My partner and I recently stayed at Pangkor Laut Resort for 4 nights, and it was truly one of the most beautiful and relaxing resort experiences we have ever had.
The island itself is stunning, surrounded by crystal-clear water and lush rainforest. Every corner of the resort is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a private tropical paradise. Whether it was watching the sunset, enjoying the beaches, or simply walking around the resort, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
What made our stay even more special was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but one team member in particular stood out – Mizan.
We first met Mizan during our first meal at the resort and later realised he was working across several different restaurants. Every time he saw us, he greeted us with a genuine smile and incredible warmth. To our surprise, he remembered both my name and my partner’s name, and often anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask.
His attentiveness, professionalism and genuine care for guests went far beyond what we would normally expect. It is rare to come across someone who is so passionate about hospitality and who consistently makes guests feel valued and at home.
A heartfelt thank you to Mizan for making our stay even more memorable. He is a true credit to Pangkor Laut Resort.

I returned to Pangkor Laut Resort after having a wonderful stay here in 2022. Sadly, this visit was a huge disappointment.
I had emailed the resort several days in advance with clear details regarding my stay such as needed wheelchair assistance for my mom. Upon arrival, no wheelchair to be seen. Mind you we booked 3 rooms. One for my parents, my sis’ honeymoon and myself with 1 year old. Yet upon arrival, basic requests were still mishandled. The irony part is the baby cot was placed in a room with honeymoon deco. What kind of joke is that?? For a property that positions itself as luxury, the lack of attention to detail and guest care was fully disappointing.
This resort will only impress guests who have never experienced luxury before. Will never return again. Pangkor Laut Resort, please learn more from other luxury resorts.

We arrived three days ago, and this is our second visit to Pangkor Laut Resort. Our first experience was excellent; unfortunately, our second visit has been disappointing.
The resort management should have anticipated the high number of visitors during this weekend. However, the staff seemed unprepared. From the reception, restaurant, café, and room service, the service quality fell below expectations. In the end, I had to look for one of the staff members who had attended to us during our previous visit. Her name is Dian, and she made the necessary arrangements despite the unpleasant experiences we encountered on several occasions.
YTL, if you want Pangkor Laut Resort to remain one of the most sought-after island getaway destinations, you should take immediate action on this matter. Dian deserves recognition for her professionalism and dedication.
I also observed a management representative at the jetty who appeared unclear about his role and responsibilities. One visitor shared his concerns with him, but instead of addressing the issue, he attempted to divert the conversation. He seemed more interested in proudly announcing that the family of a Chief Minister was staying at the resort.
As returning guests, we expected the same level of excellence we experienced during our first visit. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations.

A very special thank you to the Ground Service Team led by Mr. Segar. The service we received was extremely warm, personalised and prestigious — truly living up to the iconic reputation of Pangkor Laut Resort.
We enjoyed the wide array of delicious breakfast options at Feast Village, a beautiful and relaxing lunch by the beach at Chapman’s Bar, and a memorable dinner with flavourful Chinese cuisine at Uncle Lim’s Kitchen. Every meal gave us a delightful dining experience.
The natural beauty of Pangkor Laut Island, combined with the exceptional hospitality from Mr. Segar and his team, along with the various facilities provided, made our experience truly valuable and unforgettable. Our meeting room at The Snug was also very comfortable, with free flow coffee and tea prepared for us — such a thoughtful touch.
We highly recommend this resort, especially for couples, as the Sea Villa area offers a romantic and breathtaking atmosphere.
Overall, we are very thankful to the entire hotel team — especially Ms. Yee Sin, Mr. Segar, and all staff — for the top-notch service and memorable stay. We look forward to returning again soon! 🙏🌴✨

I would initially have given 3 stars based on our first room, which was rather average. However, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a beautiful King Suite, and that completely changed our experience. A big thank you to the reception team for their professionalism and excellent customer service.
The hotel itself is stunning, the service is excellent, the bedding is extremely comfortable, and everything works perfectly.
For a prestigious brand like the Ritz, the value for money is outstanding.
I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur is an exceptional experience by all standards. The location is superb, just steps away from Pavilion Mall and within walking distance of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the service is outstanding from the moment you arrive until checkout. The staff are professional and anticipate your needs before you even ask. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

