tried. The next morning, things improved. I spoke with the manager, who was extremely polite and helpful, and later a lovely staff member personally showed me a different room — smaller, cozy, with a much better sea view, and perfect for our needs. From that moment, we could finally enjoy our holiday. The resort itself is very large and beautifully maintained, with multiple pools (big and small), restaurants, beach bars, water sports options, and a private beach within easy reach. The food selection is generous and tasty, and the staff throughout the resort are friendly and attentive. So while our first night was unpleasant and stressful, the following days completely changed our impression and allowed us to actually relax and enjoy the stay.

We had an amazing 8-day family vacation at this all-inclusive resort! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding – luggage taken care of right away, cold towels to refresh us, and even an upgrade to a bungalow close to the playground since we had a baby. The food was varied and delicious, the drinks and cocktails were excellent, and the kids had endless fun at the water park with great slides. The evening shows and parties were lively and entertaining. The rooms were comfortable and the location was perfect for families. On our departure day, the staff went above and beyond by opening the dining room at 5 AM just for us. Exceptional service all around – we will definitely be back with the extended family!

Working in the tourism industry, I’ve had the chance to visit many hotels — and as a regular guest of the Grecotel chain, I can truly say that each property has its own unique charm. The Marine Palace is the perfect place for a wonderful family holiday! Beautiful rooms, delicious food, great facilities for children, and above all, exceptionally kind and welcoming staff. What more can I say, except a heartfelt thank you!
