A Truly Exceptional Desert Escape – Al Maha, Dubai Our recent stay at Al Maha was nothing short of extraordinary. Tucked away in the desert, this resort delivers an unforgettable blend of luxury, tranquillity, and adventure. The food alone is worth the trip—three beautifully presented, multi-course meals each day, each one showcasing top-tier ingredients and thoughtful creativity. Every dish felt like an event of its own. The included activities were a wonderful and unexpected surprise. From wildlife encounters to guided desert experiences, each one added richness to our stay. We also booked the 4WD dune-bashing as an extra activity—absolutely worth it. Every minute was thrilling, fun, and surprisingly smooth thanks to their expert drivers. Our private pool became the heart of our stay. The water temperature was so perfectly set that we found ourselves spending half our time floating or swimming, and the other half stretched out on the deck lounges, drying off in the warm November sun while reading or listening to music. This is truly the perfect month to visit—ideal temperatures and endlessly clear skies. And of course, the service was flawless. Each time we returned from breakfast, our suite had already been refreshed and reset—done quietly, efficiently, and with real care. Every staff interaction felt genuine and attentive without being intrusive. Our King Bed was the most comfortable ever! Al Maha is a rare place where everything works in harmony: the environment, the cuisine, the activities, the privacy, and the service. The Field Guide Team is simply world-class. A special salute to Dushan and Michael, whose passion and deep knowledge transformed our wildlife drives. Their ability to connect us with the desert's residents—from the majestic Oryx at our pool to the subtle, vibrant life of the desert birds—was truly unforgettable. They don't just guide; they share a profound reverence for nature. This same spirit of impeccable care extends to the restaurant. The service team, including Anjal, Remy, Atul, Cho Cho, Gita, Chandru, Gideon, Swarnali, and Rohan, are a collective force of culinary perfection. Every meal was a flawless, super-caring performance, executed with warmth and foresight. Mr. Dil Roze also took very good care of us. Al Maha is the absolute pinnacle of luxury and hospitality—a unique blend of desert tranquility and human excellence.

We have spent a weekend in Al Maha and our stay was delightful. This place is like something from a movie or a fairytale - wild gazelles roaming around, birds singing and cute, cosy villas with own pool. Not only the nature is great here, but also the staff. All the people that work in Al Maha need a huge praise - they are all super friendly, attentive and helpful. Big thanks especially to Mr Saquib from stables and Ms Rose from archery 🙏🏻 if you are a horse passionate you need to go for the desert hack, it is the best feeling in the world. We will be back for sure ❤️

Al Maha is an incredible place. The villas are private and peaceful, with your own pool and beautiful views of the desert. We really enjoyed the floating breakfast—it was such a nice touch and a great way to start the day. Dinner at the restaurant was also excellent, with great food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were kind and attentive, and our personal guide made everything smooth from start to finish. The whole resort feels calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also loved seeing the wildlife around the reserve, especially during sunrise. A truly special place we’d love to return to.

I don’t even know where to start – this was truly a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience for me and my husband. Everything was beyond perfect: the service, the breathtaking desert views, the facilities, the activities, the nature – all 100 out of 100. A special shout out to Meoka (I hope I’m spelling it right), the Japanese staff member who made our stay unforgettable. She was absolutely amazing – kind, professional, and so caring. The same can be said about every other staff member we met, especially in the restaurant. We will definitely be back, and I will recommend everyone to come and experience this magical place for themselves.
