My partner and I recently stayed at Pangkor Laut Resort for 4 nights, and it was truly one of the most beautiful and relaxing resort experiences we have ever had. The island itself is stunning, surrounded by crystal-clear water and lush rainforest. Every corner of the resort is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a private tropical paradise. Whether it was watching the sunset, enjoying the beaches, or simply walking around the resort, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. What made our stay even more special was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but one team member in particular stood out – Mizan. We first met Mizan during our first meal at the resort and later realised he was working across several different restaurants. Every time he saw us, he greeted us with a genuine smile and incredible warmth. To our surprise, he remembered both my name and my partner’s name, and often anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. His attentiveness, professionalism and genuine care for guests went far beyond what we would normally expect. It is rare to come across someone who is so passionate about hospitality and who consistently makes guests feel valued and at home. A heartfelt thank you to Mizan for making our stay even more memorable. He is a true credit to Pangkor Laut Resort. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I returned to Pangkor Laut Resort after having a wonderful stay here in 2022. Sadly, this visit was a huge disappointment. I had emailed the resort several days in advance with clear details regarding my stay such as needed wheelchair assistance for my mom. Upon arrival, no wheelchair to be seen. Mind you we booked 3 rooms. One for my parents, my sis’ honeymoon and myself with 1 year old. Yet upon arrival, basic requests were still mishandled. The irony part is the baby cot was placed in a room with honeymoon deco. What kind of joke is that?? For a property that positions itself as luxury, the lack of attention to detail and guest care was fully disappointing. This resort will only impress guests who have never experienced luxury before. Will never return again. Pangkor Laut Resort, please learn more from other luxury resorts.

We arrived three days ago, and this is our second visit to Pangkor Laut Resort. Our first experience was excellent; unfortunately, our second visit has been disappointing. The resort management should have anticipated the high number of visitors during this weekend. However, the staff seemed unprepared. From the reception, restaurant, café, and room service, the service quality fell below expectations. In the end, I had to look for one of the staff members who had attended to us during our previous visit. Her name is Dian, and she made the necessary arrangements despite the unpleasant experiences we encountered on several occasions. YTL, if you want Pangkor Laut Resort to remain one of the most sought-after island getaway destinations, you should take immediate action on this matter. Dian deserves recognition for her professionalism and dedication. I also observed a management representative at the jetty who appeared unclear about his role and responsibilities. One visitor shared his concerns with him, but instead of addressing the issue, he attempted to divert the conversation. He seemed more interested in proudly announcing that the family of a Chief Minister was staying at the resort. As returning guests, we expected the same level of excellence we experienced during our first visit. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations.

A very special thank you to the Ground Service Team led by Mr. Segar. The service we received was extremely warm, personalised and prestigious — truly living up to the iconic reputation of Pangkor Laut Resort. We enjoyed the wide array of delicious breakfast options at Feast Village, a beautiful and relaxing lunch by the beach at Chapman’s Bar, and a memorable dinner with flavourful Chinese cuisine at Uncle Lim’s Kitchen. Every meal gave us a delightful dining experience. The natural beauty of Pangkor Laut Island, combined with the exceptional hospitality from Mr. Segar and his team, along with the various facilities provided, made our experience truly valuable and unforgettable. Our meeting room at The Snug was also very comfortable, with free flow coffee and tea prepared for us — such a thoughtful touch. We highly recommend this resort, especially for couples, as the Sea Villa area offers a romantic and breathtaking atmosphere. Overall, we are very thankful to the entire hotel team — especially Ms. Yee Sin, Mr. Segar, and all staff — for the top-notch service and memorable stay. We look forward to returning again soon! 🙏🌴✨

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. What stood out most was how many of the team members remembered us and greeted us so warmly throughout our stay. Those personal touches made us feel less like guests and more like family returning for a visit. Our anniversary and birthday celebrations were made extra special thanks to the thoughtful arrangements and kindness shown by the team. It is clear that everyone takes pride in creating meaningful experiences for guests, and we truly appreciated the effort that went into making our occasion so memorable.
