We were hosted at Gold Zanzibar Resort and Spa at the end of August, and I would like to highly recommend it. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained. The service is amazing, as the people are generous and friendly. Welcoming at every opportunity - Hakuna Matata, Pole Pole, Asante Sana, Jambo, and many other kind words we learned there. All are always smiling and willing to help. We chose the Jungle Villa accommodation with a private pool and hot tub. A big suite where the family is together, but the parents have privacy. We went as a couple to the Full Moon Party, and the atmosphere was extraordinary! The kids slept in the room while the noise level was normal and controlled. The beach is the most wonderful in Zanzibar, a perfect location - clear turquoise water where you can see starfish, unique ocean fish, and more. The pool is big and impressive. The food is very tasty. We had one dinner on the beach and another one near the pool, as planned by the hotel on Mondays and Fridays. My kids were busy all the time enjoying the facilities and activities (including an exclusive fire show). My wife and I had a romantic sunset trip on the seashore. I 100% guarantee a high value since the place is 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at Gold Zanzibar and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent hotel in Zanzibar. We stayed in one of the villas, which was absolutely beautiful – spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. The entire hotel was clean, organized and pleasant, the food was excellent, and the level of service throughout our stay was truly outstanding. A very special thank you to Khadija and Salim, who took such great care of us throughout the entire stay. They were constantly attentive, checking in on us, making sure the villa was always clean and that we had everything we needed. They were warm, kind, helpful and made us feel genuinely looked after from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay. We would also like to give a very special mention to Ali, the gardener, who kept surprising and touching us with small gestures throughout our stay – from bringing down fresh coconuts for us to arranging beautiful flowers. These little personal touches made the experience even more memorable. Thank you to the entire Gold Zanzibar team for a fantastic stay and for making us feel so welcome. We are leaving with wonderful memories and would warmly recommend Gold Zanzibar to anyone looking for a beautiful, high-quality hotel in Zanzibar.

Absolutely amazing! The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Chef Sunil and his team have created wonderful menus all through the week. Jackline and the team who helped us during our stay were kind and funny. Fantastic experience!

We are a family of 4 from California and stayed at this property after our visit to Serengeti. We stayed at the jungle villa. The villa is gorgeous with private pool. The only thing that was lacking in the rooms and bathrooms was very low light. Our family is vegetarian and we mentioned it during our check in. Chef Adam came and told us we will be very well taken care of. So for all the buffet Chef Sunil made sure he made special Indian vegetarian food for us and sent it to our table. The food was absolutely delicious. And the regular buffet spread is also huge with amazing variety. Kudos to everybody that puts in so much effort day in and out. And of course huge shout to both Chef Sunil and Chef Adam! The property itself is huge and very beautiful. The pool, the bar, restaurant, common areas all are very beautiful , green and clean. The entire staff is very courteous and friendly! Would highly recommend this resort.