About the food: three versions of salmon are all equally amazing, but the tuna is quite disappointing. Hot and cold food are of high-quality. The desert indicates that there is no real pastry chef on location.
Cocktails are good and the Prosecco is better than some Champagnes. Although I am quite disappointed that a hotel like this does not serve a brunch with Champagne

Rooms looked a bit worn down and the beds were a bit too springy (could feel every movement on a king size bed if you're sleeping with your significant other).
Not the best room compared to other Ritz-Carltons I've stayed at but the location was great. Proximity to Pavilion mall which also has access to the connection sky bridges that take you to other areas such as the Petronas Twin Towers/KLCC. In the opposite direction of Pavilion, there's The Exchange TRX which is less crowded and has a giant plaza in front of it with many restaurants in nearby streets.
Hotel breakfast had decent selection and the club lounge was nice too. If you booked a club room, you can access the club lounge on the ground level. Club Lounge was great. We had afternoon tea and evening snacks there. They pretty much had something to offer throughout the day which was nice for those who plan to spend the day at the hotel or in the area.
The hotel was a bit confusing to navigate around at first due to lack of visible signage and the front desk person that checked us in did not help us figure out how to get to the elevators. We also weren't told where the club lounge was so a lot of the first day navigating around the hotel we had to do ourselves.
Other than that, service was decent. We celebrated our anniversary here and the hotel staff provided us with a nice treat in the room. Overall a good stay.

Great experience. Everything was exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this category. The rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pools (two in total, one of them adults-only) are very nice, although the number of sun loungers is limited.
Getting around the hotel can be a bit confusing at first, as it is large with many corridors and different levels, so it took us some time to find our way.
Breakfast was good, with a solid selection of options. In the morning, however, there was sometimes a short wait for a table, which the staff managed well. That said, it might be worth considering expanding the breakfast area to minimize waiting times.

There are so many lovely nooks and crannies to sit in. My favourite was by the pool with my red towel and buzzer ready to order drinks! My frappaccinos were delicious.

The PERFECT family getaway! Exceeded all expectations.
We stayed here in July 2026 with our family of four, and I can honestly say it was the best vacation we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice.
The facilities are incredible for kids. The pool with the water slides was the highlight of our children’s day, and the kids' clubs gave us a chance to actually relax by the beautiful beach while knowing the little ones were having the time of their lives. I also loved the tree hammock—such a unique touch!
The room was pure comfort; the bed and pillows were so luxurious that I actually wished I could stay longer just to sleep in. And the breakfast buffet was amazing and delish. my husband loved the lamb curry with nasi lemak.
A special shout-out to the staff, who were incredibly warm and attentive. I was originally torn between booking Shangri-La and Hard Rock. I’m so glad I chose Parkroyal. I felt Shangri-La might be a bit too quiet for our energetic family, and I received a notification that Hard Rock was under renovation. Booking Parkroyal was the best decision I made.
It truly lives up to its 5-star rating. It’s not just a hotel; it lives by its name—it truly feels like a royal park. Highly recommended for families!

The food is more expensive than in the local bars, but is very good.
The qué for a 09:30 breakfast is short and choice excellent.
Bar prices can be "London" level, but happish hour brings a little relief.

Because we had stayed here previously, we chose PARKROYAL Penang Resort once again to celebrate our anniversary. The main reason for selecting this hotel is its peaceful and beautiful environment, as well as its beachfront location which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a greater sense of privacy.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the hotel for the thoughtful surprise anniversary cake that was delivered to our room. It was truly a wonderful gesture. The cake was very moist and absolutely delicious, making our celebration even more memorable.
However, there are a few areas that may require attention from the hotel management. The sink in the bathroom was leaking, which caused the bathroom floor to become wet. In addition, the drainage in the shower room appeared to be clogged. We hope these issues can be addressed to further improve the overall guest experience.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The resort was great, set in nature with beautiful views of the rainforest, beach and mountains. We stayed at the Berjaya Resort in Langkawi for two nights. The room was spacious and very clean. We had a surprised welcoming with fruit plater and nice decoration. The Resort is both at the end of the jungle and in front of the sea so it combines perfectly the sounds of the ocean and the jungle life. Very well organized and just a couple of minutes walk from the cable car.
Overall Berjaya Resort exceeded our expectations!!!

