Spent two weeks here... staff are lovely. Food is excellent in quantity and quality. Rooms cleaned daily and comfortable. Hotel is Adults (16+) only. If you arrive by transfer coach from the airport, you will be dropped of 250m away on the main road, as the road outside the hotel is unsuitable for coaches. Likewise, your pick up for coaches to the airport is even further away at approximately 400m. 2 swimming pools with sunbeds pools open 1000 - 2000. Sunbeds are no to be reserved but the message has sadly to reach the guests with no enforcement. Downsides.... firstly, restaurant on 4th floor of main block and only one lift carrying maximum of 8 people. At mealtimes, a wait of 10 minutes for the lift is not unusual or 8 flights of stairs beacons. Secondly, and most importantly for us, if you are a NON SMOKER, this hotel is NOT for you - 95% of the guests here smoke, as do most of the staff. There is virtually nowhere, other than your room or the reception area (a few seats with nothing to do), everywhere else is a smoking zone. One of us is asthmatic and spent most of the holiday wearing a medical mask because of selfishness of other guests not caring where their smoke blows. We even experienced one couple smoking and drinking while standing in the pool! For this reason alone, we will not return, which is a shame, as we really love the hotel. Management take note.

Not a 4 star, as on their signage. Tiny rooms. To close to adjacent building. No sound proofing throughout the corridors so expect no sleep for your duration. Food is tasty but repetitive. Nowhere to sit on an evening. Only one bar and nowhere to go if it rains. The only plus side is the staff are great

This hotel is rated 4* let me tell you its is more a 2.5. The only positives were the cleaners and the bar staff. There was also a lovely guy who checked us in on arrival. The rooms were very small but kept clean but luckily we weren't there to spend time in our rooms, if your a big person you wont be able to have a number 2 comfortably unless u can sit with your knees on your chin....We were on the 2nd floor the side of the restaurant, the restaurant is located on the 4th floor so if u want a lie in dont expect one especially as you're on holiday!! The noise from the restaurant was awful from 08.00am in the morning, also door slammers start slamming from 07.00am not sure if its a sport or not as there definately seemed like there was a competition going on!! Also if you have paid for a pool view, your pool view is amazing especially as its a view of the hotel next doors pool!! The bar staff work incredibly hard there is only ever 1 of them but they are quick to keep the ques down... reception staff would often be behind the bar helping themselves to a drink and would ask you to wait for the bar staff to return instead of serving you or helping to manage the ques.... the pool bar is the only bar in the hotel so bear in mind its outside so if you get bad weather theres no cover and not really any seating inside the hotel which we found bizarre especially as when busy of an evening you have to either get a table at 5pm or sit on sun beds for the evening in your nice attire this hotel needs to review this also if your disabled or have mobility issues AVOID as there is no disabled ramps or aids to help you. The food we ate was good no complaints and very rare at an all in inc but the food was warm and tasty. The toilets are located downstairs so if u need the toilet after the pool you have to trek through reception so be mindful of wet floors at all times. There are toilets in the other block but again downstairs. The location of the hotel is ideal for the strip where you will find restaurants and bars. Also lots of jewellery shops and gift shops for your usual holiday tat.... also the walk to be picked up for your return is about an 8 minute walk away so be mindful. The staff make this hotel worth a visit thats about it... we were a party of 8 and will not return. Also be mindful this hotel overbooks and sends you over to the happiness apartments over the road we met guests put in there and there was nothing happy to report about it... NO POOL NO BAR NO RESTAURANT.... be mindful and refuse to be moved. If your booked here I wish you well.....

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to provide recommendations on places to visit and things to do around Crete. The food was incredible, with a great variety of delicious options throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete.

A very honest review - The staff were very friendly and helpful where possible. For example, the cleaning lady misunderstood when I said come back, but the lady on reception sent her to come back up immediately. Also, we asked to move rooms (more on that later) and the guy did attempt to move us, however sadly the hotel was fully booked and we did check online to confirm this. Beyond the service, this is where it goes massively downhill... - The rooms were smaller than expected and had a wardrobe, but some drawers would've been useful, especially when you're here for a week and have a fair few clothes between 2 of you. - Bathroom is awfully designed where it's very cramped for the toilet and the shower is an absolute disgrace! Basically, it's impossible to prevent a puddle due to the shower/floor design even with 3 hand towels surrounding the edges like a moat. - We were on the 3rd floor (top floor for rooms) and unfortunately we had the restaurant above us (the same for most rooms on the 3rd floor). This meant at 7.45am the tables and chairs start scraping and banging like they're about to come through the ceiling, so if you're not an early riser, make sure you have a room elsewhere in the hotel. (This was the reason for wanting to move rooms). - Food leaves a lot to be desired... if you don't like salad or cheese oh and desserts which were very nice, it will be a tough time for food. While there is a variety of food to select, the food was very much sub par and made school dinners look like michelin star quality. Even got food poisoning on the 2nd day due to some dodgy chicken (we hadn't eaten outside the hotel at this point, so had to be hotel food). - The hot breakfast was very strange and would recommend sticking to eggs and omelette only for hot food. The pancakes are okay too, but again best sticking to the cold food such as greek yoghurt, ham, bread etc. - There are many sunbeds, so shouldn't struggle for a bed, but have to get a towel down early if you have a preferred spot (usual stuff). - The all inclusive cocktails are pretty bad where they just fill them up with soda water and/or lemonade... for example, who wants a fizzy Pina Colada😆 Have to stick to beers and Spirits only - Do massively question the 4 star aspect of the hotel, but looking online the stars are based on facilities in Greece as opposed to the overall quality of the product. In my opinion, this would be a 2 star hotel quality wise as I've been to many 3 star and 4 star hotels around Europe where this was the most disappointing by some distance, which I suppose is why it's cheap, but certainly not cheerful. - One other positive were the greek dancers that perform every Friday night and the saxaphone guy on a Monday who was good. - Other than that, the negatives massively outweigh the positives and such a shame as this was our first holiday as a couple. - Crete itself is a very nice place with activities to do, although lots of bars and restaurants, but just make sure to look at a hotel elsewhere because if all 4 star hotels in the area are like this, then you'll have no choice except to go 5 stars.
