Large hotel, good friendly staff, has everything needed. Kids pool , handy kids Aquapark, kids room needs more attention Aircon and care. Management always helpful and ready to solve any problems. Foods are tasty and lots of variety. If you miss lunch you have pizza pasta chicken chips at hand. They have 5 o'clock tea and more food if you miss dinner or arrive late. The pizza was very delicious. Must try. Ice cream should be available for longer. Evening entertainment was very good. Cleaning was impeccable. Air con works very well. More cleaning around the pool is needed. Some parts of the beach have large rocks you can step on but then sand and sea up to your knee for 50m. Wish it had a wider sandy beach and slightly larger pool, the sea is very clean and clear. Has adults only pool and indoo pool. Should have a cheaper spa pricing. 60min massage in London is £40-60. They need to charge £30 and will get a waiting list ever day. It's very good by value for money and is an excellent 4 star hotel. It's a dated hotel but well kept. Lots of spaces and lounges. Location is superb. 80p dolmuş ride to town is ideal outside the hotel. It's a good hotel, good value with great location from airport and town centre. Hospital 10 mins away and costs £10 to be treated in triage with iv fluid , blood test, jab and £4 for antibiotics all under 90 mins. Overall 6.5/10 Would recommend for good value for money holiday.

We'll start with the bad first so we can finish on the high. First things first it's just not a 5 star hotel or resort. The bar and food leave so so much to be desired there's 1 single beer to choose from and the cocktail menu is basic at best. The cocktails are also made with cheap ingredients which is very apparent as soon as you drink them. Then comes the food, the buffet was frankly awful. The same options trotted out night after night and even then the standard is so bad. Every now and then you'll get something different but every time the dishes were just so flavourless. The room was fine. A fairly standard room but if I wanted to nit pick I'd say the corrosion on the shower was poor as was the mattresses. The bed was so firm I felt myself waking up with a progressively sorer neck each morning The staff were fine, the receptions staff were helpful but that depended on what person you got as some of them were clueless. A huge shout-out to the facilities and cleaning staff though they do a phenomenal job. As for the good the hotel and amenities are great. The pool options are really good and the beach is relatively well kept. Again a lot of the good is down to the people running the place on a day to day basis like cleaners and maintenance/facilities staff. TLDR: Not 5 star. Bad food, bad drinks, but nice place to be and stay. Wouldn't come back.

Disappointing "5-star" experience – outdated hotel and unprofessional staff I strongly advise against this hotel for anyone expecting a true European 5-star standard. The Turkish star rating is definitely inflated here. • Hotel and Rooms: The property is quite old. Rooms are cleaned only on the surface; it’s visibly dirty under the cabinets and beds. • Food: While there is plenty of food, it is monotonous and completely tasteless. • Atmosphere: This hotel seems tailored specifically for people aged 60 and over. The vast majority of guests are elderly, and younger people will find it incredibly boring. From my observation, younger travelers are practically non-existent here. • Staff: This was the worst part of the stay. The waiters are unprofessional, engage in gossip, and are extremely pushy when it comes to contacting guests, clearly looking for "romances." It makes for a very uncomfortable environment. • Extra: The on-site shops sell low-quality counterfeit goods of famous brands. It is important to remember that this is a theft of intellectual property, which is illegal in Europe and reflects poorly on the hotel’s reputation.

After reading some Google reviews, I almost changed my booking—but I’m so glad I didn’t! From a smooth and quick check-in at 2 AM to incredibly friendly staff, my experience at Tusan Beach Resort was fantastic. The room was spacious and perfect for our family of five with three kids. The restaurant team was outstanding—special thanks to Hashim and Nahim for their warm, caring service that truly made us feel at home. We’ve stayed at many resorts around the world, and this one really stood out. Choosing somewhere else would have been a mistake. I’ll definitely be coming back—thank you, Team Tusan!

Pros High standard of cleaning. Minibar contained soft drinks on arrival. One bottle of water per room provided daily. Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Variety of food and drink. BBQ every night serving either a type of meat or fish. Table service available at the bar and coffee bar. Decent selection of cocktails. Fantastic kids’ pool with toys. Evening shows. Live music at the bar on at least three occasions. Probably the most helpful, professional and polite staff I have ever come across in Turkey. No side glances or creepy comments, and most services delivered with a friendly smile. Staff are clearly treated well by management, who were also helpful and professional at all times. Lovely views of the bay. Local bus stops right outside – 40 lira per person to town. Local taxi available from the hotel. Cons Very worn bed linen, frayed and bobbled – this is simply unacceptable. Lumpy pillows which took two days to change. Basic daytime animation activities, though the team were friendly. Kids’ mini club was very poor – the room contains less than a handful of toys and a broken plastic house. You have to pay up to £10 for your child to design a T‑shirt and that’s about it. There is so much potential in this space, and air con would be essential during warmer months. Ice cream available for one hour a day and once it’s gone, it’s gone. The lack of availability left my child disappointed daily as popular items/flavours were limited. Spa charges 50 euros (“special price”) for a 60‑minute massage. Why not charge a little less and actually generate business for yourselves. The main pool is quite small and overcrowded with sun loungers, many of which had broken backrests. The worst part is that there were never enough sun umbrellas, with the excuse being “recent winds destroyed some of our existing stock”. The pool area was always dirty, littered with empty cups and spillages. The pool attendant was hard to locate and only seen bagging rubbish towards the end of the day. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel is immaculately clean. Please keep the area around the pool clean and hygienic – a pool brush/broom and a litter pick goes a long way. Whilst food is ample, hot meals were only ever served warm at best. Terrible coffee During a 7‑night stay, watermelon was only served twice, which is unusual for a Turkish hotel. Majority of ride‑on toys out of order. Large rocks as you enter the sea, but glorious soft sand after 3–4 metres of carefully placed footsteps. It would be really helpful to have a towel hut available by the pool. Pretty incredible 3‑star hotel with the potential to be a great 4‑star with a few tweaks.