Booked this hotel based on the brand and great reviews especially on the breakfast. Rooms, location, service was all very good. But 3 items would hesitate me to come here again.
1. Parking was limited for those with own transport. Had to park by the roadside a few times. The space provided doesn't match the size of the resort. And the 2 EV spaces were always empty throughout my 4 days stay.
2. Breakfast was disappointing for a Westin Luxury Resort. Can't understand how reviews said the choices were incredible with lots of fruits and juices. The spread was limited and the same everyday. Don't think the juices in the big containers are fresh. Some of the dishes lacking in taste. By the 2nd breakfast the family was asking if we could have breakfast somewhere else.
3. Tried in room dining. Also surprised by the portion and again the quality of the taste. Didn't enjoy the meal.
Westin really need to improve on the food dept, the food quality and serving more like a 3 star hotel in Malaysia

I had a very pleasant stay at The Westin Resort Langkawi during my holiday on 21 - 23 Jan 2026, returning after 18 years away from Langkawi. The reception staff, Farah, was very polite and courteous. The Director of Rooms, Seri, personally came to meet and greet me during check-in—she was truly amazing. She gave a wonderful introduction to the beautiful resort and thoughtfully suggested facilities for me to explore during my stay.
I had dinner at Seasonal Tastes, where the food was delicious. The staff, Muhaimin and Reen, were professional and courteous—kudos to both of them.
On the second day, as I passed by the reception counter, I was pleasantly surprised when the Front Office Manager, Nazar, and her team wished me a happy birthday. It truly made my day. Upon entering my room, I was delighted to find beautiful birthday decorations on my bed, along with a cake and a birthday card signed by the Front Office team. I felt genuinely appreciated. Special thanks to Logen and the Housekeeping team for their effort and thoughtful decorations.
Overall, my stay was delightful, with a beautiful resort and amazing staff. I will definitely return in the near future with my whole family.

Wonderful place. We were very unfortunate as upon arrival there was a large storm and the balcony flooded and so did the room. The manager swiftly moved us to a Vila with a private pool which was wonderful. Such excellent service. All the staff are so very friendly and will really make your holiday that much better.
The pool bar is run by Alif Amirul & Azham who are great bar tenders and will mix you great drinks. Very nice friendly guys.
It is the oldest hotel on the island so it does need a little TLC but that did not stop us having an amazing vacation.
Felix the new general manager is always around and very nice he even made the effort to come and say good by as we left.

We recently stayed at The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa for 5 nights, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time.
The food was excellent, with a great variety and quality across all meals. A special mention goes to Fieza at the Breeze Bar, whose warm smile and prompt, attentive service truly stood out and made our evenings even more enjoyable.
We also loved the live entertainment at night—it added a wonderful atmosphere and made our stay even more memorable.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Gaya Island Resort — 6.5/10 Overall
The resort itself has a lot going for it visually. The setting is beautiful, with villas tucked into the jungle hillside and leafy walkways that make you feel immersed in nature. The room was excellent — big, well-designed, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the rest of the resort didn’t live up to the same standard.
The pool area was nice enough, but the pool bar needs a serious rethink. It felt dated and a bit out of place — the standing tables looked more like something from a dive bar than a five-star hotel. The beer selection was also surprisingly poor: two types of Carlsberg and a Sapporo — that’s it. Hardly what you’d expect from a resort that presents itself as luxury. There’s also no poolside service, so you have to walk up to the bar each time you want a drink. Not a huge problem, but it definitely takes away from the experience.
Food: Fisherman’s Cove was expensive and very average — standard western dishes that don’t justify the price. The omakase restaurant was actually great and easily the highlight when it comes to dining. The buffet restaurant, however, was really disappointing: overpriced, slightly chaotic, and lacking any sense of refinement. The fact that the buffet cost more than both of the other two combined says it all. It’s also odd that there’s no Malaysian fine dining or something rooted in local flavours — everything felt a bit touristy and generic.
Service & Cleanliness: The staff were friendly and helpful when it came to room service — food arrived quickly, and the luggage transfer from the boat was handled efficiently. Beyond that, service was inconsistent. A few things were out of stock, and the staff often just accepted it rather than offering alternatives. Attention to cleanliness could be a lot sharper too. One afternoon, monkeys got into a rubbish bag and the mess stayed there for hours before being cleaned up.
There was also a lion dance performance during my stay which, while festive, left the front lawn and reception area covered in firecracker debris. It looked awful, and the rubbish was left there for days afterward — not what you’d expect from a supposedly high-end resort.
The private beach accessed by boat was lovely, with clear water and soft sand, but again we found ourselves picking up plastic and bits of rubbish while staff on duty didn’t seem too bothered. Given the resort’s emphasis on nature and conservation, that lack of care felt disappointing.
The natural setting and potential are undeniable — it’s a stunning location, and parts of the resort do deliver. But other details — service consistency, maintenance, and general polish — drag it back. With more attention to these areas, it could genuinely be special. As it stands, it’s a beautiful place let down by some very avoidable shortcomings.

