I stayed here on my own for a week and had an incredible time. The hotel is really stunning, modern, and you can tell it's ran efficiently by management. Housekeeping also cleaned the rooms daily and the hotel itself was nearly always spotless. The reception staff were really helpful and explained everything clearly during my stay. The spa staff were kind and great at explaining their treatment list and the treatments I had were very good. Magda behind the bar was the stand out - her service was outstanding. She would always serve with a smile, friendliness and nothing was ever too much for her. Location was excellent - Close to local shops, beaches and the strip. The food was outstanding, perfectly prepared/cooked but not enough local cuisine on the menus. The only other minor negatives were: 1) On arrival I was upgraded to a better room for one night, then downgraded for the following 6 days after. I appreciate having the upgrade, however it's not the best look to then take that room away from a guest after a night. 2) The sauna/steam room were out of order. (I know this happens, but it didn't seem like there was any effort to rectify the issue).

I visited Crete in the summer of 2025 and stayed in Hersonissos at Cooks Hotel. My choice was absolutely right. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always happy to help with anything I needed. The food was delicious and offered great value for money. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended — I will definitely visit again 🩷

As someone who lives in the area, I can say that Cook’s Club Hersonissos adds a fresh and modern touch to the local scene. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without trying too hard. The food is consistently good, with quality ingredients and a creative approach that still stays true to Mediterranean flavors. The bar is also a highlight — well-made cocktails and a great vibe to enjoy them. What I like most is that, although it’s a hotel, it still feels connected to the community. The music, the people, the overall energy — everything fits naturally with the rhythm of Hersonissos. It’s a place where locals feel just as comfortable as visitors. Overall, Cook’s Club Hersonissos has become one of those spots I’m always happy to recommend — modern, lively, and genuinely welcoming.

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel . Visited for a week with my adult children . Only thing to consider, time to visit as I can imagine the town can get very busy high season. It was just perfect mid September 19th onwards. It's tucked away like a little oasis yet on your door step lots on offer , bars shops restaurants a plenty ! The pool area unfortunately doesn't get the sun all day 4.30 onwards you loose the sun due to the hotel buildings . Limited sun loungers. You have to head down early to get prime location that gets the sun for the majority of the day . Fantastic DJ's during day and excellent entertainment. Fantastic vibe . Spa treatments great value and experienced therapist how give 10/10 treatments . Ive had a few being in the industry. Staff were the best I've experience in any hotel in a long time . Professional, attentive , actually enjoy what they do which is rare now a days and nothing was too much trouble . Absolutely made our holiday!! My kids are 20,27,28 who said they definitely go back . Perfect week for adult only holiday

We stayed in Cooks Club from 03/09 - 10/09 When we arrived the check-in was done on our phones with guidance from the receptionist . We liked how the hotel gave out beach/pool towels so we didn’t have to use our own. Our room was very spacious & was decorated very nicely . The only downside we had to our room was not having a balcony; in which we couldn’t hang out our swimwear . It was my partners 21st birthday whilst on holiday , in other instances other hotels were nice enough to make the day special for him but cooks club emailed back with really overpriced options that i would of had to pay for to make it special for him, such as balloons , flowers as an option in which i just decorated the room myself. Another experience we had was when entering our room a cleaner was just coming out , when we walked in we discovered that she had just helped herself to my perfume!! The pools were nice , music was the same every day on loop though , and entertainment was not that great . Breakfast was poor, options were not great and whatever is put in the scrambled eggs is absolutely vile. We only really used the hotel for the room amenities in which we had an okay experience. Would probably stay in a different hotel if we were to visit Crete again.
