Just finished a 10 day holiday here and it was amazing. The staff and hospitality was great The private beach, evening entertainment pools and activities were all top notch The only negative was when we arrived, all 7 bookable restaurants were fully booked, so we had to eat and remain in the main buffet area. Overall a good hotel within close proximity to the airport and Rhodes old town

We stayed at the Eden Roc Resort Hotel, at the end of April, and it's the best hotel we've ever stayed in, I can't say a single bad word about any of our experience. The service was second to none, very friendly, helpful and professional and also efficient. The food was superb, the buffet restaurant had plenty of choice and the alacarte restaurants selection was plentiful, the food in some of these restaurants deserves a Michelin start, I had a steak in the Peruvian restaurant and it's the best I've ever had. The rooms, were always clean, beds comfy facilities new and updated, visually appealing and fresh! Changed daily The overall vibe from the hotel is relaxed, welcoming but efficient and works really well, at night it's very romantic and dimly lit which we loved, we went away to get relaxed and enjoy some well deserved downtime, And got exactly that. We never ever visit a hotel twice, However for the Eden Roc Resort Hotel, We are willing to break that tradition, we will 100% categorically be back here, without a shadow of doubt in my mind, we loved this place!! Thank you Eden Roc team for such a memorable experience!

Great hotel, excellent food and choices, plenty of sunbeds, very good entertainment both for adults and kids. Some improvements ongoing but didn't spoil the holiday. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of cocktail selection, fantastic cakes at CONE, and some beautiful Moon Sets. Great hotel.

Although we did have a fantastic time here, and believe that most of this may have been due to us visiting at the start of the season, there are a few points that I would raise that I would love to see improved: Things we loved - • Al a cartes: we loved the choice of so many restaurants, especially the Italian restaurant. We also loved being able to have breakfast and lunch Al a carte. The only thing I would have loved to have seen were more vegetarian options at the Asian restaurant/meze. • Our garden bungalow was gorgeous. • The hotel itself was beautiful (although there was still construction work a week after the hotel had opened for the season). • The app - being able to book everything and find out information via the app was fab. • Some of the staff were really friendly. Things we didn’t like: • The drink/bar service was unfortunately one of the worst I have experienced at an all inclusive resort. We were never asked once whether we wanted a drink while sitting at the principal bar (even though other people were asked and the waiters were walking around aimlessly). Instead we had to wait in very long ques at the bar, where you often would rather just go without a drink. Drink service in restaurants was also slow and unreliable. I also had one instance where I was told to get a drink at the beach bar while waiting for our al a carte booking. I stood there for over ten minutes and wasn’t acknowledged by the bar staff at all, so I just left. There would be just one staff member at very busy bars - extremely understaffed and I felt very bad for them. Receptionist staff were lovely and so were many of the staff at the Al a carte restaurants. • The music - there was absolutely no music at the beach on the sun-loungers, I found this very odd. There was also no music at the pool one day, and then some music the next day. There was also no music at the principal bar at 7pm/8pm for a few days and then all of a sudden there was music for 1 day and then not any for the next? There wasn’t much of a vibe at the resort for this reason. I do believe that many of these issues could have been due to the season, and perhaps over stressed bar staff/waiters. I would love to visit again & see if it is any better at a different time, as it was a fab hotel. Just slightly disappointing!

We have now returned from a 10-night family holiday at Eden Roc and overall this was a very mixed experience. I originally considered leaving a much lower rating, however in fairness there were also positives and many staff members genuinely tried hard to help. The problems started immediately upon arrival. Despite travelling together as a larger family group including our parents and young children, our rooms were located around 5 minutes apart, creating unnecessary inconvenience throughout the stay. Our original room had multiple issues including poor shower drainage, a broken window and no hot water. After moving rooms, there was still a huge draft coming through the main door due to a large gap underneath. My parents’ room had the exact same issue. Another strange issue throughout the stay was repeated evening power cuts across the hotel on multiple nights, which was not something we expected from a 5-star resort. The food and beverage experience was inconsistent. The buffet selection felt limited and food trays were often left empty. Different bars also had confusing opening hours, making it difficult at times to even get a drink. The minibar situation was also disappointing as it was not replenished during the stay and only contained a few soft drinks and one beer. Restaurant reservations were another major frustration. Having checked in on the 5th for a 10-night stay, we only managed to secure our first à la carte booking on day 5. Then the evening before, all of our reservations suddenly disappeared from the system without explanation, requiring another trip to Guest Relations to rebook. By that stage most restaurants were already full. The hotel app also frequently displayed errors. Another recurring issue was the unnecessarily rigid and confrontational attitude from certain restaurant management staff around simple family seating arrangements. On more than one occasion, straightforward requests turned into unnecessary debates rather than staff simply trying to find practical solutions. One manager even sarcastically called me “the lazy one in the family” for arriving later to dinner, which felt unprofessional. However, I also want to be fair. Guest Relations and maintenance staff genuinely tried to help throughout our stay and made efforts to resolve issues. The à la carte restaurants were generally very good, especially the Peruvian restaurant which was excellent. We also met some lovely people during our stay and made friends, which created some great family memories. Overall, there are good people working here and there are enjoyable aspects to the resort, however the operational standards and consistency are nowhere near what we would expect from a 5-star all-inclusive hotel. For us, this ended up being a 3-star experience rather than a 5-star one.