Gaya island resort is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to. Staff are incredibly helpful, from arriving at Jesselton point, where you are greeted warmly and checked in, to arriving on the island where you are personally shown around to the bar staff and all the restaurant staff.
The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in a Bayu Villa (their most basic room), and it was perfect, huge closet, great bathroom with large bath and the most comfy bed I have slept in in ages.
The beach is lovely. We did venture over to the private beach and personally preferred the main beach at the resort, it was great to have the option of swimming in the sea or the pool. We snorkeled every day off the beach and saw parrot fish, puffer fish, clown fish, angel fish and much more.
The bar was great, prices are very much 'western prices' although happy hour (4-6 and 8-10) offered 2 for 1 drinks. We ate at all 3 restaurants - the feast village offered a great selection & all the food was tasty. Breakfast offered Malay, Western, Chinese and Indian breakfast, a range of fresh juices and sweet and savoury options. Fisherman's cove was a wonderful blend of Malay and French cuisine, spotlighting the fresh fish, not cheap, but well worth it. We had the Teppanyaki option at Omakase. It was great having everything prepared by a live chef & the beef add on was well worth the money. My only slight comment was there was less interaction than I expected - it was not a Teppanyaki experience where they throw food to you etc.
Wildlife wise we saw Monitor lizards, monkeys, birds (including an oriental pied hornbill, which was a real highlight, getting to watch it for a while), and (less of a highlight) huntsman spider.
Overall, an amazing experience.

What more could I ask for?!
We were astonished by the size of our villa and our Kinabalu Villa has the best view of the mountain from across. The service was excellent and I did not know that I’ll be showered with Complimentary Balinese Massage for me & my hubby (too) on my birthday. Did I forget about their food? After 2D1N 3 meals a day, my husband and I departed out with extra weights on ourselves. The food was fresh and nicely cooked with various culinary styles. I love the live counters.
On Day 2, I had my earliest swim at the pool and the bartender, named Andy complimented me with a fresh coconut. Do you know that your tongue will taste slightly numbed if it is fresh due to active electrolytes in the drink? That has really made my day!
And the surprise did not end. I was thrown with a surprise during the dinner buffet. And the villa was not absent from another.
Thank you team GIR for making this memorable for us. We will be back. You have just made the last lapse of my 3 series a great, great one!

The resort is aboutlutly stunning.
A nice coral reef with alive corals, a calm sea and natural jungle behind the resort.
The villas are all spacious, although sometimes walking is necessary, but the view makes it worth it.
The transfer to the resort is by their own boat. Check in at the pier is easy and convenient.
It would have been a paradise like stay if not for a few things that we didn't like.
The transfer is quite expensive, but we knew that before.
For this price I actually thought we will have more service, like turn down service, more explain by the staff, etc.
The food in the main restaurant was ok, but overpriced a bit. I understand we are on an island.
The Japanese Restaurant was great though.
One more thing we didn't like was, that the staff was very often on the phone, which seems unprofessional.
All in all it was a good stay in a very beautiful place!

The good first: the resort is in a beautiful place, and is generally well maintained. It is not over-crowded, so it is possible to get a sun bed easily. It has access to a private beach, and the transfers there and back are frequent and simple.
The bad: all food, drink and activities at the resort are significantly overpriced for their quality, leading to a feeling of being squeezed for every last drop, in exchange for a sub-par experience. The buffet dinner was over 10 times the prices of a (frankly more tasty) dinner on the mainland. The 'coral garden snorkeling' excursion was to a patch of dead coral reef, significantly worse than the coral at the house reef itself, with very limited marine life (a couple of reef sharks), and the guides made limited effort to actually guide us to any interesting sightings. Apparently a turtle was seen by one of the guides - the first I heard of this was when I was sent a picture of this turtle by WhatsApp after the trip was finished. The equipment provided was poor - ill-fitting masks, no fins. The villas also are in need of some work - our bed had a massive dip in the middle meaning we rolled onto each other at night.
Overall, I cannot say that I would recommend staying here, in particular for the price paid. I would recommend staying at a hotel on the mainland and organising your own trips to the nearby islands for your island fix.

