My stay at Al Maha Desert Resort was nothing short of a dream — a true oasis of quietness in the heart of the desert. From the very first moment, the staff made me feel deeply welcomed. A special thank you to Rochan at reception, whose kindness and professionalism set the tone for the entire stay, and to Choochoo and Rochak at the restaurant, whose attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care turned every meal into a memorable experience. In fact, everyone — from reception to housekeeping — embodied excellence, discretion, and grace. The activities included were beautifully curated, allowing me to experience the desert in a peaceful, respectful, and immersive way. And the food… every single meal was a journey of flavours, a true travel through tastes, where each dish felt crafted with passion and soul. Dining at Al Maha is not just eating — it’s an experience. Al Maha is not just a hotel, it’s a sanctuary. A place where silence becomes luxury, where the desert whispers calm, and where every detail is designed to make you feel timeless. I will carry this experience with me for a long time — and I can’t wait to return.

We love our stay, the field guides, and many of the activities. Unfortunately the activity we were most excited about, a dinner in the desert, was a bit of a let down due to the food being too spicy. With that being said, the manager, Tim, hopped in afterwards and made up for it. Overall the resort menu for lunch and dinner is great and the breakfast is quite nice as well. The activities are truly what set the resort apart and are quite fun. Recommend the dune bashing experience the most. Please stay at least two nights to fully experience the hotel, and if you have time, swing by the Dubai Paramotor club 30 mins down the road for a paratrike ride (separate experience though booked separately).

It’s a beautiful resort with great tour guides, and I appreciate the tours and activities the team allows you to experience and enjoy. My husband was excited about all the activities he had reserved for us, and my one request was a dinner out in the desert at night. The hotel chef came up with a special menu for us. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Just make sure to mention and clearly communicate any food restrictions or allergies you may have to the staff.

We have spent a weekend in Al Maha and our stay was delightful. This place is like something from a movie or a fairytale - wild gazelles roaming around, birds singing and cute, cosy villas with own pool. Not only the nature is great here, but also the staff. All the people that work in Al Maha need a huge praise - they are all super friendly, attentive and helpful. Big thanks especially to Mr Saquib from stables and Ms Rose from archery 🙏🏻 if you are a horse passionate you need to go for the desert hack, it is the best feeling in the world. We will be back for sure ❤️

Hotel location and room are outstanding, the scenery, animals and nature and amazing and we loved this during our stay. Activities are really good and enjoyable. Restaurant service is extremely slow and frustrating that it did mess our mood during the stay. You have to spend 1 hour waiting for an omlette during breakfast in an empty restaurant.. 2 hours minimum is the time you have to spend waiting for dinner.. food was a bit above average.. Also, minimal recognition and benefits for Marriott Ambassador status.