Although there were delays during check in. Overall we are pleased with the effort of the services from the staffs here. They do try their best to accommodate and provide comfort to guests. Room dining is absolutely satisfactory. Welcome by refreshing towels and welcoming drinks at the lobby. There are two pools. You can buggy around the hotel with a driver service. Ordered beef burger. It’s quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself with the pool overlooking the sea is memorable. What a great family getaway.

Like to give credits to the resort house keeping team, one of the housekeeper mistakenly took my daughter pillow. It was an honest mistake. Alert them, we had to fly back same day. They apologise profusely. After we got back, they kept me update on the situation, found the pillow and send it back to me, daughter was so happy.

This is a really nice family-friendly hotel and a great option for a relaxing vacation with kids. The farm area where children can interact with animals is wonderful, there’s a fun playroom, and the pool has a dedicated kids’ zone that families will definitely appreciate.
The breakfast was decent, although I personally wouldn’t rate it as a strong five-star breakfast. Still, overall the food experience was quite good. The beachfront dinners were especially enjoyable, and the live music every evening created such a lovely atmosphere.
The villas are cozy and comfortable. They’re not brand new and could use some refreshing in places, but they are generally well maintained and pleasant to stay in.
Another big plus is the location — there are shops, massage salons, and a fantastic rice farming museum nearby, which is absolutely a must-visit.
Overall, I wouldn’t call this a “dream hotel,” but at the same time there are no major downsides either. For a family vacation, I would confidently recommend it. The price-to-quality ratio is definitely fair.

Had a superb experience at Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa, Langkawi. From reception and welcome to checkout, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The room was elegant, very comfortable, and the washroom was huge and beautifully designed. The terrace offered amazing views, and the staff and room service were extremely friendly and helpful. Pools were spotless and well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The entire property — from rooms to gardens, pools, and beach areas — was beautifully maintained. I originally planned a couple of nights but ended up extending my stay to enjoy the hotel itself. It was easily the highlight of my two-week trip across three countries.

Our stay at Pelangi Beach Resort has been amazing. The inclusive breakfast is worth it and it has two excellent kids pool (toddlers & children). The Kiki kids club is also an excellent play room and they have great activities. The resort staff are welcoming, friendly, and go above and beyond. The Spa for a massage is worth the money, I had the traditional Pelangi massage. The rooms are clean and well enough maintained. Sunset dinner at the Pelangi Grill is a must as the view of the islands at sunset challenges most beaches of the world. The resort is well laid out, easy to get around and you can use the free shuttle booking if you wish.
The beach is great but we preferred the pools. It was quiet when we came in May 2026 but I’m sure the more popular season sees it full of visitors. The island isn’t big so everything is mostly 30 minutes away, shops only 10 minutes. The exchange rate was excellent for us so make sure to take full advantage of the facilities. I used the gym once and found it acceptable with modern equipment.
The room service provides plenty of options and was always 25 minutes.

The St Regis Langkawi represents an impeccable class act in luxury hospitality.
Every aspect of our stay had surpassed our expectations.
From the moment of arrival, our car was valet parked throughout our stay. Our check-in was handled through a dedicated butler, complete with welcome drinks and light bites.
The beautiful lobby sets the tone with its grand yet refined ambience - a standard which is carried throughout the rest of the hotel's facilities.
We booked the Andaman Sea View room, and over the course of our stay, its spacious balcony framed countless breathtaking views, from the cotton candied skies at sunrise to the violet horizon at sunset.
The quality of service is remarkable; every hotel staff around the hotel, from the lobby to the pool and the restaurants was always ready to assist with a smile.
The butler service was always a quick message away on WhatsApp, and we could enjoy 6 complimentary coffee/tea/chocolate drinks delivered to our room per day - a delightful perk that every luxury hotel would do well to offer.
A tip would be to request for a medium soft memory pillow, which made our rest all the more comfortable.
The breakfast spread at L'Orangerie was wonderful, with a wide selection of pastries, dairy, and local spreads. The hot latte was especially wonderful.
In all, we are absolutely delighted by our first St. Regis experience and this stay has set the benchmark for future experiences to come.

My husband and I just spent the last nine days in the water. The hotel was fantastic and we had a lovely time. The room And hotel were beautiful. The stars was Very friendly and helpful. I especially loved the wildlife (monkeys) that would visit around the resort. The breakfast buffet was incredible. However, we did find the overwater restaurant to be very small portions and expensive. We ventured over to the Westin to the tide and also the breeze restaurant which were both incredible.

Heartfelt appreciation to Shabir for his outstanding butler service. He was always prompt, attentive, and readily available whenever we needed assistance.
Special thanks as well to Afiq, who paid close attention to every detail and took note that we were celebrating our anniversary. He made our breakfast experience even more memorable by arranging a special drink and dessert, which was a thoughtful and delightful surprise.
Overall, it was a wonderful and pleasant stay. The warm hospitality, personalized touches, and excellent service made our celebration truly special. We look forward to returning again.

We had the most incredible time at St Regis Langkawi. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect. We did not want to leave. The staff are so friendly, helpful and kind. Rooms are beautiful, we had a beach access pool room and it was perfect for us as a couple with peace and quiet, we loved having our own pool to use and direct access to the beach. Kayaputi cocktails with the sunset was pretty special, Pantai grill beach bbq was amazing and breakfasts were fabulous. Also would highly recommend getting a massage at the spa. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you!!

There’s something really special about returning to The St. Regis Langkawi after celebrating our wedding here 2 years ago. What made this stay unforgettable wasn’t just the beautiful suite, pool or beach — it was the people.
From the moment we arrived, so many staff members remembered us and warmly welcomed us back. Those small moments of recognition made us feel genuinely cared for and turned our holiday into something much more meaningful.
We were also so touched by all the thoughtful details throughout our stay — the anniversary cake, chocolates, and little treats left in our room each day. Nothing felt overlooked. Travelling with a baby can sometimes be overwhelming, but the team made everything feel easy and comfortable for us.

From the moment we arrived, the check-in staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and provided exceptional service. A special thank you to Manan, whose thoughtful room arrangements were a wonderful touch that we deeply appreciated. Our room was beautifully presented, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, making our birthday celebration truly memorable.
A special thank you to Nesh from the Coffee House for taking such good care of us during breakfast. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Maya Hotel Kuala Lumpur in the future.

We recently stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Maya in Kuala Lumpur as part of a tour package. While parts of the hotel are undergoing some upgrades, the hotel is very well located and only a short walk to the Petronas Towers and shopping areas (we had a view of the towers from our room).
The staff are exceptional and a credit to the hotel - personable, helpful and courteous. A special shout out to Nash in food and beverage. Nash went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and the breakfast buffet he oversaw was one of the best we've seen!
We also appreciated the surprise birthday card and cake delivered to our room!
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you! We would be happy to recommend Hotel Maya.

Located primely and next to the Twin Tower.. Hence u need to be prepared for the traffic. Its more of a business hotel and the entrance way is a bit confusing. It has many rooms and can accomodate any group size. The rooms and swimming pool are clean and neat. U can plan a good 1-2 day stay and if your planning more than that you can opt for a cheaper and better options a bit outer and less crowded location. Btw, always a lot of construction and upgrades happening nearby.. Overall a can visit if short duration!

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. It's been a passable stay - great views (thank you to reception taking into account my request for a city view), excellent location, the room is clean enough, service has been fine - but the whole hotel really needs a thorough clean and maintenance improved. 2 of 4 lifts are currently out of order (10 minutes wait today). I asked for the dirty handprints on the windows to be addressed on my first day, and they were not. Lots of mozzies in my room. Probably wouldn't stay here again, unfortunately.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur with my partner during Valentine’s Day. Truly a 10/10 experience. The decoration of the hotel is beautiful and elegant, creating a very romantic and relaxing atmosphere.
The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive from check in until check out. Their service made our stay feel special and comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained, and the overall ambience of the hotel was perfect for a couple’s getaway.
Everything from the service, environment, and hospitality exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic stay in Kuala Lumpur. Will definitely come back again.
